It's been about a few months since I've had my hands on the OnePlus 11, and let me tell you now, this is the most affordable Android smartphone you can buy with the best processor and one with a massive 5,000mAh battery. Whether you like or don't like OnePlus and their phones, the OnePlus 11 in my opinion feels like a pretty interesting package for its price. Most phones with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 5,000mAh battery usually starts at $1000, but this? Starts at $699 which is pretty compelling. So, how's it holding up after the updates?

Tech youtubers are obsessed with cameras. I think they look at it conceptually as a camera with phone attached to it, as opposed to a phone with a camera function.

Well, high-end devices differentiate themselves via their cameras primarily. Sure, a higher resolution display with LTPO is sick, too, and a Snapdragon 8 is certainly fast, but when those things are your main focus you might as well look at the Poco F5 series or similar, which are way cheaper. If people look to purchase a S23 Ultra, the camera should be an important consideration or else you should allocate your funds differently.
Not only that but they all think they are professional photographers as well. If the photos are not S23 U/Pixel Pro level they are apparently "subpar" lol
And of course the moronic customers follow suit even though they only post photos of their food on social media...
It's kind of the only visual difference from generation to generation. What else are they supposed to do when their livelihood is revolved around mobile phone tech?
..and (mostly) ignore the fact that smartphones are processing the shit out of their sensor data 😂 so, while some phones (like this) have pretty solid imaging hardware, most of the "quality" and the differences between devices is due to how "well" they do image processing. I like phones with a good cam, but sorry, it's still not photography
I have been using this phone for 2 months.
The portrait mode takes some really good pics. And overall the phone is good.
Not to forget the price difference between this and Samsung S23 series.
Yep same here. Things need to be compared relatevely, so in terms of value for money, and in that respect the difference between this pone and s23 is not as big as the difference in price.

A new update dropped recently with some fixes and it enabled 32mp 2x photos. I had to sideload it from Oxygen updater if I wanted it right now, but others will get it regardless.
I cant go back to hour-long charging devices after using the Realme GT2 Pro. The OnePlus 11 is really the only option right now in the US for for both CDMA and GSM connectivity. The Motorola Edge+ is also US network specific but the cameras are subpar and you have to buy their 80 watt charger separately. This is it for a high performance fast-charging device in the US..
This phone is a monster I love 1+

It's 100 watt charging for the op 11 here in the uk, so even faster!
@@wakinguptothetruth.2566wont make a difference at all barely so. I got a 67 wat fast charger and was using before a phone with a 120 wats. Even almost double the strength it cuts the time by minutes. After all fast charging is made for a quick top up from 20 to 60-70 after that a phone will slow charge to not heat up much. I plug it in and after 10-12 minutes I have 40% more battery. Thats way way more than any person will ever need.
I don't understand why this isn't the number one phone for more people. The build quality, features, battery life and camera at that price point is unrivalled. Sure you can get a better camera with Apple and Samsung but you're paying considerably more and it has more features and a better finish than the Google.
For me it's software. I wish it was more like a Pixel.
Generally if you want camera on a phone go for the pixel
I looked at comparisons with the 15 pro max. Apple wins with the zoom and the video. For all the rest Oneplus 11 pictures are most of them equals or better. There is something wrong with the 15 pro max colours, everything looks yellowish in comparison :-/ .

In op11, there is a bug in snapchat. If we take videos in snapchat, the blacks in vis turns grey and vid content looks more filtered but not in other op or any devices. Only op11 gets this issue.

