You can try and remember the dream as you fall asleep. If that doesnt work you can try and become lucid in a dream, after that spawn a door and think “on the other side of this door is the monkey society i was building.” Should work if you try it :)

At 4:35, huh interesting. He said he had to learn how to use telekinesis. Yet in my lucid dreams, it is the most common power I use. After a few uses however the dream does get blurry, but rubbing my hands together stabilizes it. Also, for the guy finding himself in the white room, not knowing what to do. I found a new way I have explored a few of my dreams I call "follow the plot". Basically I roll along with whatever happens in the dream, until I am not content with something. It is then that I use my powers to change something. This offers a whole great deal of stability to it.
An example: I was on a train, and I mean literally ON it, not inside a wagon. The train should have stopped at X station but it didn't. Here's where I felt like a bit of a show off. Instead of simply thinking about the train stopping or jumping off it knowing I won't get hurt, I used telekinesis to derail the whole train just so it would fit my needs to have stopped at X station.

      My lucid dreams are weird

  • @drgdfhg
    @drgdfhg 4 года назад +30

    I guess it's story time.
There was this one dream I was near my shop. I still remember this pretty weirdly clear. there were objects around me like a beach ball and stuff like that. So I didn't knew that I was sleeping, however... I was using telekinesis to move the objects around. Suddenly I felt that I was beginning to wake up. The more I was waking up the less my telekinesis power I had. Then it all gone and as soon as that happened - I woke up. :)
Story 2 in short mode: I had same dream twice but a bit different not exactly the same.
Here is my most interesting one: I tried to went lucid so I was kind of in front of laptop... And folders were opened with some kind of video files. So I kinda went lucid. That time I used to play games with save states so I thought it will be good to make a "Save state" in the dream. So I wanted to... "Save" so that every time I go to sleep... I get lucid. So I hit the save.. And something weird happened. Everything went wrong ( I don't remember exactly how).. But everything messed up so much, I couldn't even get a single image remembered later for 4-8 weeks maybe? It's like my ability to ever get lucid... Shut down ... And for many, many days it was like, I don't know... Major brain shut down for lucidity or something... I just couldn't have any dreams ever... These days everything seems to be better. I think something doesn't want me to become lucid. Why - I don't know...

I just had a vivid lucid dream. I woke up and instantly searched “lucid dreaming” to know more about it but I clicked on this video instead.
It was crazy, I could literally remember everything so clearly in detail, it was in first person too, like I’m literally controlling myself in my dream, the only difference was I could not control my surroundings, I don’t think I know it was even a dream, I simply just go for it and enjoy the moment.
All I could say is me and a bunch of people are on top of a tall structure, like a mountain as high as the Burj khalifa building, doing something religious? I don’t even know. We’re just in a religious structure on top of this tall structure, so me and my friend were basically doing these “religious stuff” by writing on a piece of notebook. I vividly could remember my friend’s style of writing in my dream, he uses the letter ‘o’ when writing the dot in the letter ‘i’, and also starts a chapter with a big number using a green pen. I was beside him just casually talking with him while looking at him writing stuff, then a heavy wind came by and blew me out of the structure, but thankfully I had a parachute which was given to us before, in the case of something like this were to happen. So I eventually parachuted my way from this tall ass structure all the way to the ground which took a solid 10min. When I landed down, I was apparently in Singapore, dunno why. There were fewer people there but nobody seemed to care and help me or asked me anything about the fact that I just parachuted and landed on the ground. When I wanted to cut my parachute and explore to get help, I suddenly remembered that littering is Illegal in Singapore, so I then had to carry my parachute with me as I was walking. Fast forward, I was walking in this stairway apartment and a caucasian girl who lived there started to talk to me. She was blond, with a ponytail, plain white shirt, baggy jeans and slippers, and an Australian accent. I then asked her if she have a garbage bin for me to throw away my parachute. She then allowed me to throw it away, but in return, I have to follow her and help her with something. She didn’t clarify what she needed help for, but I just followed her. In the middle of our destination, she got worry of me when I told her the whole story of how I got here and proposed to just help me get back instead. She then pulled out this white tripod-like thing and sets it up on the ground. As the thing started to flash brighter, she eventually said “shame, I could have loved you. But you don’t belong here”. As soon as everything got bright, I instantly woke up of my nap. This nap took like 2hrs.

