Most of the PVR INOX & Cinepolis multiplexes are just 2K 7.1 with really small screens. Not worth for the ₹250-₹350 price range. Single screens are better with 4K ATMOS and large screens in just ₹150.
I pay 120-130 rupees for a 4k screen, with Dolby atmos. In a small city in Andhra. But at the same time I pay 180-200 in these multiplexes in the same area.
😂when big movies are releasing ticket prices are also increasing that's the reason telugu audience footfalls have decreased 😂 they have to have ticket price control for every movie
I absolutely second your thought Be it bad quality screens, bad sound quality, or in multiplexes the price is very costly and it is increasing day by day and the quality is not great compared to earlier
The subtitle problems is very bad nowadays... everytime I have to call ticket counter or theatre management to ask whether film have subtitles or not....and most of the times it takes hours just to connect call... On the top of that still there is not guarantee there is subtitles or not even they say yes also
Single screens are a saving grace on price, however their service??? South there is price cap only on ticket prices that too is breached when a big hero film releases. Food item prices are over the roof. Sad state😢
In my home town in andhra normal movie price ticket is 150 to 200 for 4k with dolby atoms and the first 3 days of big star movie is 400 to 500 but here in Bengaluru multiplex almost movie cost is 300 and goes upto 500 on weekends even after 2 weeks of its release this is bad
5:53 the subtitle problem is real and annoying. They don't even show that sub mark under the show timing anymore so most of the time I have to ask at ticket counter or just be hopeful that they will have subtitiles
idk how many of u have noticed this thing , recently when i went to watch bougainvillea( malayalam movie) at cinepolis karnataka hubli , i noticed that they changed the seats of the theater i was really happy when i saw it coz they really needed to upgrade from those old blue cushion seats before most of the seats were broken and all , saw i was really happy to see that they have changed it , but that happiness did not stay long as soon as i sat on those brown leather seats the first thing i noticed was that cushioning was good but the seats did not recline yes u read that right , the seats now don't have that recline feature , when i pushed the seats it did not go ahead i was so fucking shocked , later the smell of the leather seat my god i could not tolerate it at all this was the first 20mins before the movie stars the seats were just like indigo plane seats , thank god at least the seats had lumbar adjust . i did not like this new seats at all .
Post covid, I have only been to the cinema 2 times, because I don't get excited by new movies these days, I have been in the VHS era and when DVDs were in their infancy, I find steaming services has made a mess of the movie watching experience like one service like netflix having a movie exclusive to their platform and other one having exclusive content to their platform possibly alienating people who aren't customers of this or that streaming service or none of them, the beauty of cinema experience is more collective like sharing a movie on VHS or DVD with a friend or relative
In my city there is only one cinema hall. It has two screens. One has sound problem while the other one has bad screen. I noticed this problem during Black panther bcoz I watched that movie twice. Also I believe 3D is overated and it is just a stupid scam. It adds nothing to the theatre experience. Also wtf nona 6:47 😑😑😂
The dark spots on the screen is not because its dirty its compulsory for all screens There are speakers behind the screen and the sound should pass through easily that is why there are holes (they are actually holes) on the screen. But mostly these are not visible, but here i think the holes are too big (kind of makes sense because bigger screen=more speakers= bigger/more holes) and also happens when you sit closer to screen
I have observed one thing in recent times middle class families are waiting for ott releases only youth are excited for movies in theatres both north and south because of popcorn and cool drinks overpricing
Shame man Indian theatrical seems really bad. Ads should not be more than 15 mins. In most theatre's I attend taking out your phone is bad manners and not accepted. Intermission is 5 mins. Cleanliness is also important. Only issue I have in South Africa is cost of the ticket
Also you missed out on the multiplex - OTT issue which is making life difficult for South people as well as movie lovers living in the North who want to see the movies in original language. In recent times many movies were not screened in multiplexes and hence no option but to watch in single screen theatres. Again these theatres would only have maybe max. 5-6 shows in a day that too for a week. If we plan for the 2nd week then the movie is gone! Horrible experience in the last few months
I have talked about this in Tamil pan India video. Its not an issue of the theaters, they have a rule in place 8 weeks before OTT but if producers don't agree then they will have to make hard calls
One telugu producer asked which other entertainment industry provides u an entertainment for 3 hrs with a cost of 1500 for a nuclear family. He said this amount is justified for 3 hr time . What is your take on this ?
Many people record crucial moments in the film mainly title card, hero entry etc. why??? Movie will be seen by anyone who wants to watch..why do you want to record and post in social media?? You are ruining the moments of many people who came for a theatrical experience.. Call attending and checking whatsapp is another thing..some people post the status about the film and keep on checking who sees the status..why do you even came for the film? To watch it or to show other people that you are watching it? Civic sense !!!

@dheeraj009.1 yes that's really true. Hope government puts a maximum price limit for these tickets. Like they do in Tamil Nadu.
In kerala everyovie has same price😂it's consistent❤️ a theatre near me which is good is 130 for past 6 years @@Daredevil009.1
I absolutely second your thought

Rs.30 for a balcony ticket, Rs.8 popcorn, Rs 10 cold coffee. What Joy it used to be in the early 80's! And now...sigh!
Consumer court should take a serious action on these issues

5:18 "If you can't handle them, don't bring them" Said by a wice man 😂😅
I completely agree. I want to take out my kids to animated Robot movie but the snack prices itself are so pricey that I am wary to go.
Make them eat dinner or lunch right before. Then say didn’t you just eat lunch
@@AgentN-s5u Bro kids can eat junk even after having full meal. It's just theatre habits.

PVR & INOX should reduce the price of ticket and food price.

As always you are always right
Kindly watch and review lubber pandhu Tamil movie....u missed it
I don't take kids with me to theatre. It's too expensive esp the food. I always go alone or with friends who will share expenses.

Last day I was watching Singham again and the guy next to me was playing bgmi all the time. It was too annoying.

Seems like expense of a single person. Are you sure it's for family?? Bcoz tickets itself costs so much.
6:46 nona jumpscare
Where is 1000 babies malayalm thriller series review??? 😢😢
We cannot complain about the convenience fee because that money goes to the app developers
But thats not the customer's problem na
