Let me just say: As soon as I clicked onto the video and started watching, I was hooked in. Your style is unique, I've never seen one like it before! You have an interesting way of storytelling, one that made me say, "Why have I been missing this?" The animation, though it's not the best I've seen, is actually pretty good! Plus, your art style helps back it up, which is amazing! What I'm trying to say is, I so happy I found your channel, and I can't wait to watch more!

Best part of the spooky season for me is the fact that as well as celebrating all the spookiness, I also get to celebrate my birthday. Always fun to have cake and presents then a few days later head out in a fun costume and get a bunch of sweets from people, as well as have a bowl of them at home (we always bought bags but no-one would ever knock on our door, so I always had a ton to eat afterwards). Also loved the video, you've got a really fun and interesting way about yourself in these.
Still to this day my fave costume was the kangaroo costume my mom made for me as a kid. It was warm and perfect for the season, no need for a jacket. And it had a built in pouch to dump candy and props into, to keep my hands free when walking from door to door. I reused it for as many years as I could until growing out of it. The only issues the costume had was its huge tail kept getting loose no matter how many times Mom sew it back on, because of its placement by my butt whenever I had to find ways to sit down.
RIP kangaroo suit... you are still missed, two decades later.

My most creative costume was last year. As a band nerd, I was going to help out with the fall carnival at our school where the band was fundraising. I took a white sheet, some scissors, and a big black sharpie and went to work creating the 'scariest' page of sheet music anyone's ever seen. Things written in wrong, music our class joked about. My teacher is going to hang that costume on the wall. The people in band thought it was funny.
I did subscribe, because this IS in fact my jam!
My costume was a Star Wars smuggler, with a bomber jacket, ripped jeans and a Game of Thrones Dothraki-style belt tied around my waist. Turns out, no one in my school knew what I was and no one there watches Star Wars.

Story time! I work for a nonprofit cupcake shop and our bosses allow us to wear silly headbands or makeup for Halloween as long as it looks family friendly. One year I went as Liv Moore from iZombie. I had done my face in my lightest foundations, exaggeratedly contoured cheeks, and with smokey eyeshadow. Well, it was unseasonably hot and humid that year. To make matters worse the AC wasn’t working.
When I my shift ended I had to run a errand to the grocery store. I hadn’t even changed out of my work clothes. A random customer came over to me and asked if I needed an ambulance! By the horrified look on her face and concern in her voice I realized she wasn’t joking but seriously thought I was gravely ill!
Apparently after wearing multiple layers of heavy Nearly-Pale-As-Paper foundation and Not-So-Sharp Contour for ten hours in the humidity combined with my dirty food service uniform and with my hair starting to poke out from underneath my scrub hat, I looked less like a pretty zombie girl and more like patient zero in a zombie apocalypse movie. 😂

My best halloween costume thus far was basically a ring wraith. It was my best costume not because of the costume itself, but how I used it.
I stood behind the candy bowl all night and tried to convince people that I was a lawn decoration. When they got close, I lifted my hand-made foam sword with a pvc-pipe frame (and it was almost as tall as me, mind you) and tried to scare them. I got quite a few people.

I think the 'best' costume I've had to date is a tie between the year my mom made me a Sky Dancer costume (I was under the age of 12) and the year I went as a melting ghoul (I was a teen and had black face paint, and lipstick; I just went nuts with both xDD) and scared quite a few kids. >xD
The nastiest costume I've had and would not do again at the last minute (I would plan it out better) was a junkie zombie a couple years ago. The fake blood, wet and cold on an October evening, only to dry onto me like a mix of fabric paint and glue. Spent, I dunno, almost an hour trying to shower it off enough so I didn't look like the Kool-Aid Man the next day. xDD
My dream costume is a nice looking werewolf one that isn't gloves and a mask.

Personally, I like costumes like your Haunted Old Lady Portrait and Bag of Jellybeans. I'm not fond of the whole Sexy Witch, Sexy Devil, Sexy Kitten, Sexy Everything type of costume. My costumes of choice were pretty generic as a kid (Care Bear, devil, black cat, tiger, Ariel from "The Little Mermaid," etc.) I love costumes that have a little creativity to them. The most creative I've ever gotten was a Cleopatra costume and I wore black cat ears and attached a black cat tail to it and called it "Cleo Catra." Anyway, I have a Halloween ritual, but it's pretty tame compared to others. I don't do parties, I don't do haunted houses (I hate jump scares, I am such a wimp, I know, but meh). My "ritual" is watching "Garfield's Halloween Adventure," "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," and "Halloween is Grinch Night."

My fav costume was Skydancer (Yeah, does anyone remember those?) The most embarrassing was a cell phone 😧 I thought I was so clever. Kept getting whipped in the face by the coat hanger antenna my mum put on it (this was the late 90s early 2000s)