The most ineffable experience when lucid dreaming, for me, was when I combined meditation with it. It turned from regular lucidity to total control without effort. It's hard to put into words because usually when you try to control a dream, it will either derail or work against you, but in my case, the exact opposite happened.
I was in a lucid nightmare, trying to escape it while knowing I was dreaming, and then after focusing on the present moment, it was as if there wasn't a dream anymore. The dreamstate seemed to shift into reality and I became the universe. We became one and I was lifted into hyperspace. This is where words fail because I have no expression that accurately describes what happened to me.
The best way to explain is that I wasn't me (ego) anymore, but a cosmic, incorporeal entity that could alter/transform reality in any desired way. It was as if my consciousness evolved and literally nothing was impossible for me to do.

This is fantastic. I remember my dreams easier than alot of things in the waking life. For about 6 months to a year of my life I did nothing but practice lucid dreaming. Now, having lost the practice since constant excercise is important when we project ourselfs threw such dence vehicles, this earth reality full of delayed reactions, I am just getting back into revitalizing the practice. To which point my normal dreams are throwing hints on how to become alert in my dream, almost tricking me into waking up in the dream yet I do not notice untill after the dream. Which gives me the impression as if we communicate most effectively arround ourselfs in a dream like we are all that which is outside having trouble communicating our initial point of consciousness since we are tied to our bodies, lest we would always be formless in a dream and it would not pertain to anthing of this dimentional reality. So when you wake you you are technicaly linked to many dimentions not having any relation which is why some will keep forgetting there dreams. We are innatly ridiculously intelegent being being dumbed down threw the filter of the human mind anyways.

"Fales awakening" oh boy. Where do i start. So i was in my bed. Birds. Chirping sun glaring. Time was 6am. I got up 'went to the toilet' (surprisingly it was a ,ade up feeling) went outside. And i saw my mother coming back from the shops. I told her "you're back so soon" and she told me this "Mate. Its 12pm" i wa stunned. I looked at my devices time and sure enough it really was 12pm. I said to her"but my alarm woke me up" (keep in kind. My alarm is always set between 6-7:30)
Later during the day. My step dad came home. Me still outside said "huh, that's strange. You don't usually finish till five" he said "mate. Its 5pm" an I'm going "What?"
Suddenly the tv came on due to my brother. I said to him. "Do you know the time?" He said the same thing "its 5 o'clock bro" at this point. Im just stumped. So i said to myself "if im dreaming. The next time i turn around. My grandparents will be at the door" and sure enough. When i turned towards the door. My grandparents were just driving up to the house. In shock i quickly ran to my room. Reactivated my alarm. And quickly close my lucic eyes.
The next thing i woke up. I was paralysed. I soon came to my senses. And felt the warmth of my bed. Nit ling after my REAL alrm went off. Still confused from what i just had. I turned it off and too a short reset period. Not long after. My mother came in on me and said it was time to get up.
During breakfast i told her about this dream. What she said next was something I'll never forget
"I remember having a similar dream whwn i was your age"
And that people. Was my fake awakening experience

HI Stef awesome stuff! I found your podcasts recently as my interest in LD has revitalized in part from staying home so much due the pandemic. I started a bit as a kid (my Mom had Leberge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming") and got going in my early 20's, but about ten years ago (i'm 44) my practice was pretty solid, maybe 3-5 lucid dreams a week, and using the spinning technique was able to prolong/stabilize/make more vivid my LD's quit well (up to 1 1/2 hours was the longest) - but then I got away from the practice and my lucid dreams fell by the wayside. However this last month or so I have been back at it....still getting into a rhythm with my LD practice/game plan (haven't gone full bootcamp but I'm getting there) but have had three, with two this week!
Thought the first one was nothing special (i woke up pretty quickly) The second one was amazing, one of the best I have ever had (and there are many incredible ones from over the years). I tend to be a flyer, and I employ numerous reality checks, mostly looking at a digital clock or writing, but also testing gravity with a jump. I also tend to walk through walls to get lucid...In this dream I did my jump, and it did not work...however I was in my "kitchen" and there was a digital clock...that worked, and I became lucid, walked outside and jumped into the sky.
Very quickly though everything turned purple and grey, like a mist...I was loosing the dream, senses going to waking. I started to spin, my usual, and it has always worked...I spin and just keep going until the dream world forms back, though this can take a bit of effort. I then remembered your advice to do math problems, and it worked perfectly (thank you)! I was then on the ground, in a sort of palace/mansion. And though I have a bucket list I have been visualizing I just wanted to see what the dream had going on, so I explored the place without trying to make anything happen.
What followed I could not describe well..the best I could say was it was like being at an insane party, full of interesting characters and bizarre but fun scenes...like Star Wars meets Alice and Wonderland meets The Beastie Boys videos...like Studio 54 on an alien world! It lasted so long I considered waking up because I knew I was going to forget a good amount of it. It was so strange and wonderful. At one point there were like these alien pokemon type creatures performing synchronized flight dances, some crazy foods that I tasted, and many many other bizarre and delightful elements. It totally blew my mind!!
I'm Pretty excited, as my past LD work really helps...I'm rusty but many of the dream skills I built on I know are still there, and I really appreciate your content. I can evolve and build upon what I already knew, and take it to some exciting new places!
I really encourage anyone just starting to stay with it...you really will gain some abilities with this if you put in the effort and have patience (and don't pressure yourself!). It really is like learning how to ride a bike...hard at first but the progression is one of the most interesting facets, and you will be able to tap into those abilities. Even if you stop for ten years, once you shake the rust off, you don't start at square one....all of your efforts will be worth it in my opinion. Just as you have to crawl before you walk, walk before you run, you will build a multi-faceted skill set with experience...you will have to earn it, but it really does work!

