🇹🇹 Trinidad & Tobago Travel Series: • Eating TRINIDADIAN CHI...
DRE’S FLAVORS: At this restaurant by Chef Andre Bernard, I watched him prepare chicken feet souse, curry goat, and green peas and rice. The chicken feet souse was full of flavor and gelatinous texture, while the curry goat was tender, heart, and a little sweet. I also had some refreshing carambola (star fruit) juice and some passionfruit juice!
RIVER ANTOINE DISTILLERY: Here, I took a tour of the facility to see the entire process of making Grenadian rum, from crushing the sugarcane, to boiling the juice, to distilling it. I tried their strongest rum, which is 75% alcohol and can’t be taken off the island. It’s the strongest drink I’ve ever tried in my life!
OLD AIRPORT OF GRENADA: Here, I got to see a bunch of dilapidated war planes that locals destroyed following a revolution in 1983!

How much of history do you understand? Tell me something, if great britain,France and Ireland were ruled by one man and were one people until 1611 how could Columbus been her? They claimed he was Italian but in the 1800 the Fulanis moors ruled Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece until they were conquered by the Caucasians and expelled to Jamaica, America,Haiti Dominican Republic and St Kitts. For 700 years they ruled the work and were the kings of Europe. Hi David. Happy Tuesday. Curried goat and all those fresh juices looked so good. In Trinidad, we used to cook the chicken feet in stews and in soups. Never had it in souse when I lived there. Chicken feet are a healthy food with all that gelatin and collagen. As far as the process of making the rum, they are still making and distilling it the old-fashioned way. Brave of you to drink 75% alcohol (should make your hair grow🤣🤣🤣). You would not survive if you drank 100% proof😱. Nice little bit of history there too. So this one ended abruptly, so I expect that there is a continuing part tomorrow. I love how clean Grenada is. Well done. 🤗💕
