@@lonefox I love your projects and videos. And I enjoy the music you play when you are making the project. But when the repetitive music is playing while you are talking, it can be really distracting from what you are saying. Wondering if you could leave that out or take the volume down on that? If it's there for a purpose that I'm not understanding that benefits your channel, of course, ignore me. :)

I love the way Drew styles objects. He can take the most mundane objects and create intrigue, drama, & charisma. That’s some talent.

Well yes but everything Drew creates is Off White, Beige 1, Beige 2 or Black. Not tricky to throw him with a bit of colour. For the project though it looked fabulous in black.

Ur insanely creative. That lampshade looks so chic...but what blew off my mind was the storage box. Where the hell did u get the idea of a distressed mercury mirror on a storage box from??...totally crazy. I love the results. Way to go Drew❤️

The lamp would look better if you used a bunch of the smaller section. Then the overlap becomes a pattern
Exactly what I was thinking, only more along the lines of 'what would it look like if he just wrapped all three place mats around, overlapping? then you'd have little triangle things all over the shade.'
Can you please explain what you mean? Because I wanna recreate it 🙈
@@mialuna2496 I think she meant is to cut up the place mat into smaller sections and glue them on, because that way you can account for the angle and the tilt will not become so obvious in the end as it can go all the way around in equal parts.

I’m always amazed by your creativity! I absolutely love the lamp shade, such a unique piece to add to any room 🥰
This reminded me--many years ago I thrifted some bamboo blinds--a very large version of the little placemats you used. They were faded and one end of the blinds was sort of unraveling. I used weed clippers to cut the damaged ends off (and sawed off a bit of the bamboo), spray painted the whole thing black, and hung it in the window in my apartment. It was so cheap and looked very cool.

Really enjoying the collab! The wallpaper looks like the anaglyptic wall paper they use on ceilings to paint over so look like the old tin ceilings.
