Yeah they handled all of the female characters in this show very well imo. They’re strong but they’re still also feminine. I think it’s their vulnerability as a woman in a world dominated by men that makes them so strong and appealing.
One of the greatest characters my ass. D&D have shown to be completely incompetent when it comes to character development. They even butchered Jaime's arc, for fuck's sake, though far worse than they did with Daenerys.

I cried & yelled "NOOOO!" when the N.K. shot Viserion down & that ass much Urine shot Rhaegal down... & when Dany died and Drogon nudged her with his nose, raged in grief, then picked her up oh-so-gently & flew away with her I laid facedown on my bed and BAWLED like a baby!!! Those dragons got to my heart more than the people almost!!! 😢❤

I cried when Ned had to kill Lady, when Arya had to run Nymeria off to save her life & then when she found her again later & tried to get her to come with her but realized she was now a wild wolf ("that's not you... not anymore") & had to leave her AGAIN, when Shaggydog, Summer, & Grey Wind were murdered... and even though Ghost survived (THANK GOD... I don't think I could've handled HIS death!) & Jon was leaving Winter Fell & ask Tormund to take Ghost with them because he belonged in the north... I boo-hooed the heartbroken way Ghost looked at Jon & made that little whimper/whine noise & the poor baby was missing an ear because of his badass fighting in the battle with the Night King!!! He looked sooo sad!! Luckily Jon was reunited with him at the end & seeing Ghostie happy again made me happy!
Fun fact: ALL 6 of the actors who played the Stark kids (including Kit Harrington) kept the dogs that played their wolves in the show because they'd bonded with them! They're some breed of husky I read, but I can't remember exactly which kind. I just ❤ that they all did that!!!

Dany's family owed Sansa's family a great debt for what her father did to Sansa's grandfather and uncle and TRIED to do to Sansa's father. Sansa almost didn't exist because of King Aerys II. She knows it. The whole family knows that story. Why would she welcome Dany to the north willingly? She only suffered Dany there because the dragons had a shot at wiping out the White Walkers.
And she won. She applied what she learned from little finger very well, which is why Jon killed Danny. He knew, Danny would barbecue the North and Sansa just like she did with westeros and he didn't have a dragon anymore to balance the power.
And only one of them is alive

@@9BallBory It was just poorly written, contrived, making Dany snap that way didn't fit her character AT ALL. They turned her into a bloodthirsty monster gone totally bonkers in a way that did not feel logical. Plus there is ZERO reason for Bran to be the one at the end. The guy did NOT play the "game of thrones" at all, so why did he win a game he didn't play? Also, Bran was totally useless and pointless, total waste of his storylines. Even a child could have come up with a better ending (to have someone else write but give the ideas for). Seriously. I've read tons of fan fiction alternative endings and most of them are way better. Plus the fact they wrote out the whole Lady Stoneheart (Catelyn is revived in the books) and had Arya take over parts of her character but then make Arya not as dark as in the books, it's just so badly written. Even if they are going to portray Dany as a tyrant, they could have done it better, by making it more gradual AFTER she got the throne, it was way too rushed that it didn't feel legit and they made Varys and others turning on her feel contrived. Honestly, they made the same mistakes that Marvel is making towards the end they focused on star power with MCU style focus on the names/brands instead of focusing on storytelling. It's like their writers are like "Wouldn't it be cool if we had Sam and Brienne and Davos and Tyrion all at the same small council!" and wrote their writing to aim for that "cool" idea instead of actually writing a good story. It didn't even make sense in the context of the Game of Thrones, like all the worst players end up in control (except Tyrion, a decent player). Instead it's the naive Samwell, the blindly loyal Davos and Brienne, and somehow the unscrupulous Bronn fits in with this group and is in it?? (huh?? I get he's Tyrion's friend but you now have a goody-two-shoes small council basically with one big glaring exception). It's also quite silly to have Bran Stark declared King and yet the North STILL secedes?! From a Stark? Why? Total nonsense that has zero geopolitical sense. No "game of thrones" here, no geopolitics or rationality! Because girl power! Queen in the North! (If you wanted girl power, drag out the other wars and END on a high note of Daenarys becoming Queen, not Sansa seceding from her brother who has no right to be King). They tried to make it like Westeros is turning into some sort of democracy/constitutional monarchy, ignoring that it's a world of magic, dragons, and exceptional cruelty and what they choose "Bran the Broken" to lead them? Why not "Brienne the Big" or "Tyrion the Tiny", or any such epithet that doesn't make any sense. If it's just "memory" and "knowledge" then why not "Sam the Scholar"? It's just nonsense. Nobody WON the Game of Thrones. It cancels out the whole point of the books. Even in "democracy" there's still a "game of thrones" in a sense (a "House of Cards" if you will) and well-meaning people do not climb their ways to the top by accident. And Gendry being made Lord of Storm's End is so ridiculous too, just taking a random b*stard. It's out of character with RR Martin's writing style which would have had Storm's End probably rewarded to a key person instead (more logical). All of it. All the worst players (Edmure Tully, Samwell, Davos, etc.) all ending up on top, the ONLY two you could say were decent players are Tyrion and Bronn. They also missed the opportunity to have Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen) sit on the throne. Dany could have died in a different way if they were wanting to get rid of her. Like her dying against the Night King or something like that and then have the united Starks facing down Cersei and Jamie with an emotionally torn Tyrion begging them to surrender (especially Jamie) which would have felt more epic than just overpowered dragons massacring the people. And Storm's End could have gone to Bronn, if that's what they wanted. They also totally ignored Iron Islands and Dorne towards the end they played virtually no roles and meekly submit to a cripple taking the throne he has no right to. Honestly Tyrion being made king would have made WAY more sense than Bran (being an uncle of the kings, well respected by all, clearly having the mind for strategy, a record of success in ruling, warfare, etc.).

