I wonder what they're going to talk about next year! And Celestia, I hope this is, like I said in the video, packed with Envoy Age info. Though, I think Celestia is going to have a bigger role during either Dainsleif's quest or when Pretrichor is released, since it's almost above it. We can actually get right underneath the floating island in Fontaine, so it won't be long now!!! I want to go up there and see the prison/arena/theater! By the way, that's probably where Egeria was being kept prisoner after she turned the Oceanids into humans. That is if they keep the concept they showed in the manga...
I’m impressed by how you were able to locate landmarks in the background. I’m fascinated with the border areas in the game, whether that’s borders between nations or borders between playable and unplayable areas, but even though I was very familiar with all the places you mentioned and have spent a lot of time there, I didn’t notice any of them in the livestream. I’ve even been taking pictures in those areas recently so I can compare them before and after the update and still didn’t recognize them. I would like an insight of Orobashi’s past before fleeing to Enkanomiya. Not only does his past point to Liyue but so does the alternative spelling of his name, Orobaxi, which follows a more Chinese transliteration. Several names of places, things, and people have been corrected after release, but Orobaxi has remained, so I do think it’s an intentional way of showing his connection to Liyue. The other possibility I can see about that ancient god is Xiao’s previous master. Even though this Lantern Rite doesn’t seem to feature him, he’s still rerunning and has a history with Lantern Rite. Xiao’s ability to manipulate, enter, and eat dreams and Chenyu Vale’s proximity to Sumeru, especially Mawtiyima Forest, does also suggest a strong connection to dreams.

In this case, it was easier, since it's a new region between three that we know. I also love the unreleased sections of the map, because it's funny to see how things change completely! Orobashi is a very interesting god, if they gave us something more about him, it would be amazing. He does sound like a loving god, since he sacrificed himself to save an entire nation, but who was Orobashi before then? Oh, about the place that changed name, do you thing that Changsheng meant Yaodie when she said Mt. Yaojun in her backstory video? Xiao's master is actually another possibility, but we know that Zhongli defeated him, so it doesn't sound like he died in a foreign land. I guess we will see, if the actually give us info about the old god that ruled over Chenyu Vale!
@@ShadowXImpactOh I wasn’t pointing to a specific sample of a name change in 4.4, I was just pointing out that several name changes have happened throughout the game, like the Gilded Brigade becoming the Eremites, Iwakura Doukei becoming Iwakura Michihiro, Kazari becoming Hanachirusato, Byakuya no Kuni becoming Byakuyakoku, etc.. Orobashi’s variant spelling, Orobaxi, was never changed or corrected, and still exists in the game alongside the Orobashi version, which I thought was interesting. If it wasn’t intentional I don’t think it would have survived this long. Now, Orbashi’s name in the Chinese version is Àoluóbāsī, which is close enough, but I think they might have just settled on Orobaxi because it sells the idea that it’s Chinese while still resembling Orobashi enough.

I don’t know if it’s what Changsheng meant since Yaodie is a valley and Yaojun is a mountain, but I checked and the “Yao” is the same “Yao” in both Yaodie and Yaojun. I also ended up seeing that Yaojun is actually Herblord’s name in Chinese, which I didn’t know before.

