@@Prodidawana there are so many people that can learn from a show like that...from how to set up to what legal requirements there are for putting out music (split sheets n stuff) There are many talented artists that get screwed over because they don't have good mentors ...I believe that Mac and Sol are students of the industry...purists. They love the craft. Who better to help mentor the Chillers.

Reason ekasi is so rocking, is because the resident DJs are the promoters and they give each other that space and lessons. They'll take anytime to play. And they play locked tunes, heats.
Tyla is managed by a company called Africa Creative Agency - 100% black owned by a lovely black couple. They are African-American and have been living in South Africa and the US for over 20 years interchangeably. They’re not white. Their names are Colin and Yvette Gale.

Love the team, let me just add: The Met gala is a themed party that raises money for the costume institute. Basically the institute has to finance itself. The gala is like a fashion Halloween party. Before you could buy a ticket but now businesses/fashion labels sponsor a table so they invite guests. Usually the exhibition and gala have the same theme, but this year the exhibition was themed 'sleeping beauty: reawakening fashion' and the gala theme was 'Garden of time'.
