With Tom DeLonge moving away from Gibson and back to Fender with his new custom Starcaster I just had to get one and try it out!!!
I made this video pretty quickly, just to get it out there. I hope you all enjoy it! Will you get a Starcaster?

I just got one in the mail myself. I plan to give it the Duncan Custom that Tom’s guitars have, but with a Pearly Gates in the neck position as well.

I knew two was the squier simply because the tone was cleaner. And that the gibson with its dirty fingers pu would sound hotter.

The big differences between the normal starcaster, and the one tom plays are the pickups and the neck. Tom had his fitted with a strat neck rather than the starcaster neck. He also had a duncan jb put in. A traditional fender starcaster has wide range humbuckers, but and the affinity, and contermprary squiers do have regular squier branded humbuckers in them
