I think you missed the point, charging people 2k for a seminar they can get for free on RUclips is wild. I swear whatever she’s going to talk about at that talk is something that people can easily access for free on RUclips/Social Media, only difference is you’ll be hearing it from Nonhle this time for 2k. For example on the phone call she said some of knowledge she’ll be sharing will be about God and Christianity and like Sol said, all you have to do to get the same knowledge is just go to Church and listen to a preacher for way way way way less than 2k. I can also bet you an arm and a leg that everything else she’s going to talk about, there’s a RUclips video about it. Information is very much free and accessible online it just comes at a cost of you dedicating time and effort to find it.

its never that you cant find the information from YT, its more of the social interactions you get being in a room with someone who has gone through what you are going through and has made it to the other side. Take YT theroay channels vs actual therapy, the reason why the latter works ( not to say the former doesn't) is because of the social interaction, where you get to ask questions unique to yourself and your situation...where you get to feel a sense of being in a community of like minded individuals who share the same goals and aspirations.
Id call this the 3rd dimension of public speaking/seminars...that unfortunately, digital interactions(through social media) fails to provide.

I get your argument or side. You make a whole lot of sense. I'd like to point out that Sol made those comments from his own perspective. In his statements he said he gets the title and content of the "seminar". However he believes that it's a rip off. He himself wouldn't pay nor charge for such. He is entitled his own opinion. He just doesn't believe in the manner She is dishing out the info more specifically the charge. He wasn't throwing shade to her and the story.

Im not a fan of Nonhle Themba but i like how she defended herself about her hustle and i truly believe she still got it.
As smart as Sol is, one thing that he must learn is to lose an argument, because he often ends up looking dumb. Yes they were laughing about Nonhle, even I was, but as soon as she spoke and clearly made sense, everyone including Mac understood & admitted she was making sense…but classic Sol he wanted to have the final “intellectual word.”
It’s okay to just admit that you were wrong and schooled. He sometimes listens not to understand but respond - & it’s sad coming from someone who was talking about reinventing yourself in the same episode. Let’s not shame people for trying, we have lost too many to suicide due to hopelessness.

This episode resonated with me especially the part about DJing as a passion because I have a very close friend of mine (DJ Hlogi) who has been making mixes for years! In 2020 when COVID hit, he created a WhatsApp group where he started uploading his mixes and we've been enjoying them every Friday from 2020 to this day! Never missed a single Friday! I hope people like MacG who are all about uplifting talent could give his mixes a listen. The boy is HELLA GOOD! He just hasn't gotten his break!