One of the interesting things about lucid dreaming is the fact that if a person is actively doing the proper exercises and reality checks and is able to lucid dream on command ( falling asleep with the intention of achieving lucidity ) each and every time he falls asleep that person will be using a part of the unconscious mind that doesnt normally get used. And, like any muscle, due to frequently and consistently exercising that part of the brain it will become stronger. Or, in this case, smarter untill achieving lucidity itself will become easier, but besides that a person may begin to see things in waking life they hadnt previously noticed. Thats all ill say on that. I eventually got to the point where I willed myself into a dream the moment I fell asleep and achieved lucidity in that dream. I remember it was very difficult to mantain my dream awareness so i was in a lighter stage of lucidity but the simple fact i willed myself into a dream and achieved lucidity the moment i fell asleep is definitely one of the most impressive things ive done with lucid dreaming. Ive flown, teleported, made certain actresses appear, I became Spiderman and swung around with the webs and ive traveled through and spoke with my subconscious itself. There are still so many answers i want about this and many other things but at least now im aware of the proper questions

I had a lucid dream when I was younger. So I must've been 7 or 8. I dreamt that I was Harry Potter and I didn't even know all that much about him back then. I didn't even like Harry Potter. But, I was running through a cold cave with some friends and we were running on some sort of bridge, and I was like, I want to jump in the water below, so I did. That's all I remember but I remember waking up and thinking that it was really cool that I could control my dream like that. I had never done that before. Now I'm 17, and I recently had another lucid dream, and I'd actually consider this to be another legit one. I was standing in some grassy field and it was a nice cloudy afternoon. I remember looking at my hands and I had green sleeves and there was some weird glowing affect around my hands, and I was pushing them through each other. Then I tried to spawn in someone and I spawned in Hermione Granger, because I'm into Harry Potter now. Anyway, I was getting emotional and really happy that this was finally happening, and I hugged her like we were old friends reuniting. Then out of nowhere, I lifted off the ground and appeared in New York and I was flying around like Superman. It felt like my head was spinning, then I woke up with a headache. I might've over did it for the second time, but I also think it could've just been my sinuses that gave me the headache. I don't know but I want to try again tonight.

