This is so beautifully shot and edited. So often, when the subject of the interview speaks a different language, the translation covers up their voice, and you miss getting their personality and their sense of humor and style. Here it meshed perfectly. Very well done, interesting and enjoyable.
So glad to be from Connecticut, home to so many Italian immigrants (like my maternal grandparents)who brought pizza to prominence in the US. And not just pizza. Make my emperor of the world and I will dispatch all 60 million Italians to every corner of the world and put them in charge of every kitchen!
I'm from Long Island. Umberto's in Sayville is the best pizza. I also, make my own Chicago deep dish. Tried Detroit style too. My girl got me the charcoal Expert Grill oven from Walmart to use. Can't wait. Great story.
You both are an inspiration, I appreciate the videos and look forward to new postings on Caras recipes, although I have not seen any new ones. I like your channel because you guys are the real deal, you cook with Whole Foods not processed garbage. Please continue to make videos, I really enjoy the caras recipes and try to grasp as much as I can to cook better for my family. You both are a cute couple, get married, make it official before the Lord. I know it’s off topic, but felt compelled to share that with you both. I have been watching you both for years, your channel is amazing! I would like to buy Caras cookbook, I get a bit overwhelmed because I don’t know which type of dehydrater to buy also it takes many hours to cook and I don’t like to leave things plugged in while I’m out, so that’s a bit tricky for me. Also, I love pizza, I use cashew cheese but need some type of plant based unprocessed pepperoni, I feel sooooooo deprived when it comes to pizza. All the best to you both
Try a Margherita or Marinara. With those you can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the technique. Dough is VERY different from NY style pizza: it is very thin and incredibly soft.
@@Sofi-1704 it’s one of the first episodes in season one. Kira is trying to make an old man leave his house for some reason. I don’t remember the details other than she destroyed his kiln (pizza oven)
You are complaining about Pineapple on a pizza, yet you are putting ice on one to make a sappy tasting result? Sorry, but I love my frozen Freschetta rising crust with Canadian ham and pineapple. I just add some fresh chopped onions and green bell peppers and its perfect. Give it only 12 to 13 minutes though. I don't go with the recommended 20 mins on the box. The pizza comes out tasting dry and hard to chew. Its even better the next day when you reheat it in a toaster oven. I stopped buying dominoes: lousy service, expensive, and its basically store bought frozen pizza.

I’m going to Naples in April. I can’t wait to sample the world famous pizza, although I’m from the Bronx, so I already know good pizza.
Its a different experience eating pizza in Naples.
Order a pineapple pie, omg is amazing!!!
@@bloatedsodium7301 1:45 the chef says pineapple topping is the pizza of the devil.

Shout out to Epcot pizza; still the best I've ever had :)
HE’S 80?! Good lord I wouldn’t guess over 60.
Pizza keeps you young.

Stick with Tradition 🇮🇹 Viva Italia ✝️♥️ 🍕
You can use your bbq to make pizza if you don’t have a pizza oven.
😍
Seth looks like a giant when he is standing next to Santuci in Santuci's garage.
The closest real pizza is 45 minutes away for me.
Pizza in a wood burning brick oven is the only way.
Hard work, if you can get it.
My mom made pizza every Friday (sometimes Saturday) night while I was growing up. She still often does. So easy. I don't make it often but I can.
"pineapple on pizza is the devil" ... then proceeds to put ice on pizza 😂
Hmmmmmm!!!
Kooked
One bite, CBS doesn’t know the rules.
Interview Dave Portnoy a real man of pizza 🍕. Everybody knows the rules....

Any Deep Space Nine fans in the chat? Pizza ovens, enemy of the bajoran separatists

Freschetta is trash. Probably even worse than dominos, and thats peak garbage
love a wood fired pie, but for everyday eats it's tough to beat a 3 topping, carry out pizza for $7.95 from Dxminxs
