You know whats crazy and really cool at the same time? The terrain is painted to excellent quality! Its amazing the terrain matches all the models in quality. I am amazed at this. Most everyone just slaps a gray base coat and dry brushes some light gray or white, and basic ruins…but TT…fully painted with nice blends and shading, lighting effects..its sooo nice, and why i pay the premium to watch ALL the content.
Was great to see Jinx pilot the sons, but I await the day where chef will become the tricksy tzeentchy schemer we all know he is deep down (in 10th) :P
I hadn't seen one with the Pastry Chef in a while so, me being me, I immediately assumed something terrible had happened. Really glad it clearly didn't!
This is an epic setup. I didn’t see Chaos forces fighting each other often so I’m really looking forward for the outcome of this match. May the mightiest dark deity and the strongest Daemonprimarch win! 💪🏼
absolutely terrible use of points by the tsons player, they need cabal points, shes missing out on lots of juicy combos, and no ahriman, infernal master, or mutalith? you should be running 3x infernal masters ideally, one with each of the enhancements, ahriman with some flamers, you can get 16 cabal points on a 1000pt army with athenean scrolls, with ahriman you can cast 2 doom bolts and one weaver of fates provided you don't lose any cabal points first few turns. That combined with your infernal masters focused witchfire (one that is arcane vortexed for +1 STR and +1 DMG) and ahrimans psychic stalk, not to mention all the devasting wounds you get, becomes far too much for most armies to handle. All this before you spend any CP, let that arcane vortex infernal master overwatch and then ritual another overwatch for 0 CP, the combos are endless. It's really annoying that I can't find any battle reports of people playing tsons to their full potential.
yeah it sucks when people play lists with the units they like, own, and have painted, pretty inconsiderate of them. I really wish they'd put optimization over their personal preferences, would probably make it a lot more enjoyable to watch.@@joefawcett2191

Also, since you can name off that list, it seems likely it is some meta list, which are very boring to watch as they have been done over and over. If you are looking for sweaty content, try checking out a tournament.
@@matthewpaul4520 there's a difference between sweaty and completely nerfing yourself. there is absolutely no reason to play thousand sons unless you are going for cabal points, its the whole point of the army. I understand not picking meta lists but theres absolutely no reason to not pick a different chaos army to run a list like this

Or what if a battle of 4k points with the 3 chaos primarchs on one side facing Abaddon and Belakor with Black Legion and Daemons

Chef in big one-on-one fights with monsters or vehicles you always do tank shock! Especially with swingy, damage weapons. You could have started the fight with five or six mortal wounds! One CP for all those mortal wounds is always worth it
I love your battlereports and watching the World Eaters take skulls, don't get me wrong! I'd just like to see some more fluffy WE lists where Angron isn't featured every time 😅
There is an enhancement called the umbralific crystal that allows a unit to go back into deepstrike in their command phase, and come back in their movement phase, meaning you can move wherever you want turn 1
Umbralefic Crystal doesn't count as a Deep Strike because it doesn't put your unit into reserves, so it's not bound by the restrictions from what I can tell Compare it to Raveners, who's ability states 'you can remove it from the battlefield and place it into strategic reserves' edit: Jinx probably just misspoke when she said deep strike
Honestly I'm most excited for the 8th and 9th primarchs due to one of them being more fabulous than all the other princesses and the other one being Sanguinius. Hilariously I thought it would be funny to use the criteria from Ralph breaks the internet (magic hair, magic hands, animals talking to them, poisoned, cursed, kidnapped/enslaved, deal with an underwater sea witch where she took their voice in exchange for a pair of human legs, having true love's kiss, daddy issues and all their problems getting solved because a big strong man showed up) to determine if the primarchs would be princesses. Magnus, Mortarion, Lorgar and Fulgrim all count under having magic hands (possibly Ferrus if we're less literal), Leman has animals talk to him*, Gulliman, Horus, Jaghatai and Mortarion were all poisoned (I'm not counting Sanguinius's wound from Ron), Sanguinius, Corvus, Vulkan, Konrad, Alpharius, Omegon and all the daemon primarchs are cursed, Gulliman, Vulkan and Angron were kidnapped/enslaved, Konrad gets his own human legs so no points for this one, Fulgrim has probably had true love's kiss in the mirror (Gulliman had Gullimum and Corvus had his adopted sister who talked him out of depression so there was probably an affectionate smooch there), daddy issues is just a big yes for all of them and with the exception of Angron I'm going to say yes, all the primarchs problems got solved because a big strong golden man showed up. By this logic all the Primarchs would count as princesses often for multiple reasons. Feel free to let me know if I missed any. *Lorgar also has animals talking to him but they're just crows cawing threateningly at him so I left it off the list.
Wait, did you switch the dice by mistake? I was confused at the beginning because the teal coloured dice were Khorne and the orange dice were Tzeentch.

I am so confused, I thought charges always fail on a roll of double 1. Is there actually something that says they can’t fail a charge if they are that close or is it just something you guys play. Ive been playing as even if im just over an inch away I can fail on double 1 so is that wrong ?
See if ive get this right... A squad of 10, 2 wound each space marines. If I fire a lascannon into them and do 5 wounds - only 1 marine is removed? As wounds dont carry over. BUT if I fire an assault cannon into them that does 6 shots and do 5 wounds, 2 marines are removed and 1 marine takes a wound ?? So multiple wounds from a one shot weapon don't carry over but multiple wounds from a multi shot single weapon do??

This works in turn 1 and is really good to provide an early in your face threat for your opponent!

Friendly models don't block LOS
You can see through models. Only terrain blocks line of sight iirc.

Nope that’s not a rule anywhere, a double 1 is only a fail if it doesn’t get you in combat range 🙂

Correct, high damage single shot weapons do not spill over, but weapons with lots of shots do
