If you wondering, text on the box actually in Russian. It's excerpt from not very famous piece called "Roman in letters" by Greatest Russian poet - A. S. Pushkin
Oh thanks! I thought my eyes were really going bad when I couldn't read it. 😉😉
Dragon's Blood sap is also used by luthiers as part of the varnish for violins and allied instruments.
Also,Dragon’s blood resin has been used as an incense for many centuries.
I'm normally not a glitter lover, but they've got some models that are really beautiful that I've been tempted to get. They've got my respect for jazzing up the pen world.
I like Serenity Blue, but this pen would go nicely with Writer's Blood or Oxblood!! So much bling in this pen.!!
Excellent review. But one correction... Dragons are real! Komodo Dragons, Bearded Dragons... just to name a few. These aren't mythical fire breathing but they are a close second.
I have purchased two Benu pens because of your reviews, so thanks for your clear and concise videos!
I draw all my pentagrams with one.
I have the same model/style in broad. I really like it. It's a great writer. I like the uniqueness of Benu pens.
Thanks for the review.
I've been looking at this one or the Foxglove version.
A nice ink to maybe put in is Noodler's Dragon's Napalm (albeit a bit to the orange side).
Another great revue as always!
This is probably the only pen I had to buy the day or came out...i got a medium and Schmidt nibs are so close and wet it pretty much looks like a smaller broad. It's just big enough for my giant hands. Surprisingly comfortable.
Pairs perfect with KWZ Discovery Park among others
Just received my Dragon's Blood. Wonderful pen. I only wish an EF nib was an option.
Cool pen. Thanks
It's a dam fine pen and it's a much better size than some of their other offerings. I like it. Thanks again for another interesting and enjoyable review.
I think this is the first Benu pen that has appealed to me aesthetically - I like it. While I've heard of the Komodo Dragon (real), I've never heard of the Dragon's Blood Tree. It's actually a very interesting tree! -- Thanks for the review.
I love how extra they are.
I have a horror of ordering a pen and having the box arrive empty or the pen smashed. Nice pen!
Beautiful pen, and your writing sample was stellar! Would sure love a $100 price point.
Also, isn’t an unbranded nib more of a dice roll on its writing function?
Thank you for another interesting and engaging review! I don’t think a US$100 steel nib with converter is for me. I would like to hear your thoughts on the new TWSBI swipe, a pen more pitched at the common person (particularly in these difficult times).
I'm sappy about my love of good pens and inks. I'm kind of new, and I don't have any hard fast judgements. I don't have rules other than I have MY OWN rules. I love your candor
I bought my sister a Benu as a gift. Lovely friendly company that make interesting pens
Benu makes fun and affordable pens. This is not my favorite, but it definitely is fun.
Would have liked to see a comparison between the Talisman and Euphoria! Both look more functional than the Briolette, and i'm torn between Talisman Edelweiss and Euphoria French Poetry - mainky because of the form, not the material
now i know to go thru a digital catalog :)
That pen is crying out for Ferris Wheel Press Peppermint Drop.
Nnnnnnnnooooooohhhhhhh, Dragons are not real ?!? 😱😱😱🙏🙏🙏
Yes, this is cyrillic script.
I actually find putting branding on a aftermarket nib very gawddy. Just leave the schmidt pattern or logo please :P
If by "gawddy" you mean "gaudy", your comment makes no sense. If you don't,the comment is even more meaningless.
@@jankafka7330 speaking of meaningless comments LOL
First!! finally !
You forgot to mention HOW they incorporated Dragon's Blood into the pen!
