Even though I really wanted Honda to build a true off-roader exclusive model with an Element revival, this is a great choice of a very capable on-roader with truly strong off-road capability. The 06 pilot we got rid of last year had 374k miles not 470k (my mistake while typing). We did not replace timings belts on both because it had recently been done on both cars. We bought both cars from same friend who takes really good care of his vehicles. I did get a quote from dealership here in Alabama and it was $400 with part and labor a few years ago. I hope Honda is planning on giving the same treatment to the next gen Ridgeline!!

Looks great… except for the seemingly low ground clearance

I like the new front, not so much of the rear tail lights. I prefer the sophisticated look of the rear of the Honda Prologue.

I know it doesn’t show much of the interior, and they don’t really discuss it, but I hope Honda did away with button shifting for this. They kept it on the new gen Pilot, but it’d be nice to have a normal shifter.

Gonna want a comparison to the Nissan Armada Pro-4x in the future.

Looks better, but hopefully they've solved the connecting rod issues. Otherwise, the 10 people who will actually take their Passport to Moab will risk a LONG walk back to town.

Wondering if trailsport will stick with 2 rows and the other versions will offer a 3rd row. Passport competitors (4runner, santa fe, sorento, tiguan) in their more standard trims so hopefully passport does, as well. I want to see this model survive and continue to offer a trailsport variant

Get pilot if you want 3rd row

Considering they already have Honda Pilot with basically same powertrain and probably same wheelbase, they will keep it 2 row only.