I have been lucid dreaming since I was 15, I am 34 now. As time has gone on, I have been finding it harder and harder to stay lucid in my dreams and I am wondering if anyone has the same trouble or if anyone has any tips.
For me it seems like my unconscious self tries to actively keep my conscious self from controlling my dreams. I have a very hard time falling asleep and I don't often feel rested after my sleep. I feel as though maybe I don't get restful sleep when I am lucid and so my unconscious self tries to put me back into an automatic dream.
I wanted to join a group after the last experience I had. It was the most intense session of dreaming I've ever had. It felt like a battle. It was a combination of automatic dreaming, lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis and waking hallucinations.
I used to have very specific triggers in my dreams that would tip me off that I was indeed dreaming so I could become lucid. These days all it takes is a transition from one dream to the next for me to realize "i don't remember how I got here, I must be dreaming".
The very first thing I do is fly. When I first started, my ability to fly was effortless. I could control my flight absolutely. I won't go into detail exactly what else I do in my dreams, but I will say that i treat my dreams like my favorite video games.
As time has gone on, my ability to fly has become far less controlled. I often lose the ability and will fall or not be able to control my speed or direction. I also encounter dream collapse before waking into another automatic dream and my lucidity is gone.
It seems lately like I really have to fight to remain lucid but last night was the toughest fight I have ever had. I remember at least 10 dreams in which I became lucid but very quickly collapsed into another dream. Its almost like watching a behind the scenes of a highly CGI film where they break down effect after effect until it is just a person in a motion capture suit.
Finally after 7 or 8 different dreams where I became lucid I got extremely frustrated and something new happened.
Normally in my dreams I have 3 abilities. I can fly, use telekinesis and i have the ability to manifest objects and people. Last night I gained 2 new abilities. I discovered the ability to teleport and to pass through solid objects.
Teleportation: Because I was so frustrated with my troubles with flying, I just focused on a fixed point in the sky and willed myself there without the sensation of motion taking me from the ground to the sky. I would struggle to float in place but instead of falling I would just teleport to another spot. After this dream collapsed, I began another where I was in a room with no doors and no windows which brings me to the next newly discovered ability.
Passing through solid objects: When I found myself in this room, I had this getting that my unconscious self just wanted me to give in and relinquish my lucidity but I couldn't stand the idea. I walked over to a wall, put myself flat against it and decided to just keep leaning forward. At first it seemed like the wall turned into a two way mirror and I could see the other side, then i just kept going and got through it up to my waist which felt like leaning over a railing, then I just stepped through and was free from the room. I remained lucid for what seemed like 5 minutes where I could use all 5 of my abilities and tried to just enjoy my lucidity.
It didn't last and I had a false awakening. I have a fairly high bed and 2 small dogs that were sleeping with me. In my false awakening, my dogs, who are too smart to jump to the floor from my bed just decided to jump off. My yorkie got down fine but my dachsund jumped down and broke his leg. This jolted me out of the false awakening into a bout of sleep paralysis. It didnt last long and I was finally able to wake up and open my eyes.
My yorkie was still cuddled up near my pillow against my shoulder and my dachsund was still snuggled into my hip. I rolled over and felt as though the yorkie began to stir thinking that I was going to get up and let them down to bring them outside. I looked over my shoulder and saw him walk to the foot of the bed like he would when I am about to get up for the day. I turned back over to try and get him to come back but there he was, still curled up against my shoulder.
I have had bouts of sleep paralysis, post sleep waking hallucinations/waking dreams, lucid dreams and automatic dreams as far back as I can remember, but never all of them at once.
Does anyone have any thoughts on my experience?
    Any input?
    Any advice?
    Thanks in advance.

For my first time using my dream journal, I remembered a tiny bit from two dreams. I didn’t know what the dreams were about so I filled in the blanks. Still haven’t had a lucid dream but it will happen.

I lucid/vivid dreamed since I was very little and now I can control them and my body is like an alarm clock and I can wake up and go back into the same dream and do whatever I want. I would be in very detailed neighborhoods and I would socialize with strangers who are detailed to the full. It is wild and sometimes I can predict exact moments in the future that end up happening. Fantasy dreaming is hella fun and when I fall asleep, I dream throughout. My body in my sleep doesn't even move at all, I know. I'ts like I'm dead lol. My breathing is faint, but I get hella good sleep and a fun time in my worlds - Avatar State.

Storytime (Help!) : So I've been having lucid dreams or astral traveling since I was little (as long as I can remember) I never knew what it was.. I just thought it was a reoccurring dream. So basically Ive been visiting this unknown place in my 'dreams' since childhood.. I can recall vivid details about the place and it's like a town or different land.. I travel in different areas of the land that I am very familiar with and each spot is always the same. Its like a second home even.. The land consists of a lake with a winding road and a neighborhood where occasionally my best friends trailer will be. There's also an ocean with a ferris wheel and small roller coaster on the beach which is right by my 'hotel' which is always where I stay.. the inside mostly stays the same, however sometimes it will be my boyfriend's apartment on the inside instead of rooms.. most times it's a room. Its kinda almost like a summer camp vibe.. I arrive, put my bags or belongings in the room then go out to explore the 'town.' There's also a store that I enjoy visiting in a little downtown area by the hotel and can picture the layout but don't know what they sell but whatever it is, I'm fond of it.. I sometimes swim in the ocean, Ive confessed my true feelings to my boyfriend. Bottom line: I love this place but how do I go somewhere new lol.. And by the way, I do this every single night regardless of if I try to or not. Just did last night and the night before, and before... Actually I don't recall the last time I had a normal dream. Its always this place. The dreams are harder to remember than my normal dreams. My experiences increased when I began meditating at night or listening to different binaural beats and Hertz frequencies. I have been successful this year in everything I do and feel more in tune with the universe than ever. I can't help but to think that I am astral traveling because of my extreme openness and empathy. I'm also a sensitive. Any advice on using my gift better?

