For those complaining about how noisy the images were, watch again the footage: it was pretty dark when the photographers were shooting the whales and the wolves, so of course you have to crank up the ISO with the native f4-f5.6 and even more with the teleconverters. The pictures of the birds, taken during daytime, were not noisy.
True words. Thats are maybe people they just practice photography in sunny holidays or in front of youtube Videos. :D
So ? Do the same shots with a sony a7III at the same iso and aperture. It will be much better. All people want to say that fuji x-trans is great, but suck a lot at high ISO, and it does...
@@romandulce999 As far as I know, the Sony a7III has a full frame sensor, while the Fujifilm X series have an APS-C sensor, so you should adjust the ISO equivalence for that sensor size by a 2.5x factor, meaning ISO 1000 on a Fujifilm X sensor is equivalent to ISO 2500 on a Sony a7III. If the Sony full frame images still look better than the Fujifilm X ones, good for you, man.
Anyway, I was not comparing the images with those taken with other sensor sizes, I just pointed out how pictures taken in the dark would obviously look grainier than those taken under bright light conditions. As simple as that.
No... If you put A7III in aps-c mode, it still better at hight ISO.
@@romandulce999 Dude, seriously? When you set it to APS-C mode, you are just using a smaller portion of the same sensor.
But as I already said and repeated, I AM NOT comparing Fuji X to other sensor sizes. But if you feel happier thinking Sony is better than Fuji, good for you, man. I won't keep arguing; end of the story.
The noise was beautiful. If I have noise this is the pattern I want.
Shooting X-Trans 4 at ISO 3200, you're gonna have noise - has nothing to do with the lens, so unsure why people are griping about it. The bird photos were incredibly clean and crisp.
Impressive little lens. Got the chance to test and review one. I'd definitely recommend it!

Thanks for that extremely honest marketing. Super grainy shots would not recommend an aps-c for that. For shots with more light the fujis are perfekt 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Is the XF70-300 compatible with XT5 i.e. the 40mp sensor ?

ソニーのAPSC用のズームレンズは70-350mmとテレ端が50mm長い
折角後発で出すなら、そういう点にも気を配ってほしいわ
スポーツモードのクロップ機能も普通に使えるのかな
これだけ小型化する技術があるのなら 100-400mmを作り直してほしい。いまの100-400mmは APS-C専用なのに大きく重すぎる！！

Nice lens! But why dont they use Vanta black inside the lens to completely avoid reflections in the glass??
Because vantablack can't be used in that way.
Will it loose image quality with a teleconverters XF 1.4X and XF 2.0X?
It will make your images slightly less sharp, but nobody would even notice unless you are comparing!
It will not be 900mm equivalent with the 2x teleconverter. It will be 600mm equivalent...
It will be 900mm in Full Frame equivalent.
Some of those whale and wolf shots were way too noisy.
