The latent power these locomotives have is plain even at tickover. Love watching these at Warwick Parkway, you can hear them for ages as they climb up Hatton Bank.
FANTASTIC Video…68011 my favourite 68 😎🔥🔥🎉🎉 It’s almost like the old days seeing a loco hauled train…long may it continue 🇬🇧😎🎉🎉🎉👍🏽 Im going to have to ride a 68 between Marylebone and Birmingham - I will put that on my “To Do” list 😎👍🏽🎉🎉💨💨
Lovely sound as they accelerate from a station stop. Great memories Mike, if I had a £1 for every train I dispatched during my career I'd be a very rich man. 🤓
It's always good to get a good bit of 68 thrash. Fantastic shots and captures there! Glad you caught these! Excellent detailing and camera work! A perfect example of why I recommend your excellent channel! Great stuff! Top class! No faults at all! Well done! Great work! A winner! The perfect vid! Highly enjoyable stuff! You did well there! Nice livieres and thrash! They sounded brilliant! I've managed to see all the TPE 68s now, Felix being the last one I needed. Very nice indeed! Looooooooooooved it! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
@@antman09ful1 Absolutely Mike, love when they thrash past here, always sounding great, I can't wait till we will get alot more of them. All the best, Jamie
How many different 68’s are diagrammed in a single day please and do they all operate the same route - and what route do they take, thanks. I’m in Leyland and live 2 miles from the WCML. You can quite often hear a pair of 68’s on intermodals as they head south up the bank towards Euxton Jnc. Great throbbing vid 🤓
That’s okay, I’m just looking to go one day this summer and see if I get lucky! Didn’t know if 014 was a regular or not. Funnily enough just had this local gen today….. Chiltern 68012 6C06 ballast empties to Shap summit quarry. So definitely no 012 on todays workings!
hello Mike, these new age diesels just do not rock my boat, give me a class52 or 40 any day with a bit of ooooooomph in them not a 68 which sounds like a Howard Bantam rotavator, good video though
Well Peter I go along with you when we take about them locos, but when we haven't got many loco hauled passenger trains left in this country these class 68 are the business for me Peter. Cheers for watching regards Mike.

Yes you can hear them for ages on calm days, thanks for taking a look.
Great sound, especially at full chat! We live about a quarter of a mile from the Chiltern line and there's no mistaking a 68 working.
Well you know that sound very well then john, thanks for checking out my video, your interest is much appreciated.

Turn the volume up, magnificent.
Good idea Paul.
Excellent stuff. Lets hope these keep going for a while yet and they aren’t phased out early due to cost cutting.
