Today I bought 2X Fel-Pro 7733 PT-2 Head Gaskets $25.99 each, for my Stock 1982 Chevy 350 engine that I am installing a set of 062 Vortec Heads from a 1998 Chevy 350 pickup truck. The salesman said the 4.125 bore size was fine for my Stock 1982 350 engine (I questioned him on that...but he said it was not a problem.)Along with that these Head Gaskets both have a RII indented on them and I don't know what that means. ARE THESE THE RIGHT HEAD GASKETS FOR MY APPLICATION ? Thanks !
Six years in my Subaru Forester. No issues. Excellent product.
i used indian head shellac on my fel-pro head gasket . After seeing this video i was wondering will it cause head to leak ?
Does anyone apply the coating on the block side and the head side?
I am afraid my block has imperfections naked to the eye, is why I ask.