It's Furina being Hu Tao's client that's strange and worrying, but also how Furina and Zhongli are going to interact with each other, considering everything that happened in Fontaine... I will always have enough primogems for Arlecchino, I basically decided I wanted her since the Winter Night's Lazzo video! Great video as always! 🤩 I’m 90% sure that the empty space left after Chenyu vale is actually Petrichor island also!. We know from the npc in Sumeru that Bayda Harbor is here, but most of Remurian Lore and geography comes from south Fontaine. A belltower in petrichor is the key to connect with Remuria, I think is the same tower from books (fall of remuria and faded castle). As you said in a comment, Remuria’s center was in mt. Capitolium, but we also known that most of past geography was destroyed or sunk by the cataclysm.
I don't think Petrichor is in the south, because Remus came from the east and the geography of Remuria seems to go from east to Mt. Capitolium, so either the tower or the arena (I don't remember the name) should be east. Also, right now there's literally nothing between in that area I highlighted, while the place I think it's Petrichor is an elevated lake with a little island in the middle. If the town is on that island, it would explain why you can see the great waterfall from the windows of the daydream club building, and they say it's an amazing view, so they have to be close to it. Furthermore, Petrichor has to be closer to Fontaine because of Remuria. If it was closer to Sumeru, it wouldn't really make sense, right? Anyway, I don't think we will have to wait too long before we can visit Petrichor. I guess it's going to be either 4.5 or 4.6, since 4.8 is the summer event, and 4.7 would be too late.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun trying to figure out where the places are going to be and looking for them on the unreleased map!! I actually didn't do this for Sumeru, but it's probably because I was just starting with this channel and I didn't really know what I wanted to do or how I wanted my videos to be back then. Though, I can imagine the "everything is connected" style of the map XD
I also lost the 50/50 on Navia‘s banner, but I‘m kind of glad because I like building characters with unusual builds, like Xinyuan and all atk% artifacts, can‘t wait
I really like Navia's design, that's why I actually want ed her, I think she and Tighnari have the best design in the game, but considering that I'm getting Xinyuan guaranteed, it's okay. I certainly don't like building characters, though. That's the thing I hate the most. I built 9 characters the right way, and I don't think I'll ever want to gk through that ever again XD
I like your changsheng theory although I feel like they would probably save such a story for another baizhu quest which doesn't come out in the upcoming patch
Yes, Baizhu is not a main character in 4.4, but the main adeptus of this lantern rite is Fujin, not Changsheng, so the story will focus on Fujin, while giving us hints about who the herblord is. And by the way, in Changsheng backstory video, the doctor was looking for the Herblord at their abode in Chenyu Vale, but she found changsheng, so that alone feels like a confirmation. Then, when Baizhu's second character quest comes out, they will connect the dots and complete the story from this lantern rite
I do hope though that the reveal wont be linked to a time limited quest (lantern rite) but to a permanent quest such as the upcoming chenyu vale world quest cause otherwise it would really suck for people that wont have the chance to play the event to only to be able to get important information regarding changsheng from Videos.

