If you want a better valve, go for the frost free (depth depends on your frost area) hydrants. A bit more expensive, but much better lasting. I have one on the side of my house that has been used for at least 10+ years of regular use. We see them used in the campgrounds up here with heat tape in the winters.
I showed one of those in the video. If you planned to use those "and" put them close enough to electric your could use heat tape but pretty expensive to do that with a large campground. The other issue would be if the power went out during that time. I think there are a multitude of ways, just none are perfect. Thanks for the response.
I'm sure that you have researched all the options available. Doesn't sound like there is a foolproof method. If your'e gonna have to replace them often, might as well be a cheap remedy.
Maybe. I will look into it. I wonder if they would hold up to the cold any better than brass. Also, like I said with the brass ones over time the handle rusts off. Thanks for the suggestion.

New products come out all the time. The answer may be to just keep waiting.
Are the full service sites on septic or city sewer?
All are on septic. No sewer service out this far.
@@soyouwanttoownacampground938 how many spots do you recommend per septic appx ? How often do you need to have them cleared ?
Your local gov. will let you know what they require. It wasn't up to us. We are on an 18 month schedule. Better safe than sorry.