This is some awesome crazy shit. Also I searched for lucid dream experiences before watching this because I've just had a lucid dream where I was biking with two friends near some mountains but also close to a river that actually exists next to where I live, but is not as big as it was in the dream. We were somehow able to go really really fast with our bikes only by pedaling and it felt like the gravity was like in the moon and there were lots of ramps and dangerous landings and it repeated over and over and it was awesome and we were screaming with excitement like someone in a rollercoaster. Out of a sudden we saw a big black bear, and some seconds later it noticed us and started running towards us crazy fast. At that point it was like one of my friends stopped existing, but me and my other friend started going crazy fast with our bikes again, pedaling like crazy and the bear was also crazy fast and almost got us. But then there was a huge mountain and a huge ramp on it and we went crazy fast on it and it was almost like we were flying. We then landed on the river that I said actually exists next to me but is not as big, and we were also kind of close to my real town where I live, I could see the castle in it that actually exists in the town where I live. So we landed in the river and somehow were completely fine and proceeded to carry out bikes out of the river in the direction of the town because we wanted to go home after this crazy adventure. But then we spotted another other huge black bear in the river we were at and it started to run towards us and we got out of the river with our bikes and started pedaling like crazy again to get away towards our town. That's when I lost my other friend, but then there were some crazy ramps with really high inclination and I went crazy fast on them and it threw me at the sky again not as much as much in distance. I kept going on these ramps crazy fast while running away from the bear and it was getting closer and this kept going for a while. But after sometime I was really close to my town and then went on another ramp and went flying really really high and then landed on the floor really close to my town, and then I went as fast as I could with my bike against one of the closest house's doors, but it was kinda hidden, meanwhile I look back and the bear is still following me. Then I hit the house's door with my bike and it bursts open and I'm in the house. There were some asian people (idk why asian) in the house and I said I was sorry but there was a huge black bear outside following me and they kept calm and didn't ask anything. Then I asked if I could drink some water and they said yes I drank and then I looked outside through the door whole and the bear was there and it was looking around and there were people nearby but the bear ignored them, he only wanted me. Then after some time the bear finally goes back to the river where I found it and I go outside and go to my house and when. I'm in, someone phone calls me to say that I have to send them all of my money from my bank account otherwise he will steal it all. I said no and insulted the guy and he insulted me. Then I checked my bank account and I had no money. I had a lot of adrenaline from escaping the bear but now I was really sad because I was robbed somehow. Then I go around town and see the friend that I jumped from the mountain into the river with when we were escaping the first bear. We talk for some time and then he tells me to play tennis and I said no and I said I was robbed and that's when I feel really frustrated because of remembering again that I was robbed and I wake up and realize it was all a dream and I'm happy for not having lost all my money. End.

I've only had a lucid dream 3 times but it was only a few seconds long. Well anyway, these are the stories:
So the first time it happened, I was maybe 6 years old. I didnt even know what a lucid dream was! I remember when I realized that I was in a dream I was like "this is so cool". I dont remeAnd thenmber any of the dream before the lucid part. And on the lucid part, it was snowing really hard and I was on the top of a train which was moving fast and I was scared. But the reason it only lasted a few seconds was because, since I was stuck on top of a train, I tried to get out of the dream. I didn't even know what a lucid dream was so I didn't know you could control them and make it how you want either. So I jumped off of the train and I woke up before I hit the ground.
The second time it happened, was maybe a few months after the previous one. Like the one before, I dont remember what happened before the lucid part. Well anyway, I realized I was in a dream again. I was in one of those hotel pools. I was balancing on a pool floatie which was shaking because the pool was for some reason filled with sharks that were swimming really fast and jumping out of the water every 2 seconds. Well I remember what I did lastime, so I jumped into the pool of sharks and I woke up before I hit the water.
And then, the last time I had a lucid dream, I was maybe 9? And when I was lucid, I actually wasnt in a situation that I wanted to get out of the dream! I was happy because I wanted to try and stay lucid for more than 5 seconds. But since this was my first time lucid dreaming and actually realizing I could control my dream, I tried to control it (obviously lol). But it was really frustrating for 9 year old me because whenever I tried to talk, I could feel real life me about to talk, and then I would wake up. And it was the same thing with walking. I didnt want to wake up because I wanted to try making my dream how I wanted. Well after trying to move and talk over and over, i eventually woke up and was sad that I didnt teleport myself to an amusment park lol.
This happened years ago and I want to try lucid dreaming again! It'll definetly take a while to learn how to lucid dream and how to control it but ill be more patient than 9 year old me lol