I’m gonna pull for nahidas weopon and maybe cloud retainer if I have spare wishes but I’m not as interested in getting her since she’s primarily a support xiao mostly so I’m gonna save until 4.6 and 4.7 when arlecheeno and clorinde get released also the recent drama of genshins rewards has had me exhausted a lot of people keep saying it’s because of the devs, but it’s really because of the producer for genshin apparently he’s the same producer produced hi3 and when he left hi3 got better rewards so I’m hoping genshins current producer gets fired because I’m tired of all the shit rewards at first i didn’t care but ever since fr ratio was a free event character for star rail im starting to feel highly mistreated also in the special program one of the devs has a book on there desk talking about Mayan and Aztecs history I think so at least we know there doing there research for natlans culture inspiration plus I was really hoping liben would give us lore on natlan but instead, we got him rambling about the stars and some shit maybe that has potential relevance I don’t know but liben disappointed me and now he’s not a op npc anymore 4.8 is our last chance since every summer event hints to the next nations archon quest so it better be good I want to think in 4.8 we will have the golden apple archipelago event back or something entirely new I kinda want deyha and xinyan to be apart of 4.8 event because my personal theory is that there origins come from natlan since deyha was adopted and xinyan is the only liyue character with dark skin plus they’re both Pyro coincidentally and deyhas constellation is that of a lion i think lions may only be native to natlan id also like it if benny is in 4.8 events since he’s most likely natlantian and the fact he looks so similar to lansan so have all three of them or at the very least xinyan and benny would be nice they seem the most likely if im right then 4.8 would be a pyro fest which would be funny but when I’m really trying to say is I want klee, kazuha, deyha, xinyan, benny, keaya, and maybe venti to be in 4.8 at least two of them should be seen we already know Kylee’s gonna be in it since she always reruns at the summer events
I don't remember if you play star rail, but compared to genshin impact, we get fewer free characters in star rail, so getting Dr. Ratio for free isn't really that strange. I honestly don't feel mistreated at all, and I certainly wouldn't want the producer, who is making a great job with the game, to be fired just because they didn't give us a free 5star character... Are we playing a game or are we collecting characters? They are definitely researching the Maya and the Aztecs, but I guess they've been doing so since before Fontaine was even released. Creating a whole story and a whole nation is not a walk in the park. Lieben was underwhelming, especially since he doesn't even want to go to Natlan, so that feels like he was saying "you're not getting info, not even from me this time". 4.8, on the other hand, has to hint at Natlan for sure, but I guess we will have learned something more before then, hopefully. The golden Archipelago would be nice indeed. Realistically speaking, we would want Bennet in the summer event, since he is the only Natlaner we know... If it's the Archipelago, then Klee is most likely to be there, and since she's a child, she need someone with her. But apart from that, I don't really know who could come this time. Maybe Furina, since she's basically everywhere and in every single update.
its sad that baizhu's lore is mentioned everywhere when it comes to chenyu vale but he wont even be mentioned in any of the quest or dialogue for lantern rite :( hoyo rlly hates him ig
That's something I thought about, since he doesn't even show up in the trailer, but Baizhu has always appeared in every single lantern rite, so I think he will make an appearance regardless, just like Xiao most likely will. They didn't show us the name of the one who was speaking in the trailer, so they may be keeping Baizhu and Changsheng's appearance a secret, too.
Excellent video! I love how you predict so much without any leak. Also, I was wondering, Both Dragonspine and Tsurumi Island murals depict celestia being right above them. Does that mean celestia actually moves? This also aligns with what Vannessa says about celestia being closer than before in the webtoon. Now that we know that celestia over Chenyu Vale, what could this imply? Like, I know that the heavenly principles are "asleep" so perhaps there won't be any nailing going around, yet I have my doubts. As you said maybe we might get some info from Dain. Or... maybe I'm just overthinking it and the the representation of celestia in the murals was just a stylistic choice. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! With that said, I think Celestia is finally going to take some action from now on. We are halfway through the story and they've lost one of the seven archons, Tsaritsa and fatui are upto some shady stuff with 6 out of 7 gnoses in their hands, and one of the dragon sovereigns has regained authority. I guess things are about to go down in Natlan.

Now, it's not above Chenyu Vale, since we can go right underneath it in Fontaine, so it's more likely for it to be over Pretrichor, which is connected to Remuria. When it comes to the heavenly principles, I don't think they are on the floating island, they should be outside Teyvat, in what has been called the Celestia atlas, the place we see every time we start the game, but also where we met susty. Still, the floating island is very important and the people of Chenyu Vale talk about these messenger of the cerulean sky, so they will probably be connected to the Envoy Age somehow. I don't think the representation on the murals to be a stylistic choice, that's for sure. Realistically, the heavenly principles should start doing something, since their place is now threatened by one too many enemies, among which Neuvillette, but from a story development point of view, if the heavenly principles made a move, we would figure most of Teyvat out in an instant. The fact that we know so little is especially because we don't know who the heavenly principles are (although I think I think the are like 3 shades-like beings created by the second who came). This also means that they will probably act when we get to Snezhnaya, especially because I think (and it would make sense) that we will keep the Pyro gnosis and we will be giving it to the Tsaritsa on our own free will. If she got all 7 gnoses in 5.3, why would she wait 5 updates before doing something with it? And why would we wait 5 updates before going to Snezhnaya when we know that she has all 7 gnoses? It doesn't take a genius to understand that she will be trying something crazy, a cataclysm level intentional event, so, again realistically, Aether would just run to Snezhnaya to stop her instead of spending so long in Natlan....

