Work shit out is so different from their other songs, and yet this is of course how Dirty Loops sounds. Great reaction as well!

Whohooo! Best reaction to one of Dirty Loops’ finest pieces!
Thanks for that, Anna, what a pleasure to listen to this again with you. It’s been a while since I’ve heard this, and what a banger it is-!
I loved everything you said about them, you have such a great way with words.
Yes, they are beyond categorization, part of what keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and no, there is no good place to stop 😉 Just for the sheer display of chops and musical ideas, but also because of the build and flow of it.
Also liked your analogy between listening to their music and reading a good book, or watching a heist movie :)
Someone once pointed out what sounds like a high pitched siren-effect a few times in the piece, -an effect used in some movies by Hans Zimmer and others to create tension. Then there is this ever ending rhythmical pattern underneath which keeps the whole thing ticking along, then the water-effect at the beginning of Jonah’s keys solo….this thing is full of imagery.
Dude this stuff can seriously scramble your brain in no time, the amount of sh** being worked out here :) and for me the only salvation, apart from being overwhelmed by the awesomeness of it all, is to focus on one player at a time.
Their cover of MJ’s ‘Thriller’ in collaboration with Cory Wong, is another example of their story-telling abilities, as is their version of the Samsung Galaxy Ringtone 2016 :)
    An absolute journey.
Then there is Jonah’s solo stuff, including his cover of ‘Bad’, and his ‘Coffee Break’ :)
    Links below.
Thanks again for a rad DL reaction, Anna. Already looking forward to your next one ☺️👍🙏

When you stop the music to comment, the backround noise is so overwhelming it almost makes unbearable to listen to you. You need to figure out how to get rid of that mechanical humming, white noise sound floor in your studio setup. I enjoy your comments ,I think.
Do Dirty Loops " Thriller" for the Halloween season once you get your noise problem resolved.
