Nope… he spent a the cruise stoppage year in Aruba
In Mario's descriptions of ships he mentions (and it's shown) the Empress in Havana, Cuba, where he's from,... would love to hear how this trip was "different" from any other and how many times did he do this one (him being originally from there!)
Too bad the ships can't go back there these days.. maybe again down the line in the future!

Saying too bad about not being able to travel to one does not negate my heartfelt feelings and sympathy for another..you were talking about Cuba so why would I bring up Ukraine..
For the record, I have been to Cuba and had a great time. I hope someday soon Ukraine recovers from this awful time and we are able to see it as well.

How do you go about booking "full time cruise living?" A regular travel agent for back to back cruises or directly with RC? Are there any pricing discounts for multiple back to back cruises?
Hi Andrew, per Mario, "you would book all your cruises either with a travel agent or directly with RC just like you would book regular cruises. There is no unique way to do it ... every cruise is booked independently with its own booking #. The discounts you would get are the ones offered by RC to everyone. If you travel in a balcony and are Platinum level and above, you would get the balcony discount." Thanks for watching!
Per Mario … he books directly on the ship then passes all those bookings to his travel agent.
Excellent video content Alanna, I'm not sure when you recorded your video! There's only one correction,I would like to make!... The Ovation of the seas is currently sailing Alaska! Super Mario said she would be doing this next year!

Wow that is exciting! Can't wait to hear about it. Also, after some further investigation. Ovation of the Seas considers both Asia (US winter months), and Summer US (US Summer months) as home ports.
Hi Alana great series you and Mario do a great job. Quick question does Mario have to deboard after every 7 day cruise.
Hi Eli, yes Mario does have to debark if he is doing back to back cruises on the same ship. The process depends if he wants to visit his home base or not. In a future video he explains how this works in detail. Thanks for watching.
@@CruisetheWorldAtoZ Yeah I had the same question and would love to hear more on how the process works for him. Having to board and unboard on average every week would seem to be a bit of an ordeal to have to do all year long except for the times he's back at home base.
Richard L - We cover in a future episode, but the cruise lines have streamed line the process as much as they can.

1. How does Mario preserve his C-Passes? Does he keep them at his home base?
2. I'd love a copy of his spreadsheet.
3. Does he do church aboard ship?
4. I suppose there will be a point at which his health will prevent him from cruising any longer. He has thought of this, I'm sure.
5. Does Mario have family he can call upon if he is in trouble?

7. Glad to see he's still working - when one manages millions of dollars, one needs as stree-free a life as possible.
Mario has his sea pass cards for all of his cruises. As he refers to it he has his own "Cruise Museum". I will happily send you a copy of the spreadsheet. Religion is one of the factors that you essentially have to leave behind with this kind of lifestyle at sea. Yes of course Mario has thought of alternative plans for when he is no longer in good health, but until then he is well and healthy! Great questions!
Why not cruise on lines that have single cabins.

well He currently has 8000 points / 700 points to be a pinnacle, roughly 11.5 times?

Hi alana im going back again freedom of the seas this nov 2019 we went this january but since we only have 2 ships here in Puerto rico wich is the fascination i dont recomend that one and the other is freedom what i found wrong was the very small seating area at the buffet very hard to find a table every day was the same meals at the buffet but its ok my wife and i had a great time together
I am sorry to hear that the experience is not as good out of Puerto Rico. Have you thought of flying to Miami and sailing out of there?