And why not make Tyrion the king, when he's the only one who actually played and won the "Game of Thrones", uncle of the king, successful at management, diplomacy, war, etc. No instead the useless cripple who D&D wrote out any meaningful impact that he had other than him wheeling himself to King's Landing just in time for a nonsensical coronation of himself that makes zero sense and Iron Islands and Dorne perfectly cool with Bran the "Broken" letting the North secede and not demanding the same for themselves... Heck, they could have just had all 7 kingdoms break apart and form independent nations as the ending instead and that would have been more realistic than having Bran the Broken. Or having Daenyris win, or having Dany killed by the Night King and Jon Snow defeat the Lannisters in an epic battle and take the throne as Aegon Targaryen. Or even having Tyrion take the throne as uncle of the former king and someone everyone respects (successful at war, diplomacy, management, etc.). Or having Dany become a tyrant with a loyal Jon Snow by her side but then Arya tries to kill Dany and Jon and Arya have to go at it in a tearful way that would have been way better (i.e. Dany has Gendry executed when some claim him as the heir of Robert Baratheon, so then Arya is out for revenge, only for Jon to be the one to stop her. Or maybe she kills Jon, who then says, "You got me with the pointy end..." or some other quip. Definitely many better ways to end it. Jon killing Dany just doesn't make any sense. It makes more sense in the books that Arya becomes the villain (she has gone full murderhobo in the books) rather than Dany and using her to take out Dany could have been a better pathway than having Jon do it. You could even have it end with some sort of night's watch being rebuilt, better than ever by a new King Jon Snow and finish it with him on the Iron Throne, saying the oath, "I am the sword in
the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns
against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes
the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men."Honestly ANY ending would have been better and not so lukewarm.

За Дени добровольно следовали самые жуткие воины. Датрокийцы (не уверена, что правильно написала) переплыли море и вышли к зиме, безупречные стали свободными, но шли за своей королевой. Даже драконы следовали за ней, хотя могли легко разлететься по разным сторонам. Они видели в это нечто особенное, она точно не узурпатор, наоборот всегда поступала справедливо.
Мне интересно, что стало с ее армией после гибели Дейнерис? Неужели они позволили Старкам так просто захватить трон

Epic! Wish they could go on making this show forever. I’ve read the books and THERE IS SO MUCH that is not talked about or glossed over so quickly that there are plot holes everywhere…. The seasons could’ve gone 20 episodes long each and have about the same number of seasons….
