I am absolutely in love with this space! What a great rehab! I am very impressed with the simple but really classic look! Love it! Thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️
I love the openness in the design. So many Tiny/Skoolie designs are packed with furniture for more storage and function, but I like the less is more approach of this design.
This isn't a skoolie though. City buses have a lot of built-in storage underneath the bus - no need to create a lot of storage in the living area. School buses don't have that. That's why I would opt to convert a city bus than a school bus. And if I did, I would make it exactly like this one!
Wow, this bus is just as old as I am. I'm happy to see it retired as a house. Really like the simple but beautiful interior, no need to have too many furniture inside but it still functions as a proper house. Thanks for the video. Stay safe and healthy.
I love your home. It is luxuriously simple and clean in design yet fully functional and practical. This design is number one on my list even above some of the luxury models I've seen.
Love this build! Always when I think I can love a Skoolie anymore, I see a new one. This is perfect for me (I would maybe do a small L-shapped couch, but other than that, perfect!
I feed it is a beautiful home. It's awesome. Great use of space. I love all the privacy. The scenery sorroundings this Beautiful Bus Home. Wow ! I could live comfortably there in a moments notice.
This is stunning. I don’t think I hardly ever comment, but I definitely watch & am always impressed & give you a thumbs up every time. FYI to Danielle: I love your soothing calm presence when you do each presentation on every tiny alt space. I also love how you tell us the things to consider along w/all that is so beautiful abt each tiny home. Ty for your hard work & dedication. I want to be in that bus right now. Love the copper pans & the combo dual purpose stove along w/so many other features you pointed out. And that lake & location. Feel relaxed just watching. Thnx. Fantastic! xx
That means a lot, Marirose, thank you so much for the kind comment! I agree, it would be so nice to be sitting in that bus looking out over the water right now :)
I just love watching these kinds of videos. I might want to do something like this and use it as a vacation home for myself as well as a rental. Thanks for the video!
how could anyone give it a thumbs down? I would live in this NOW, I really love it so much. Thanks Exploring Alternatives for all you do opening up my mind. I really love this channel
Right quick you showcased the original plaque showing the weight compacity, I would either have a new one made up with the finished product and mount it next to the older one or have the older one tooken off and updates added next to each field. Something unique & no one else has done. It would be a big deal to me... Nice bus/Home...

This is a very comfy home, in a beautiful location. I would love to live there, if only there was enough storage space for my books and my yarn … and WiFi! No room for a washer/dryer, unfortunately. But for what they had to work with, they certainly made the most of it. Congratulations to the owners/builders! P.S. I love the chairs and hanging table - what a view!
A bit big but so interesting. Like the autonomy of the heat system could it be used in a small home as well? Just to warm up a living-room space during winter? Also interesting to consider the two options for cooking. Space is very well organized. A new point of view for a different life. Buying a bus must be very expensive????? Nice video and very good presentation and filming, thanks.
Just stunning. The brick stove surround could have been done with the 1/2' brick vaneers for weight reduction. I personally would have added solar to it as well and an actual closet + a w/d of some kind.
LOVE it. So breezy, clean and comfy looking. And what a location! On buses/tiny homes that sit for a long time or permanently, does tire rot become an issue/concern?
I own a good size sailboat with a trailer. On the owners group, a few people commented about a mechanic telling them trailer tires should be replaced after about 5 years. Even if not used much. Over time, the tread might look ok but they will still crack and degrade. For putting a big investment into a tiny house on a trailer or vehicle, I think it would be a good idea to have fresh tires if moved regularly. I'll need new tires on my boat trailer if I decided to travel right now. I already had a blow out from a bad tire and all 10k+lbs shaking was unnerving.
Great question! I think people will often put jacks under their tiny houses and buses if they're going to sit for a long time to take the weight off the tires. If someone wants to share specifics of what they do, we'd love to hear it :)
answer fwiw: I own the same bus. It's called an MCI8. I'm also knowledgeable about buses. Anyway. Yes. Tires degrade over time. Mainly cracks on the sides eventually and weather elements mostly desert sun affect that. RV people cover their tires while sitting. The two steering tires up front are the most critical. What effects this is if you are constant roadworthy state. (plan to fire it up or move it.) If not. There are key points in the bus that allow it to be jacked up and worked on for mechanic work like a car. This can be done with 8 ton jacks and bus people use wood blocks. So tires are not needed actually to make it a home. But importantly it needs to be done right for obvious safety issues.

Beautiful home. Not too cluttered but still cosy.
Everything about this home is absolutely amazing. The whole interior is minimum , and cosy and the view is stunning.
