      Oops. I guess your right. It might have had something in it and I didn't clean it.

    Any leak updates?

      No leaks so far, but I now have to replace the transmission so I only drove about 50 miles before that broke. I made this video before the broken tranny video just published them in the wrong order.

      @@builditgarage I just did this same thing today. Did the tranny go because of the pan hit?

      @builditgarage  2 года назад

      @@sbk567 no, it started making noise immediately after I made a hard acceleration left hand turn coming off a freeway off-ramp. Whatever is going on doesn't effect the engine idle so I am thinking it is internal to the tranny. I have started that video, but it is cold in the garage so I haven't had a lot of motivation to get out there.

    I got a hole in the same exact spot🤦‍♂️

      It is hard to believe the made the oil pan the lowest point on the car and didn't add a skid plate. It isn't really the lowest point, but it is definitely sticking out there to get hit.

      So you were out on Hungry Valley Road in Reno when you got a hole in your oil pan??? 😁
      Just kidding, I think that is the lowest point of the oil pan. I want to work on a skid plate to cover it. the problem is the lack of any mount points that are solid in front under the radiator. Probably have to make some brackets that go all the way up to the frame rails.
      Let me know if you have any questions while replacing it. Do you have the pan mounted sensor on yours? If not and you find a place to order the pan without the hole post it in the comments.

      @@jojoiou6731 yeah. They do seem to have more issues than "German Engineering" should have. All kinds of electrical and mechanical gremlins everywhere.