    I once had a scary/cool lucid dream
    Story time:
I wake up to school. My dad drives me to school, we have a conversation about my grades. I go to my first period which is fitness class. So then I would talk to my friends as usual. Suddenly, the roof falls and kills me.
I wake up again, my dad drives me to school, we have a conversation about my grades again. I go to my first period which is fitness class. So then I would talk to my friends as usual. Again, the roof falls and kills me.
So then I wake up again, but instead I try to avoid my death by not going inside the fitness classroom. Didn't help, the school just collapsed and killed me again.
So then this happened two more times.
So when I wake in real life. I was questioning myself about life and death. So while my dad was driving me to school I asked him "Dad is this real?" He laughed then pinched me. Yes it was real life!
But the thing is, is that all the conversations, streets, cars, students, were all *the same*. Every time I would respawn, however you want to call it. Everything would be the same. Like I had the powers of controlling time.
After doing some research I decided to share my story in this vid. Thank you to all the people who made it this far!

Sometimes when im in a scary lucid dream I can't wake up. And when I think I finally woke up it ends up being a false awakening and then I have like 3 to 5 more of those false awakening before actually waking up. Sometimes I even start screaming because I start hearing these scary sounds and I can't wake up.

I tend to lucid dream when I'm exhausted or severely sleep deprived, which is more common then ever because I suffer from chronic insomnia. I will maybe get 3 hrs of broken sleep per night and my eyes always hurt because, well, I'm exhausted. Tinnitus doesn't help. Any one else? But anyway, when I do dream, it's almost always lucid. I have been having more lucid dreams this past year then ever before. They are incredible. They definitely last longer the more you practice and the more you realize your triggers are that awaken you. I always try to remain calm and look at details close up. My hands, the floor, decor, etc. If I lose focus on the textures so to speak it can cause me to awaken. I had one this morning...which is usually when I fall asleep if at all. It starts as usual with the room coming into extreme focus, usually very decorated and colorful. So this morning I had one and I was just looking around at stuff. If you struggle with creativity or what to do in a lucid dream, that's ok. Sometimes it is just as fun to explore your mind. I like to see what my brain invents. I try to look out windows but there's never anything there usually unless you create it. Mirrors are crazy too, my face is always distorted. I've always wanted to be a contortionist but I'm not that flexible so I can do it in my lucid dreams. I've had so many I can't count anymore. I like to look at my hands in the dreams too, brings me back to a calm focus and I stay in the dream longer. Sorry this comment is a bit all over the place, I'm still so tired and kinda out of it lol. The weird thing about lucidity I have discovered is that you can smell and taste and even feel pain. Well, I can at least. I was attacked by this giant monster this morning in one dream and she had a women's face but she was pure evil and she looked like she had giant giant spider legs and she came stomping towards me and landed one heavy leg (1000s of feet tall) on my chest and I swear I could feel it. But it's not scary, it's not major pain just more of a discomfort or pressure. I'm no longer scared of anything in my lucid dreams because I can control so much of it, or sometimes I just let the scary things happen and they usually aren't as bad as I expect. OMG I am ALL over the place here. I love lucid dreaming so much. It's such an escape and I have the power to manifest things and control them with my mind it's just wild. Anyway, keep practicing guys! Oh, I can read now and write in them too, I wasn't able to in the beginning. Ok happy sleeping and please pray for my insomnia thanks!

@@HowtolucidOfficial Hi! Ooof, I have so many. Let's see....ok well one that really sticks out..was absolutely mindblowing. I swear, I didn't know all that was up in my head you know? Ok so basically I'm in this magical land..not earth but somewhere much prettier. Enchanted kind of..maybe heavenly. And I was diving underwater through these winding waterways that weren't blue they were gold. Like gold water basically if you can picture that. But clear. And it was maybe 20 ft deep. And all around were various objects and treasures ranging in size and just so gorgeous and sparkly. Things I had never seen before. I could breathe and it was warm. The sun was shining through and ughhh wow just gorgeous. I knew automatically that there was no threat. So I just swam around and collected different treasures and I was literally in pure awe. The bottom was white sand and different gems and crystals. Music was playing but I couldn't tell from where. There were little sea creatures that would swim by me and acknowledge me. Just a look. It had to be heaven. There's no way I could create that. Lol I hope that's interesting enough. Some of them can be so random. But that one had some order to it. It was one of the longer ones..honestly felt like an hr

