They're going full force with these 2 first episodes to be broadcasted.
My hopes for Liko and Roy are that they develop into their own characters. I wished for a female protagonist and I'm satisfied on that end.
Oh for real, i'm sure we will get even more promo before the 1hour long special is out, as episode 1 is 1hour long and not 2 episodes.
it's definitely the most crucial episodes as well because they need to get fans hooked and find reason to watch this brand new story.
I tottally agree with your hopes, Liko and Roy have the potential to be amazing individual characters that will stand out in the series hopefully this anime will do them justice and again i'm glad we got female protagonists in Liko.

Maybe the crew would go to paldea first for majority of the series, go to a different region and then in the next pokemon anime we visit the gen 10 region

Liko and Amethio are my favorites so far, like I’m so excited to see them in action!! I wanna love Roy too but we barely know anything about him with that 3 seconds screen time and his design is just average to me personally
Nice breakdown and analysis of the new Pokémon Horizon anime trailer. I’m intrigued about the mysteries of Roy and Liko items. What place will they have in Paldea lore I think most of it will be past and some future. Already like some of the new characters.

Hope all of Paldea will be explored and traveling to other regions will be for specific reasons and not some ridiculous filler. We all don’t want Paldea to get Galar treatment for barely not getting any exploration. Also hope Galar get some episodes of adventures needs it’s redemption.

This New Series is going to have a rocky start!☹️
The series is giving me treasure planet vibes and liko necklace is like a compass only points to tera Pokémon while Roy Pokéball will be a map that shows a area and points to legendary Pokémon or something. At least that is what I'm getting from this. Very curious about the person that live streams with quaxly this is a first we had a totally hidden character and they are going to be important since they have this gen starter some people I would like it to be liko friend with osiwatt since she seems important, armethio twin or sibling would love if they have their hair colors switched and they get/have armorouge or my favorite is its lei now 10 studying in kanto where his brother is from and if this is in pallet town even better.

@@shadowwizard2383 You really could be on to something and I very much agree now that you say that i'm getting treasure plant vibes too and it make sense with treasure being the main focus of the SV games and Friede's crew trying to find solve the mysteries of the Pokémon World we can assume it's Friede's Crew vs the Evil explorers who go around the world trying to find tera pokémon or even more rare pokémon.
Now you talked about Amethio and Liko's friends being related and I could very much see that being the case, hair and eye colour they are similar so them being twins or an older and younger brother thing would makes sense, I think your right. I don't think i'm the past they have promoted a side character like this in two trailers 👀
@@AuraZora yeah also we saw the school has all the starter Pokémon and 4 we already know who they belong to sprigatito liko, fuecoco Roy, quaxly nidoking, osiwatt the girl with smoliv hair ties so that makes me wonder is the other starters going to other students in the class and they will be major side characters that have their own crews with a adult. I hope we get crew battles like its a 3v3 so friede battles and wins then liko and Roy battle and lose the point/rank/medal whatever goes to the other crew that would be interesting and everyone has a change to battle multiple times.

That is the Indigo League symbol. Liko is studying in the Indigo boarding school so makes sense that she got an Indigo hairpin. It have nothing to do with Ash. Ash first cap he won it a sortie it's an Indigo League cap. This is mentioned in the episode where he captures Mankey I believe

@@paulevans2962 it doesn't matter who had it. Ash himself in the anime said he won the cap in a sorting event, he sent many letters to get it, and he even says it's an Indigo League cap. It's not a custom made cap, it's not an Ash cap, it's an Indigo League cap. Liko is from Paldea but studying in the Indigo school in Kanto, that's why she had the hairpin with Indigo symbol.

You know that this New Series isn't starting in the Paldea Region right because Liko is in a Boarding School called Sekiei Academy and it's located in the Kanto Region somewhere!?
Finding out that Liko isn't in the Paldea Region completely upset me because they should be focusing less on the Kanto Region all because it got to much time to shine in the previous series and some older Pokemon fans wanted this New Series to start in the Paldea Region!
I'm completely worried that they're going to do the same thing like they did with Pokémon Journeys the Series which Galar Region wasn't fully visited means that the Galar Region was done dirty which can happen again!

why did they remove ash?
I didn't think it is possible to create school uniforms even worse than those in Pokémon Violet, but the anime team made just that. Whareas the uniforms in Violet were bland and uninspiring, these new anime uniforms are outright ugly. The colour, the style, pretty much everything about them is bad. I know the point of school uniforms is to kill any individualism of a students, but still, they took it way too far with these uniforms. I can only hope Liko will switch to her regular clothing we saw in previous promo pics ASAP, because I honestly can't stand these uniforms.
Also sad they gave Roy the ugliest, most uninspiring and overall worst starter of all times, and on top of that, we will have another Fuecoco as part of the blimp crew, while way better starter Quaxky is deemed to be side character's Pokémon. That's totally stupid and sad. But there's not much we can do with it. Still strange decision from writers.
Also, Ceruledge as bad guy's Pokémon gives me bad vibes. That's not treatment this great Pokémon deserves.
Otherwise, though, I am looking forward to this new series and I hope I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Journeys, if not even more.

Quaxly hated? Never saw that. Its evolutions, maybe, though even that is debatable, but Quaxly? No. Some people may hate it, but not the whole fanbase. That's nonsensical generalisation.
And you know, thinking about it now, there's another reason why Roy having Fuecoco is bad idea. In Journeys, Goh and Ash caught most of their Galar Pokémon, including Goh's Galar starter, and even Yamper had a beckstory as a gift to professor Cerise from a friend from Galar. There were few exceptions, like Grookey, who was Team Rocket Pokémon, before Goh caught him, but majority of Galar Pokémon were caught in Galar. However, Roy is from Kanto and lives there, so him having Paldean starter makes no logical sense. I can accept Liko getting Sprigattito in school in Kanto, who has Pokémon from all over the world (though Liko being from Paldea, I can also accept it if she had Sprigattito before she came to school, since this part is still unknown), but Roy isn't student of the school, so, him having Fuecoco and being from and living in Kanto (most likely without traveling oustide his home region) makes absolutely no sense.

What the heck Liko Necklace didn't cause Shiny Rayquaza to Terrastalization because in the previous video we saw Shiny Rayquaza already sparkling around it's body which when I saw that I knew that Shiny Rayquaza is going to be a Tera Raid Pokemon! Besides I'm already disappointed in this New Series!☹️
Liko necklace did cause Shiny Rayquaza to terrastalize at least this trailer does seem to imply that. The necklace does look like a tera crystal as well

I understand where your coming from but i'm sure Liko did cause it terastalizie as you can see the pendant was glowing giving off terastalize energy shooting into the sky where Rayquaza stays and Rayquaza after was shown in crystal form.

I believe that Shiny Rayquaza doesn't appear in the series right away because Trailers can be misleading you!
