We got to sit down with Mark Latham who has been writing the rules for The Walking Dead: All Out War and played a game using their current rules. We're learning about the basics of the game and finding out if we can survive against the undead hordes AND other survivors.

Well, I have to admit that Mantic knows how to make a ruleset that's easy to learn and tactically interesting.
Warren had me in stitches there at the end with the ice cream van blurring out Its a small world 😂 great to watch the game play out.
I still have not received my Dungeon Saga Pledge so its kinda hard for me to back this game even tho I would love to.

Just watched the 50 minutes of Let´s Play The Walking Dead.
What a big prommise of garanteed fun evenings
You can just see now how tabletop gaming grows on people. Few years back if you told me 'board game' I would think Monopoly now... Imperial Assault or Myth or ZOMBICIDE. Zombie theme is very popular now in all media. You will find it from movies though books, comics, TV series (based on comic series :) to games, those on screen and on the table. Even just looking on tabletop games the choice we have is amazing : co-op, competitive, solitaire, board, dice, card, and finally MINIATURES. This time ALL OUT WAR. Total annihilation. Strongest survives. BUT... if zombies are controlled by AI why not try co-op? What about narrative play Mantic is mentioning? This game will be with us for long ride.
Twinkies are fine, just not snowballs. I don't like coconut.
Not the taste, it's the texture of it.
Sometimes I wish they would just shut up and play the game so we can see how it works.

I second that. Though it is unintentionally funny how the big dude makes such a huge deal discussing strategy before he even takes his first move in ANY game they play.
Seems to be an interesting mix between zombicide and imperial assault. I'm curious to see how well it scales with more models and a bigger board.
I am so glad Mantic got the Walking Dead license. I can't wait to play it.
Might have to break out the zombicide minis and playtest this at the local club.
Walking Dead is looking great now that we have a zombie Ronnie, still hoping for Warren, Justin, & an ice cream truck.
Poor Justin sees that he is unprepared for the oncoming apocalypse.

the competitive side loves this game and the idea of a comic made game thats not a board game. also a great way for me to get into the comics and tv show.
If I was ever to win a prize, THIS is the one I'd want. The Walking Dead game looks great. Amazing.
the game looks fun and quick. i am happily suprised at the layers of strategy i was able to see in just the one demo. looking forward to this game.
My wife likes to blame my tactics in zombicide if something goes wrong, i really need this game to go head2head and show her whos boss! :-)
The noise and panic mechanics look a tonne of fun.

The Walking Dead is looking very promising. It might actually be the first minis game I can convince my other half to try (she really enjoys the tv show).

I loved watching the video. I jumped on the KS day one, but I've been on the fence a little bit as I'm not usually a war game style gamer and didnt know if this would fit in my niche but I'm sold after watching the video. Will deffinetly keep my EB pledge, thanks guys!
Does seem pretty simple to grasp rules wise. Could be good for those 'non-wargamer' acquaintances.
I have been following this game on Kickstarter but am not sure I can commit at this point. I backed the Battle Systems Apocalypse terrain KS recently (which is why I have no money) and this game would be great on that.
Can someone explain why those zombies (when fighting in pairs) got to roll 3 dice?

The funding is still going a bit slow [given the IP], but the value is definitely getting up there!

This makes me feel much better about my pledge. I really like the simple mechanics and it being my first miniatures game. I love the idea of custom terrain.
One question about the game. At the end of the first turn. Justin shot one of the zombies. Wouldn't that have caused the other zombies. (Within range) to move towards him? Maybe you guys catch this or discuss it later in the video but I just had to pause the video and ask, before I forgot. :) Now...... back to the video.
Agree on the quality, my intrawebz speed is crap so I download at the highest res and watch the videos on the telly as a weekend treat, best download res is 360p ..... bleurgh

This looks cool. I am interested in seeing what updates will come out. I do feel like the pace is a bit quick. I wonder how the expansions will impact it. Just enjoyed my Bday on Feb. 12th!

im a huge fan of the mars attacks tabletop game from mantic games (painted all the figures in two weeks)and i would love to get the walking dead tabletop game!

Despite never reading or watching Walking Dead, I'm following the kickstarter. And I have no money at all to put into it. Im turning into some sort of kickstarter stalker I think...
you could almost use some of this for a weird war bolt action zombie game
will the solo play be as good , without the other player ? i think the game will lose some of the tactical aspects unless there are some different solo missions

the minis look amazing just like the comic version
but another one to look out for is project z from warlords using the wargames factory minis that should be truly awesome especially as the kits come with so much options so you can customise your own survivors