In my experience the WORST thing to do in a lucid dream is tell a character in it that this is just a dream, I did it twice I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson the first time but both times some horrific figure appeared and basically told me that I just fucked up and broke the rules of the dream world, the second time in particular was traumatic because it otherwise was the best dream ever but as soon as I told someone it was just a dream he started screaming demonically almost like he was summoning the entity and it was just the scariest shit ever, it followed me around and cornered me it didn't speak but i felt it mentally telling me that it had already warned me once. It was so weird that I have a hard time thinking it was a figment of my imagination, it really seemed like some kind of Lucid dream word ancient deity and I'm terrified of what would happen if I get too excited in a dream and do it again

i had my first ever ludic dream last night but i would wake up from my cat jumping on me but i figured out how to get back into a lucid dream every time, at first it was just me and my friends hanging out going to stores and clubs messing with people, a bunch of stuff happened but i started to realize i could do literally what ever i want so i started flying then i got ideas for another dimension i could make next time i woke up i made it, it was this evil vs good type of game/reality, i went thru like 10 dungeons with my friend and after it all i got a lot of stuff and i figured out how to fly to different places and it was so trippy because i kept finding my friends with this menu thing and they kept me comfortable to keep going, i would create structures in mid air i could change the camera angles i guess on my self in battles and it got stressful sometimes but i was really living my dream as a kid, it got so trippy i told my friend if this was actually real in the dream and i had a false wake up or whatever then i found him again and i tried to pinch my hand and it wouldn’t work so i know it was a dream and i woke up. the most trippy experience ever there is wayyy more to the story i wrote paragraphs about everything that happened when i would wake up.

Best: I was re-experiencing a nightmare I had just been through before waking up to pee, so when the monster came I grabbed her and just punched and kicked and head butted her until I woke up.
Worst: not bad, but of my two it was the “worst”, it was my first lucid dream, I was in a futuristic type hallway and was in third person suddenly a voice says “you’re dreaming” I freak out trying to figure out what to do and just ran until it blacked out, then I was on a snowy mountain so I ran and did a frontflip off a ledge into the snow and then saw my favorite athlete and he said my Flip was good

I had a very strange lucid dream last night. I was wandering a world that seemed very familiar, I soon realized I had been in the world various times over many different dreams. Because of my various encounters with this dream I knew where most of the locations on the “map” were. I went to a spot I really enjoyed visiting ever since my first lucid dream when I was about 9. However when I had the dream this time it seemed almost sinister for a moment and catapulted me into a scary place. It was a house made entirely out of stone faces. At first glance I was taken aback but then had a very calm feeling come over me when I realized nothing mattered in the dream and I was fine. I’m lucky that I have so much control over my thoughts when I’m dreaming but they can still be frightening at times.

@@HowtolucidOfficial my scariest dream was one I had when I was 16, at the start of the dream I woke up and was in my room, I went about my entire day until I got to school for my first period class. The second I opened the door it looked like one of those monsters inc doors but instead of a bedroom on the other end it was a different realm filled with horrifying monsters and gruesome imagery I slammed the door and turned around and what I saw still freaks me out to this day. I was looking at myself in my real bed at a high vantage point and something walked into my room, a creature with no facial expression and only a mouth with messed up teeth. It hovered over my body I was looking at and shone a red light into its eyes. In my dream world everything around me began shining a brilliant red and I began to hyperventilate, the creatures neck then snapped directly onto me looking up and then let out a guy wrenching scream and proceeded to jump at me. When the creature finally realized that he could not reach me he smiled and in the blink of an eye began to stab my body on the bed, I awake in such a panic only to see the creature at the foot of my bed. (At the time I thought this was sleep paralysis). I looked down at my body after I recovered from the shock and saw blood all over me-after that I awoke for real sweating and in shock.

I haven't achieve lucidity in a while but when I was doing my exercises or training, or whatever you wanna call it, I would have a lucid dream almost every time I slept. I've become Spiderman, flew, telleported. I even willed myself into lucidity the moment I fell asleep one time. Anyway my point is I was fairly good at it. One night I was having a nightmare, I was in this massive building that was very dark inside. There were random strangers everywhere, anyway, there was something so familiar about this place. I tried to make my deceased grandmother appear and one of the dream characters said to me "you always do that". I was so confused and creeper out so I woke up. That entire day I was wondering about that dream, I later realized it was a recurring nightmare I've had my whole life. I can't even put into words how crazy it was to realize I had achieved lucidity in that recurring nightmare.

