Maar er zijn niet alleen korte en lange klinkers, het verschil zit er ook in de toon. In de Nederlandse grammatica boekjes noemen se dat *donker* en *helder.* En dat klopt echt, de toon is eigenlijk meer belagrijk dan de duur. Dat geldt net zo voor het Duits, ik wiste dat niet eens.
