Probably one of the best episodes I've seen so far. I was hooked the entire episode. Great to see Liam and Sam's place. Okay also regarding the yoke readings: That first spare yoke is from a TV donor that was removed. Go ahead and salvage the yoke wire and connector but toss the rest. The TV itself is a great find! That is a 100% drop-in replacement for a G07. Something I've been searching for (for years) since I need one. Lol. Haven't come across one yet. But you sir are a lucky bastard! Not sure if it counts though, this one was already opened up and saved by someone else. LOL 😂
You only liked the video because I mentioned YOU! If you need the drop-in G07 replacement, I’d be happy to hook you up with it. But do you have any idea what the other tube in this video could be used for??
What a great little arcade those guys have. I have a Sidam Explorer (Scramble) in the UK, the electrics are weird with an inverse 20V going on with the buttons and the PCB is unreliable, but I still love it.
Liam & Sam definitely have a great home collection -- make sure you're subscribed to their RUclips channel too! www.youtube.com/@retrobotics Tell me more about this "inverse 20V going on with the buttons" -- does it use 20V for signal voltage instead of 5V?!
another great video !!! i had zero knowledge on all this stuff until i started watchin ur videos have learned soo much ! and its so cool how u can easily identify the different parts and models i guess just years of exp well cant wait for more vids and to keep learning more ! OVERTIME !! 😎👍
Hi Charlie, nice catch - a sidam in the states. You can find them from time to time here in europe, for excample I have an Sidam Asterock ( Asteroids rip off ). About that sticker, its a test sticker, looks like they did some test sessions ( letters ) on it, then you got the start date and final test date, and I guess they have run it 8h for test ( ore- hours ). PS: My Asterock has 2 original mounted ash trays :D
Great video Charlie! Looking forward to Bosconian restore too! Also, saw one of your grail games sold on Facebook marketplace yesterday. spy hunter cockpit. It sold pretty quickly, not sure for asking price, but was 11K?!? I was like holy crap, is that what they are going for these days??
I saw that, and I don't believe for a second that it actually sold for $11,000... LOL That's 2x what a mint one would go for. So it's either small-time money launder|ng, or someone is lying to their spouse!
@@overtimearcade yeah, I have only been in the hobby for a couple years now, but I was like, no way for that price..lol...on another note, your videos have been a great help. I have a track and field that was painted black so will be using your techniques for the restore process. Thanks again for the awesome work!
It's great, you should grab one! Mike's Arcade still has it listed for $20 off, even though I think the sale was supposed to end last weekend! mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=BITKIT2PCB
Thanks, but I think another commenter was able to positively identify it as Sega's "Clutch Hitter" from 1991. www.arcade-museum.com/Videogame/clutch-hitter
The pins in this Hantarex connector are square, not round. It's probably easiest to cut the wires, crimp on new pins, and use a new connector. But I'm not sure I'll even use this original harness anyway since it's been hacked up a bit.
I think I've already got a buyer in the members-only Discord, but I sold my last pair of SNK LS-30 yellow rotary joysticks on KLOV for $200, which is about the cheapest they go for. The lowest sale price I’ve seen in the last few years was $175 for a pair, but without the rotary control wiring harnesses.

@@overtimearcade You guys so afraid of swapping yokes? Come on! 🤣
It's no so much *fear* as it is an abundance of *laziness* hahahaha
The chassis in the TV even looks like a G07
I appreciate you and these videos!
I appreciate YOU, Shawn! Thank you for all of your support and for being a great friend!
OVERTIME! I was headed to bed but guess I’m not now! 😅
Now youse can't leave...

I love finding out new stuff in this hobby. Great pick up and vid.
Thank you, sir! I’ve learned more from your videos than anyone will ever learn from mine! 😅

Thanks! It only looks easy through the magic of television! I often pause recording to spend hours looking up info on the Internet! LOL

Thanks! Dual ashtrays -- wow!! haha
I love Bosconian. I picked up a board years ago but have not built a cabinet yet.
It really is a gem of a game! Sadly often overlooked!

Awesome -- I'm glad to hear you find them fun AND educational! haha
Wow I had no idea and I was also watching this on Facebook for a long time as well.
Somebody had to eventually jump on it!
Get Sum!! 💪 🕹️ great video!
CAN'T STOP! WON'T STOP!
Nice !! You got the bosconian idea from me 😏
And you got the BitKit2 idea from ME! LOL

Did you grab one during the recent sale??
cool been interested in the bit kit.

The baseball monitor burn looks like maybe Baseball Stars or Baseball Stars 2 from SNK

great vid....now for the rest of the day I will be yelling 'OVEEERRRRTIME' at my dog.
Thanks! I hope his tail wags when you do that!!
You don't need to make an adapter for the video cable, just rearrange the pins. Don't you have a pin extractor?

@@overtimearcade All Molex pins that size are square as far as I have ever seen.
I have some real nice round pin extractors for the most common sizes, but only the cheap ones for the rest.
13:36 I spy another Dynamo...
You are correct! There are also FOUR more undisclosed pickups hiding out in the garage too!
Well, 9:11 Pm in Germany. I'll watch 🤘
Thank you, and thanks also for subscribing! I hope you enjoy it!
80ohm vert is the 3 pot 4900 version
I do quite enjoy working on the 4900!

@@overtimearcade Glad to help out. Love your stuff. You’ve become a Top 5 home arcade channel in record time.

@@overtimearcade John’s Arcade, PatmanQC, Vintage Arcade Gal and Overtime Arcade ⛰
Honorable mentions: Arcade Archive and Electric Starship Arcade
@oscarelsegundo Love it! John deserves an entire mountain of his own though! 👑
I have a few super rare arcades that aren’t worth much, the rarest is probably a working sega shooting master I have.
Nice, that's a cool-looking cabinet!
👀 selling?
Why, do you need a 25" K7000 chassis?? 😅
the new johns arcade
You're too kind! No one will ever replace John. 👑 I can only hope to eventually become a worthy successor, like Steve Young was to Joe Montana. 🙏