@@anka8754 So, I don't really think Orobashi had been allowed to go back to the leylines because he was killed to prevent his knowledge about the Primordial One from spreading. If he went back to the leylines, his knowledge would be reused, and the Heavenly Principles can't afford that. So, I don't think he was able to come back to life as changsheng. As for Fujin, she was already a fish when she sank and never came back to the surface, but I do agree that Xiao's master could be the demon from the legend. We know very little about it except for the fact that it was clearly evil

I like your changsheng theory although I feel like they would probably save such a story for another baizhu quest which doesn't come out in the upcoming patch
Yes, Baizhu is not a main character in 4.4, but the main adeptus of this lantern rite is Fujin, not Changsheng, so the story will focus on Fujin, while giving us hints about who the herblord is.
And by the way, in Changsheng backstory video, the doctor was looking for the Herblord at their abode in Chenyu Vale, but she found changsheng, so that alone feels like a confirmation.
Then, when Baizhu's second character quest comes out, they will connect the dots and complete the story from this lantern rite

I do hope though that the reveal wont be linked to a time limited quest (lantern rite) but to a permanent quest such as the upcoming chenyu vale world quest cause otherwise it would really suck for people that wont have the chance to play the event to only to be able to get important information regarding changsheng from Videos.
@@ominouswin6308 yeah, but the problem is that they don't mind limiting something lore related to a timed event, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up tied to the lantern rite....
I’m gonna pull for nahidas weopon and maybe cloud retainer if I have spare wishes but I’m not as interested in getting her since she’s primarily a support xiao mostly so I’m gonna save until 4.6 and 4.7 when arlecheeno and clorinde get released also the recent drama of genshins rewards has had me exhausted a lot of people keep saying it’s because of the devs, but it’s really because of the producer for genshin apparently he’s the same producer produced hi3 and when he left hi3 got better rewards so I’m hoping genshins current producer gets fired because I’m tired of all the shit rewards at first i didn’t care but ever since fr ratio was a free event character for star rail im starting to feel highly mistreated also in the special program one of the devs has a book on there desk talking about Mayan and Aztecs history I think so at least we know there doing there research for natlans culture inspiration plus I was really hoping liben would give us lore on natlan but instead, we got him rambling about the stars and some shit maybe that has potential relevance I don’t know but liben disappointed me and now he’s not a op npc anymore 4.8 is our last chance since every summer event hints to the next nations archon quest so it better be good I want to think in 4.8 we will have the golden apple archipelago event back or something entirely new I kinda want deyha and xinyan to be apart of 4.8 event because my personal theory is that there origins come from natlan since deyha was adopted and xinyan is the only liyue character with dark skin plus they’re both Pyro coincidentally and deyhas constellation is that of a lion i think lions may only be native to natlan id also like it if benny is in 4.8 events since he’s most likely natlantian and the fact he looks so similar to lansan so have all three of them or at the very least xinyan and benny would be nice they seem the most likely if im right then 4.8 would be a pyro fest which would be funny but when I’m really trying to say is I want klee, kazuha, deyha, xinyan, benny, keaya, and maybe venti to be in 4.8 at least two of them should be seen we already know Kylee’s gonna be in it since she always reruns at the summer events
I don't remember if you play star rail, but compared to genshin impact, we get fewer free characters in star rail, so getting Dr. Ratio for free isn't really that strange.
I honestly don't feel mistreated at all, and I certainly wouldn't want the producer, who is making a great job with the game, to be fired just because they didn't give us a free 5star character... Are we playing a game or are we collecting characters?
They are definitely researching the Maya and the Aztecs, but I guess they've been doing so since before Fontaine was even released. Creating a whole story and a whole nation is not a walk in the park.
Lieben was underwhelming, especially since he doesn't even want to go to Natlan, so that feels like he was saying "you're not getting info, not even from me this time". 4.8, on the other hand, has to hint at Natlan for sure, but I guess we will have learned something more before then, hopefully. The golden Archipelago would be nice indeed.
Realistically speaking, we would want Bennet in the summer event, since he is the only Natlaner we know... If it's the Archipelago, then Klee is most likely to be there, and since she's a child, she need someone with her. But apart from that, I don't really know who could come this time. Maybe Furina, since she's basically everywhere and in every single update.