7:29 correction: Find X6 Pro doesn't use the same IMX890 sensor as OnePlus11. The one you had in the video is a Find X6 Pro and it uses a IMX989 1" sensor. The non-Pro variant, Find X6 uses the IMX890 which isn't the one on screen- you can tell from the back cover skin which is exclusive to the pro variant

I buy this phone in Finland for 750 euro 16/256 , is amazing , screen,display,sound,fingerprint,camera,batery some youtubers test in full wather the phone and is ok with no problem,performance top,feeling budy premium , for this monney is a huge Win for me !❤
The point & shoot and video are in indeed good but not amazing... but... RAW and RAW+ on Oneplus phone is my favorite. Complete control and great quality output!
Thanks for mentioning this. I don't care whatever "blackmagic" the phone is doing under the hood to beautify my face or the scenery.. Hey wait - I do care and I don't like it! At all! What counts is the hardware. With a good toolset real photographers and devs have a playground :)
All I'm going to say is if you're serious about having an otg edc setup take a look at getting a premium compact camera or m4/3 ILC like the Olympus Pen series; I personally shoot a GR3 and it's a great take everywhere cam

Hi Mark, I am thinking of switching from Apple to OnePlus (I used to rock 5T before the iPhone 13 Pro, worked like a charm) I have one question regarding the notifications. How is you experience with them? Did they fix that annoying issue where you can't slide expand the notifications from the same app? And also sliding left and right on other Androids removes the notification, did they make the adjustment where the left swipe also removes it?

Hey! It really depends on which Android phone you’re using. Some allow you to slide expand notifications even when there’s multiple notifications from the same app. A tap sometimes expands it. But as for the notification removal… depends on the notification some can still be annoying cause it’s a system notif. But if it’s normal from app. Can easily swipe away.
Although it has strong rivals, it is a solid value flagship; choices include the Pixel 7Pro (when discounted) and the Honor Magic 5 Pro (outside the US & currently £850 with £400 freebies).
Hahaha...other than in uk think, Honor magic5 pro costs 1200 euros, whit 0 freebies, so its not in a same price range😂

@@koreyb Yes, the modem may use is not very good but I have had no issues as I have turned 5g off. I think that is the main culprit for that Exynos modem.

Tough one. I have both… but probably the OnePlus 11!
That is a tough one. For the US you're much better off with the OnePlus as it is both CDMA and GSM compatible. This is almost unheard of for a fast-charging Chinese device. I have the GT2 PRO and connectivity is an issue in the US.
Can you give your opinion on how does it compare to the Pixel 7 Pro?
I would probably recommend the OnePlus 11 for its performance and battery and the Pixel 7 Pro for its cameras.
I personally hate everything about my Pixel 7 Pro besides the camera for PHOTOS, not video as those are trash.
Charging sucks, software is trash, stability is trash, battery life is trash, microphone is trash on the Pixel 7 pro.

@@beratsirin9781 really depends, the software on the OnePlus is a bit janky, and it's pretty frustrating when it takes extra steps to unlock it because when you lift it takes two or three times as long as the pixel to wake for the fingerprint reader to be active.
My last OnePlus phone was the 8 pro, which was flaky at best with Verizon (often got no service and never got 5G). How is the OnePlus 11 with Verizon 5G ultra wideband?
That's because Verizon at that time had barely any 5G, only MM wave. Also the 7T and 8 had reception problems in the U.S. I had major problems with the 7T on T-Mobile. I'm happy to report (on T-Mobile/Mint) in the US that my 9 Pro has been flawless and I just ordered the 11. They had a deal on the OnePlus app and with trade in I only paid $380!

Fast for the next 3 to 4 years? Easily longer. Modern flagships have way too much processing power anyway
While one plus has gotten better as of the 11. I gotta say they may never make it back to the top tier. The 7T was the best phone they ever made and it demolished samsung and apple. But they lowered their standards when the 8 came out.

I haven’t tried the non Pro Xiaomi 13. But if you have the extra cash or find a good deal on the 13 Pro. Would HIGHLY suggest that. I just picked it up again for the first time in months and super blown away with its camera all over again.

hey have heard there are quite a few bugs in it already, specifically with the notifications related..like you just can't do away with the notifications by just one simple swipe and can't swipe down the screen to name a few

I have ordered oneplus 11 The CN version was installed the European version rom. I want to know “still Region lock will be there or unlocked?
Anybody that buys a phone because it has the newest or highest megapixel count sensor's on a phone are a bunch of fools. It all comes down to the optimization of those sensor's. And to prove my point, MKBHD did a blind camera test in 2022 and the pixel 6a won. Not only did it win but it was using 5 year old sensor's. This was no small sample either, he has over 10 million followers. It beat every high end phone out there. This is not my opinion, it's fact, just watch the video.

