The other heroic thing about James Shaw? The day after the Waffle House Shooting he started a fund for the victims that raised more than $240,000.00 in less than 1 month. Some talk, others do... Thank you Mr. Shaw. You may not have been trying to be a hero when you wrestled the gun away; but you were definitely showing who and what you are when you started the fund.

This brought tears to my eyes. I went to college with a victim from the shooting, so it hits close to home. Absolutely incredible that he honored this man and what he did for those at the Waffle House, and the example he set for the community. What a true hero, the both of them.

Chadwick was someone who faught a unwinnable battle and still helped those who needed it. He was a man who faught stereotypes, a man who changed movie history. A man who was humble and became a icon. When his passing came out. Tears came down my face, not only in shock, but in happiness of how through his battle with colon cancer, became a hero we needed. His legacy will stay strong. He is our friend, our hero, our king, our Black Panther.