its sad that baizhu's lore is mentioned everywhere when it comes to chenyu vale but he wont even be mentioned in any of the quest or dialogue for lantern rite :( hoyo rlly hates him ig
That's something I thought about, since he doesn't even show up in the trailer, but Baizhu has always appeared in every single lantern rite, so I think he will make an appearance regardless, just like Xiao most likely will.
They didn't show us the name of the one who was speaking in the trailer, so they may be keeping Baizhu and Changsheng's appearance a secret, too.

Also, I was wondering, Both Dragonspine and Tsurumi Island murals depict celestia being right above them. Does that mean celestia actually moves? This also aligns with what Vannessa says about celestia being closer than before in the webtoon. Now that we know that celestia over Chenyu Vale, what could this imply? Like, I know that the heavenly principles are "asleep" so perhaps there won't be any nailing going around, yet I have my doubts. As you said maybe we might get some info from Dain. Or... maybe I'm just overthinking it and the the representation of celestia in the murals was just a stylistic choice. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
With that said, I think Celestia is finally going to take some action from now on. We are halfway through the story and they've lost one of the seven archons, Tsaritsa and fatui are upto some shady stuff with 6 out of 7 gnoses in their hands, and one of the dragon sovereigns has regained authority. I guess things are about to go down in Natlan.

So yeah, Celestia moves in the sky, and we know that it went to Fontaine probably when Egeria committed her si. Now, it's not above Chenyu Vale, since we can go right underneath it in Fontaine, so it's more likely for it to be over Pretrichor, which is connected to Remuria.
When it comes to the heavenly principles, I don't think they are on the floating island, they should be outside Teyvat, in what has been called the Celestia atlas, the place we see every time we start the game, but also where we met susty. Still, the floating island is very important and the people of Chenyu Vale talk about these messenger of the cerulean sky, so they will probably be connected to the Envoy Age somehow.
I don't think the representation on the murals to be a stylistic choice, that's for sure.
Realistically, the heavenly principles should start doing something, since their place is now threatened by one too many enemies, among which Neuvillette, but from a story development point of view, if the heavenly principles made a move, we would figure most of Teyvat out in an instant. The fact that we know so little is especially because we don't know who the heavenly principles are (although I think I think the are like 3 shades-like beings created by the second who came). This also means that they will probably act when we get to Snezhnaya, especially because I think (and it would make sense) that we will keep the Pyro gnosis and we will be giving it to the Tsaritsa on our own free will.
If she got all 7 gnoses in 5.3, why would she wait 5 updates before doing something with it? And why would we wait 5 updates before going to Snezhnaya when we know that she has all 7 gnoses? It doesn't take a genius to understand that she will be trying something crazy, a cataclysm level intentional event, so, again realistically, Aether would just run to Snezhnaya to stop her instead of spending so long in Natlan....

@@anka8754 So, I don't really think Orobashi had been allowed to go back to the leylines because he was killed to prevent his knowledge about the Primordial One from spreading. If he went back to the leylines, his knowledge would be reused, and the Heavenly Principles can't afford that. So, I don't think he was able to come back to life as changsheng.
As for Fujin, she was already a fish when she sank and never came back to the surface, but I do agree that Xiao's master could be the demon from the legend. We know very little about it except for the fact that it was clearly evil
