I played in a pool tournament tonight. It's a weekly tournament I have previously lost disastrously. yet, tonight, I won 5 games in a row, losing to the winner at last to gain 2nd place... I went in thinking the only one who can beat me is myself... This turned out to be the case, as I know the other guy had the same mind set. But I am proud of myself all the same. 4 weeks into these tournaments, I won 2nd place amongst the best players in town. The difference between tonight and the last 3 weeks, is, I believed I could win tonight. Some may say 2nd place is the first loser, yet I believe 2nd place is the first chance to see potential in myself. Should be noted, this is a Monday night weekly tournament, but all the same, MY name is on the wall this week.... I have spent months trying to show this particular group my worth.... Now they see I am more than words.... MUCH LOVE.... What you believe matters for your reality....
1) Watch yourself like you are watching a stranger Like your emotions, why am I angry etc. understand them from a distance We suffer more often in imagination than in reality - misconceptions and overreactions 2) Accept yourself completely The good, bad and ugly - accept your whole self without denial or overfocusing on the negative Love the people that fate brought to you with all your heart Exercise: write down your own strengths and weaknesses Without judgement but as a map to yourself > areas for growth Self-acceptance and self-improvement - understanding yourself and having compassion Don’t be someone else but the best version of yourself 3) Challenge yourself continuously Start small > step out of comfort zone - like a muscle, rest and exercise No great thing is created suddenly - small steps Want to be more patient - hold back in conversations Want to be more fit - small daily walk Exercise: what is a small thing you want to improve Celebrate the tiny victories Stepping stones for greater achievements Every big journey starts with a first step 4) Compare yourself to who you were yesterday not to others today You have power over your mind - not outside events - and you will find strengths by looking at your progress Exercise: every night reflect on your day - what did u do better today than yesterday - small things Did you eat a healthier meal etc. > journal it and look back at your victories It is your unique journey 5) Take responsibility for yourself Your thoughts, actions and life You steer your life Owning our own journey - this is my path and I am responsible for walking it You always choose your response to things Look for improvements and changes Challenges are opportunities to grow 6) Choose your influence wisely People and situations Be cautious of your inputs > like books, social media etc. 7) Say yes to only what matters Our time, energy and attention are the most valuable to us Align actions to values > actions in line to what we want to achieve Do not fill time with busyness but be aware of how you spend your time > Daily activities Balance and intentionality Quality over quantity 8) Make others better Uplift others Positive ripple effect Opportunities for kindness everywhere > community improvement Small acts of support Bonus tip: Daily journalling habit > write down your thoughts and feelings, opportunity to reflect and communicate with yourself

Stoicism is a philosophy that teaches individuals to focus on what they can control, accept what they cannot change, and find contentment in the present moment. It emphasizes cultivating inner resilience and maintaining a calm, rational mindset in the face of challenges. Many find that practicing stoicism can contribute to a sense of happiness and fulfillment by fostering a positive perspective on life. Thank you for reading this 🤍

Journaling is good. I don't do it every day but record dreams. But I think I may attempt a daily write helping me not focus on judgment but bring more understanding to my actions for clarity and self-love. Thanks for the words of these masters.
I’m happy with who I am. I sleep at night.I try to lead a clean selfless truthful life ever since I can remember. It is hard with so many temptations, but I avoid temptations except for chocolate and other of my favorite foods. I don’t drink and I eat healthy. Food is my medicine and herbal teas. People think your stupid and like to use you when you don’t follow the crowd. I don’t care what they think but they get annoyed with me and pull their bulling tactics. They try to make me the villain. And try to say I go against authorities. That is not the case. I went to Catholic school and was educated very good and how to avoid bad decisions and how to have humility and how-to love yourself the right way. And how to love sincerely and be kind. The real world is more unkind then good. But it makes no impression on me. I prefer the good life clean and clear headed. Maybe someday my rewards will come. I’m still waiting. But I’m at peace with myself. Most people do not understand me they think I’m stupid. ❤ I think I love myself the right way ❤And I accept myself of who I am. .
Watching this will make me understand more about myself and bring acknowledgement to myself and the important people in my life!! Thank you so much for this!!! 🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️

Watch yourself like you're watching a stranger! That powerful!
The greatest gift I have given myself, is to be my own refuge
1) Watch yourself like you are watching a stranger
Like your emotions, why am I angry etc. understand them from a distance
We suffer more often in imagination than in reality - misconceptions and overreactions
2) Accept yourself completely
The good, bad and ugly - accept your whole self without denial or overfocusing on the negative
Love the people that fate brought to you with all your heart
Exercise: write down your own strengths and weaknesses
Without judgement but as a map to yourself > areas for growth
Self-acceptance and self-improvement - understanding yourself and having compassion
Don’t be someone else but the best version of yourself
3) Challenge yourself continuously
Start small > step out of comfort zone - like a muscle, rest and exercise
No great thing is created suddenly - small steps
Want to be more patient - hold back in conversations
Want to be more fit - small daily walk
Exercise: what is a small thing you want to improve
Celebrate the tiny victories
Stepping stones for greater achievements
Every big journey starts with a first step
4) Compare yourself to who you were yesterday not to others today
You have power over your mind - not outside events - and you will find strengths by looking at your progress
Exercise: every night reflect on your day - what did u do better today than yesterday - small things
Did you eat a healthier meal etc. > journal it and look back at your victories
It is your unique journey
5) Take responsibility for yourself
Your thoughts, actions and life
You steer your life
Owning our own journey - this is my path and I am responsible for walking it
You always choose your response to things
Look for improvements and changes
Challenges are opportunities to grow
6) Choose your influence wisely
People and situations
Be cautious of your inputs > like books, social media etc.
7) Say yes to only what matters
Our time, energy and attention are the most valuable to us
Align actions to values > actions in line to what we want to achieve
Do not fill time with busyness but be aware of how you spend your time >
Daily activities
Balance and intentionality
Quality over quantity
8) Make others better
Uplift others
Positive ripple effect
Opportunities for kindness everywhere > community improvement
Small acts of support
Bonus tip: Daily journalling habit > write down your thoughts and feelings, opportunity to reflect and communicate with yourself
Thank you very much for your videos!

Some of the quotes that really got me. Truly amazing video.
Imagine you are watching a movie where you are the main character how would you critique the actions and choices of this character
This shift in perspective allows you to see yourself more objectively helping you identify habits and reactions that might not align with who you want to be
When you look in the mirror you sometimes only focus on the flaws it’s easy to do that with our personalities too fixating on our mistakes or the parts of us that we don’t like this constant self criticism creates an inner narrative that’s far from kind -made me tear up
Self acceptance means empowering yourself to evolve from a place of understanding and compassions
Compare yourself to who you were yesterday
The only fair comparison is the person you were yesterday
Recognize that each day brings you to the person you aspire to be
Start by identifying areas of your life where you’ve been placing blame elsewhere it might be in your relationships or your personal goals
Now ask yourself how can I take more responsibility in these areas
It’s about recognizing your power to change things-Story of my life blaming others
If a project at work isn’t going well instead of blaming the team consider what you can do differently to improve the situation
The sense of control and self respect that you gain by taking responsibility for your life is profound and transformative
Choose what we allow to influence us-taking responsibility
Intentionally cultivating an environment that supports your journey
Living truly means making choices that resonate with who we are and what we want to achieve not just filling our time with busyness -amazing
