Hey guys! If you didn’t know this, Luke’s boat he just bought for $70,000 hard earned dollars was illegally boarded and completely vandalized and trashed THE SAME NIGHT HE BOUGHT IT overnight at the marina. Authorities are working to provide justice in that regard already. While there are no legitimate fundraisers online (don’t get scammed) he is selling tshirts online to abate the costs of repairs and machinery that was stolen, vandalized, or broken with hammers, crowbars, etc. As you can see, he works tooth and nails for every penny and this was an act of hatred and pure evil. Please support if you can and show some support for him and his crew and family. He deserves it. ❤
I just looked and saw that Brad only has 291K Subs............. How is that possible. He was the only reason I watched the last channel he was on and immediately followed him here.
criminally low given the apparently loyal following on his previous channel. Inertia is strong, but to criticize Brad's team i dont think they're doing as great as job on exposure and youtube algo shenanigans as they are on production value - it took me a good while to stumble onto this channel, way after I unsubbed from *that* one
As someone who lives and works on the Eastern Shore of VA, this episode makes me so happy! I have been following Luke for a long time and glad to see the Chesapeake Bay getting some notice 💕

This series is really finding it's stride. Every new episode builds upon the last and keeps getting better. Big shout out to Brad and Ian and HUGE shout out to all the local legends doing their part to provide sustainable solutions.
When I talk about blue crabs I’m talking about my culture growing up. My favorite food. Loved this episode! Keep up the great work with this series. It’s a breath of fresh air in today’s world.
As a person from chesapeake beach maryland I've been following luke for about 2 years now and also during the bridge collapse he was a very good advocate and gave a great perspective on the situation. Im glad he's getting recognition.
Luke is true inspiration to listen to! And Brad did an amazing job showing off his occupation and the many hurdles of the vulnerable ecosystem they have to manage! Thanks Luke, thanks Brad ❤ Also huge props to your editor!
@@barbaravilmanyi812 Luke is a rockstar, and he's a rockstar because he's immediately authentic and unassuming, and just passionate about the thing he does without putting on airs. Hell yeah.
Finally!! Been waiting for this collab to happen! Have been following these two good guys for a long time. Lukes story is great for this generation to hear.
My dad’s family is from Baltimore so we’ve all grown up eating crab, it’s so great to see the process for catching these crabs as well as the future of the bay!
You need to be careful though, many commercial fishermen will say they are concerned about the resources but then are incredibly antagonistic and skeptical of what the scientists are saying in terms of regulation. Just saying that you care about the health of the population isn’t enough.
No clue who Brad Leone is. What a great video. Just watched the Barstool Outdoor video with Luke. Although good there’s a night and day difference. This guy did his homework before he got to the boat. Was engaging and professional. Plus the editing and added graphics and supporting information is phenomenal. Well done!
Discovery and Animal planet can learn a thing or two from Brad and his team, Local Legends always blow me away, ty you so much. And Luke you doing a stellar job.
I feel like these shows are becoming this generations PBS, WETA, the Outdoor Life Network, etc. It's actually really great. I love it. It's hilarious, the places they go and people they meet are awesome. Just really cool.

This was so informative, and the story beautifully told. Thanks to all involved for such an insightful, yet entertaining piece of work. Y'all rock, and long live the blue crab!
I'm a long time follower of Luke and this video is dope! The quality is absolutely fantastic. So cool seeing him and aj like this! Also really great video!
Love the crossroads of science and traditional profession here. And glad to see Luke here! I followed him in-between the Test Kitchen and Local Legends eras, and thought he'd make a great fit with Brad on a video.
Great video!! Very well done......Luke is "special"!! Bless his heart....LOL....JK!! He cares more than the people that are supposed to care. Eating crabs is the best.
Luke was featured in episode '218: The Waterman' of the Bear Grease podcast. Listening to him talk and tell his story was super interesting. Seeing that Brad connected with him is great because it allows me it see the life he talked about on that episode.
Great video. I've been watching Luke for a few months now but he doesn't do much to explain the process in his day to day videos - I'm sure I could find something if I went back to his older videos, but this video helped fill in the holes. Gave me a higher appreciation for what he does. Can't afford to order his crabs online... But I have a sister in Maryland, I've told her about the channel and recommended she visit his crab stand.
I always heard stories of crabbing growing up -- my grandpa was a crab fisherman on the Chesapeake in the Northern Neck of VA many, many years ago. It was really cool to get a peak into the work and culture of the folks doing this kind of work. Awesome stuff :)
Gotta admit -- after I started watching and then realized that this wasn't going to be a typical chaotic and funny Brad-type episode, I was tempted to find something else, but it turned out to be a tremendously informative and entertaining video. Well done, all!

What a great video. Humorous with a whole lotta interesting science and detail. Learned a lot about a fine trade in my own backyard. TY and here's hoping Luke has a string of GOOD luck for the foreseeable future.
What a great video and lesson on so many subjects. The stages that. Crabs go through is so well done and understandable that I want to go back and review it.
Luke is the social media “influencer” we need more of. Been a fan of both you guys for a while and throughly enjoyed the collab!

Brad needs a travel show on Netflix asap
nah, he'd lose his freedom of just doing it his way. The producers would have their own image that he just wouldn't into.
