NEW Nintendo Switch Coming in 2019?

So it appears the the rumors are swirling around the business again, this time about Nintendo Switch. It seems that the Japanese gaming company could be bringing a whole new refresh to the Nintendo Switch Platform, similar in nature to what Sony Interactive Entertainment did to the PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro) System and Microsoft Studio's Xbox One X System. This updated Switch would be better suited to compete against not only the PS4 and Xbox One, but the upcoming PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Next Xbox systems too!

- Switch mini: Would make sense to release first. A handheld budget version of the system that does everything the normal Switch can do. Only thing this version does somewhat different is a special cable (or dock) that lets you play Switch games on the TV and the kickstand is better. Normal Joy-Con support and Switch Pro Controller support is still a thing with this model.
- Switch Pro: Would make sense to release around the time the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett become all the rage. Specs would be on par (or at least close) to PS4 and Xbox One, the kickstand would have two parts instead of just one to make it better, this version of the system would have better battery life, better storage (at least 64GB or more), slightly bigger screen, and maybe new versions of the Joy-Cons to address some problems that some folks had with the original versions.
this seems really logical, except for the Switch Mini. I think that we don't need an smaller version of the console.
But the pro one sounds really interesting and strategical to release it with the PS5 and Scarlet. Maybe we can get a new custom tegra chip like a heavily customized Xavier cpu, and that would give the Switch a power of the PS4 and a little beyond.
1080P will be no problem on portable mode with the current dock settings or even better, since the power will be there and Xavier is much more efficient than X1
They did the same thing for the 3DS 4 years ago with the"new 3DS"
My only problem with the switch is it is too underpowered, it is the only reason why Monster Hunter World is not on the switch. I do not think it will be released for at least a year from now
An underpowered Nintendo console/portable hybrid can only go so far...

The problem is that such a big power improvement is a little too soon.
I mean, a new switch capable of compete with PS5 and Scarlet sounds like a new console overall.

I'm still wondering if the new nintendo switch will be able to get (ALL) of the 3rd party games from the PS5 and the upcomming XBOX consoles in the 9th generation of video games...

Intro music? Also, the Nvidia Tegra in the Switch isn't an 'APU' as it has nothing to do with AMD, so it can just be called an SOC.
This great for Nintendo but i wish Sony or Microsoft would come out with something like the switch if this is true it should be able to play both first and third party games

No it's not
Nobody can predict what Nintendo will do next. I doubt however that they will ever compete power-wise. Power only helps if it adds functionality (eg n64’s 3D rendering over snes). Making the switch slightly more powerful won’t meaningfully change the functionality or the fun factor and will just make the existing user base shitty. Doesn’t sound worth it from a marketing standpoint.
This trend of upgrading hardware mid lifecycle is a bane to console gaming

It's a pretty ballsy move from Nintendo if it's true. It would segment their fans in the same way different mobile phone iterations segment people being able to text but some folks can take nicer photos. They can all play Nintendo games, but some of the third party games are better on the newer iteration. Either way, most folk upgrade eventually. It's quite aggressive. Reminds me of 80's Nintendo! I bought my Switch day one, I'll upgrade day one too, I love it lol.
