Thanks for posting this enjoyable set. Kayama Yuzo sounds great with his Mosrite style guitar. Gerry --then Nokie sound great without stepping on each other's toes. Bob and Don give the best back up you can get. Mel Taylor's son, Leon does a great job on the drums (Mel passed away in 1996).
I don't know why NOkie and gerry didn't tour more together. they were all ventures and it sounds great. Maybe there was some friction? I have no idea about that though........two great guitarists. Hell, bob was great too. and don was a great rhythm player....

For some unknown reason, The Ventures never seem to use reverb when playing "Black Sand Beach"
