Could you possibly create a tutorial video to effectively tracking and masking a dancer from a dance clip via Motion app and the free BorisFX Mocha plugin? Then additionally using the tracker and masked keyframes on a FCP composition layered on top of another background/stock footage layer and color graded? That would be hugely appreciated 😎🙏🏼
We've got a full series for you about working with Mocha masks : borisfx.com/free-training/mocha-masks-fcp/ Keep an eye out on the Boris FX Learn channel for a short tutorial about how to layer things. Tutorial coming soon : ruclips.net/channel/UCQaf9ihgW8W7RwjiNjNcAaQ
Yes, you'll need a different effect for proper keying. Keying is not part of Mocha or BCC+Looks. Looks is meant to be for adding a color grade over your image. You can use the Mocha built into BCC+Looks to "hack" a complex roto cutout to use elsewhere. BCC+Composite lets you create alpha from different channels to combine layers together. Primatte Studio is Continuum's main keying effect for green/blue screen keying, but is not available for FCP yet.
