What a wonderful thing you have done! *throws hearts at the screen* Very convincing voice acting and a fitting compilation of images and tracks. I enjoyed it so much and I'll be looking forward to seeing the series continued.
7's is definitely good. But for the most part all the FF games have pretty great OSTs. I personally did not like FFVII:R's Wall Market track. OG FFVII's Cosmo Canyon is one of my faves. Along with Ipsen's Castle in FFIX. (I believe that is the track I am thinking of. Plays the game's theme in an opposing octive. Could be Oilevert I'm thinking of. Pretty sure it is the castle though.) - Cheers.
@@ZackeryGee ya FF9 just doesn’t have the standouts that ff7 does for me. But I mean the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour isn’t that great comparatively but still is a great album, Led Zeppelin made In through the out door, and so on. There will always be a few greats on each of these games. 7&9 both have an absolute awful song that I hate and gets stuck in my head:Golden Saucer and Black Mage Village. -Haven’t played the remake yet, but the Mako reactor them was a disappointment. It didn’t have the descending synth part during the bells (the chorus if you will). Looking up wall market meow

The remake is kind of hard to determine without playing it.. because the music is synchronized with gameplay. So that makes it more impactful IMO. Just the wall market theme was atrocious IMO. What would you say your favorite is of any FF?

Me and my best friend at the time of our first play through (he got to Aerith first and spoiled it for me) were clamoring for a remake since PlayStation 2 came out. His favorite song from the game was the reggae ish beat from the Wall Market... he died in a house fire on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus 14 years before this came out. At least he didn’t have to hear that new Wall Market theme.

Unfortunately not for the first time. I'm too far away (I'm sure) to do anything physical for your friend's family or even for you... But I can offer you advice if you're open to hearing it? Just appreciate, remember, and honor that friend's memory the best you can. Unless s/he was an ass... Then just do your best to remember they're gone now and don't need anymore drama. I hated it. One of the only times I've lowered music from a FF game. I didn't know him/her but I feel your loss and I will keep them in my generic memory as I play any FF game. You'll be OK. On a FFIX replay currently, videos like this remind me how much Uematsu was in his prime for 7. Best music of the series
