How to Seam a Woven Carpet Correctly

Every detail counts when it comes to seaming a woven carpet. Designers, make sure your installers:
1.) Use a sharp blade for a clean cut
2.) Use a seam sealer that dries clear
3.) Use a microwave iron and tractor to seam
4.) Go back and seal any loose ends that could pop up later on.
Missing the mark on just one of these steps can lead to a failed installation of an expensive product.

If seams are done properly you have nothing to worry about even in high traffic areas.

Don't buy kaleen woven is the answer to that, what you just watched is a guys desperate attempts to keep the carpet from falling apart, there are plenty of woven styles that are more stable on a cut edge

Use a approved hot glue gun works way better then latex and you don’t have to touch the edges as much
