I think it would be a good idea to have both if you can afford it. One could be a daily n the other could be a dedicated track bike or just something to ride to switch it up. 2 is better than 1. Just a thought.
Why wont the pops be there? After the tune? Will the bangs still be there when u let go of throttle and slow down? I just did an ebay exhuast and got rid of the cat and threw on a tip, Essentially doing the same thing that you did but with a name brand of sc project. I rode it last night with a backpack and it did feel hella slow but cant get a tune for a year or so or even a flash. Apprently only thing that can happen is i get less mpg but thats it.👀👀

I’m 6 foot and flat foot most 1000’s with my knees slightly bent, hope that gives you an idea of how tall the bike is vs rider and usually sport bikes have a 30-32 inch seat height, I’d say the BMW S1000’s have the lowest seat height for a liter bike

Put the SC on my MT07. It was pretty loud. After installing the sprint filter and rapid bike module, the loudness increased even more.

They will be. Just not as much. Exhaust with stock ecu mapping just pops a lot
Did you had to install also a specialised software to go with it?
Yes, you need to get your Ecu tuned by a tuner so the bike can run how it’s supposed to after the exhaust install + gain some power
is it alright to be installing an after market exhaust like that before the engine is even finished with it's break-in period?
It ran a little lean but not long enough to hurt anything. Break in is more about heat cycles and setting the rings. Mods wont hurt it🤙🏼

I deleted the system that bring air into the exhaust on my 2017 r1 and the pops were still there after the tune.
Just got her tuned. She still poppin flames so we good🤙🏼😂