I'm using a OnePlus one n200 it's a budget phone, I got it like 2 years ago, I have to say one plus one makes very good battery's my battery life still last super long I can get through a day and a half even with heavy use and I listen to a lot of stuff on my Bluetooth headphones still battery grate and been 2 years barely worn
been looking to replace my OnePlus 7t (which still rocks, so not in a hurry) and I would 90% go with the OnePlus 11 cause of the better price. The showstopper however is the specs I found online regarding the USB port speed, stating that OP11 is 2.0 and OP12 is 3.2. Is that really so?
My 2019 OnePlus 7T has USB 3.1 and I really enjoy being able to copy so quickly photos from my Mirrorless camera's SD Card for editing and posting (wireless transfer comes nowhere near using a micro-sd card reader OTG), but if OP11 has only USB 2.0 that means a dramatic decrease in transfer speed (480Mbps vs 5Gbps+). Could somebody please confirm this? Or am I getting the specs wrong?
Also the other nice thing to have about the OP12 would be the better zoom capabilities... but I would gladly give that up for half-the-price of OP12.

@@supermanlegend7 thanks for your opinion. However I chose Xiaomi 13 because of the IP68 certification for whenever I go adventure like free diving. Plus Xiaomi 13 is much cheaper here in my country by around 100$.

Oppo Color OS rename to Oxygen OS? I'm holding OnePlus 11 now and i feel why the screen color is different from my OnePlus 7T. I try to search in setting display, but still cannot help.
Still not yet adapt to new phone as the screen of 7T is brighter with colorful, look smooth and yeah better screen than new OnePlus. The sound is also different, 7T has great sound with high stereo, louder and better. Game performance is okay, smooth and i cannot find it different from Snapdragon 855+ on my old 7T. The camera is accepted for me as i am not a celebrity and it absolutely accepted.

I'd be more interested in whether it has USF 3.1 OR 4.0 than the colour personally. For me the phone is in a case so doesn't really matter but from my understanding only the base model is available in matt Black

I have a hard time believing that the S23U with a Samsung UI or any other contributing factors could possibly last longer than a OP with all the unremovable bloatware that runs in the background eating up battery and other resources. When OP has almost no bloatware compared, and a far leaner UI than that of Samsung devices. Considering hardware, I just don't see it.

Got my OnePlus 8 suffer from green line issue and they gave me 400$ worth of credit for a 3 year old phone and I added another 350 to get OnePlus 11, at 350 i wouldn't have got a better phone

Deciding if I want the open or not
I confirm the bluetooth and wifi issues, even with the updates up to dec 2023. And compared to the zenfone 10, it's just SLOW as hell
So i wanna upgrade my galaxy a32 5g. And tryna decide between which i should get. I dont know how good if Amazon renewed like new (refurbished) or excellent condition (refurbished) is good to buy a phone from there as ive never bought a phone refurbished. For refurbished phone i was thinking either between a iphone 11,11 pros or iphone 12. For new phones i am deciding either between a iphone se 3 or a pixel 6a or or a pixel 7.

@@preston8872 If you are ready to try an SE3, it means that the display size of the screen does not bother you, in this case, so I would recommend the 13 Mini, it has the same battery 🔋 life as an iPhone 12, but everything else is better.
For the Pixel, the 6a would be a good 1st experience, but I would rather recommend a refurbished Pixel 7 or open box.

Up to you whether you want to switch to Android! The OnePlus 11 is a FANTASTIC phone for its price. The iPhone 15 comes out in a few weeks.

At this point if your phone still works. Wait for oneplus 12. If that ends up being too expensive at least you can probably find the 11 at a good sale discount.
