I hope Fujifilm engineer will make lenses and cameras based on the RUclips comments. I used Canon 5D series, now X-T3 and waiting for X-H2. Yes, full frame is good. But who will say Fujifilm is bad? Regards from Bali, Indonesia.
I've had two 10-24s and both had an element issue. One was ridiculously soft at 24mm and the other had a massive soft corner at 10mm. Hopefully third times the charm with this new lens.
yes and no? It depends on your needs, if you dont need WR, then no. If you need WR, then yes. Useecase would be - if you shoot landscape, upgrade. If you shoot real estate, don't, you're indoors anyway. If you have tons of money and really miss the marked aperture ring and occasionaly would benefit from WR, then sure, upgrade, it's a more usable lens.
I love the changes that Fuji made to this lens but I am surprised by the changes that they didn't make. Even if they didn't want to update the optical design, there are new lens coatings available now that aren't employed on the updated model. This seems like it would have been an easy improvement to make. And while Fuji emphasizes the quality of their original optical design, there remains room for improvement at larger apertures and at the long end of the zoom range. None of this is to suggest the updated 10-24 isn't a solid lens. I will be purchasing one myself.
Thank you Fujifilm! This will be an amazing addition to my current equipment
Thank you Fujifilm.
I`m going all in with Fuji "Medium format" is the future in 2021 and beyond.

How is this for video though ? Does it still do the autofocusing pulsing?
If this was f1.8 I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Please Fuji, make a fast wide zoom. So many people adapting the Sigma 18-35, particularly for video.
XF35mm F1.4 R OIS WR please
Yes, Fuji really should update the old 1.4 lenses
and more ois wr primes, yea
I love that lens. But low light focusing was very slow. An update would be great.
Very Good