I’ve gone in and out of dreams intentionally like portal traveling. Someone (in dream world) showed me how to travel by touching water. Once I placed my hand on a puddle I woke up here in my bed. Half asleep I closed my eyes and fell back asleep. The person had pulled my hand off the water and I was back with him and I continued about two days worth of events before making the decision of opening a door to come back here. I woke up once again but this time I had overslept.
About two years ago, I woke up 6 times back to back. Each time I’d get up to use bathroom and realize the room wasn’t the same as I left it. Woke up. Went to bathroom again, noticed a box that wasn’t mine. Woke up again, went to bathroom, saw my baby floating in the air. Realized I had the wrong “reality” and woke up again. The last time I woke up decided to go outside instead, only to again, take notice of it not being the same place. Finally, I woke up and stayed in this one/the one that looked like mine… but truth is every one of them felt as real as this one.
Anyone who else have bizarre multi wake up’s?

One of my recent lucid dreams was by far the most intersting lucid dream I 've ever experienced.. I went for a walk at the afternoon with a friend (it was a huge walk) so I got tired, then after some hours I slept in my bed. When I woke up (in the dream), I was placed in that afternoon where I was really tired so I went again to my bed to sleep. When I woke up (in the dream of the dream), I was in my kitchen. I didn't know what I was doing there but everything and everyone were so blurry, so I found out I was dreaming by looking at the clock and by noticing the strange atmosphere. Then all of a sudden another friend paid me a visit, I was happy to see him but he looked strange to me though. For some reason, he said "You know, you are not the only one capable of this" and I was surprised because I knew he was also lucid dreaming after he blinked at me. After that, we went out to do stuff that I don't remember and we sat by the cementery. While we were talking, I saw a rally of people moving towards to where I live, that was really odd because they 've never demonstrated there, so we followed them to see what's going on. Later on, I went home to sleep. So in my mind, I knew I was out of the dream and I was thinking "Man, wtf was that? It is by far the best lucid dream I 've had", then I did some stuff that I don't remember and I found that rally of people demonstrating even closer to my neighborhood. So I followed them once again, they started setting things on fire and I remember so vivid that orange atmosphere in the alleys. By the time, I didn't know what was happening around me, I stumbled on a girl that reminded me of my ex, I didn't know what she was doing there but her clothes were matching the ones the demonstrators wore. She came closer till she kissed me, but then she just left by the time one friend came closer. After that, I told him what happened and he smiled. That was the time, when I woke up to see that I was dreaming all of this...

I get MANY dreams like the following. But this is a key point example. I am a spirit with no real form. A mind manifesting as a mist, cloud, smoke... or something of the sort. I felt evil energies and I pulled myself into an empty dark blank dimension. I had the knowledge that this special place is in fact, no place at all. Only a port, a truly blank space where opportunity and existence can spark out from. There, I could see ALL existences - dimensions like pages of a book. I could "smell" where the evil energies were coming from and I summoned that dimension to appear forth so I could manifest. I saw an underground satanic temple with witches doing rituals targeted against individuals. I flooded the entire place with my presence and disintegrated every single one of them. Except from one. I felt a spark of goodness in her as if she was fooled to be there but didn't belong with that bunch. She had a chance to repent so I had the ability to filter her out of the rest and teleported her through the walls up on the surface into safety. I could literally see her molecules making space to pass through the stone molecules while I was holding her together with energy to stay alive. I remember how non-human this experience was. I had image from every single angle and position. I had an extreme level of "unnatural" abilities, having absolute access in the code of any world. While being in this burning mist form, I felt wrath against anything evil. It was such a sensation and visual that can't apply to anything human in the awake world.

About 4/5 months after my shroom ego death. I had my lucid dream. I was laying on my floor eyes closed with water noises on. It was dark until I could feel my body fall asleep and a cloud form in front of me. All of a sudden I was in an energy ball, as a baby. But an older version of myself, everything I ended up in the water. Roughly 18-30 years old, idk I was in first person the whole time. But the older guy was always sitting on the beach in one spot. Then I ended up on stair coming from the guy, up to the clouds. I realized I was going to heaven, scared me so I used all my strength to get myself to move.( I wasn’t able to mover anything but my head). Then I fell off the stairs towards the water, but right before I hit the water. My old lady took a picture of me with the flash on and scared the living f outta me..

Wow. Apparently I had a false awakening instead of a lucid dream inside a dream?
All I remember was everything was black and then I sat up on a wooden bench somewhere in a Barn lit up with orange lights so maybe torches or those oil light things.
So I sat up and looked at my hands to realize I was dreaming and it was suuuuuper vivid. Like the second I realized I was lucid all the possibilities ran through my mind and maybe I was a little overwhelmed and then I must have freaked out cause I felt an insanely strong buzzing feeling on my ears and body and woke up inside my dream.
When I woke up I texted people about my first lucid dream experience and then I woke up again, this time it was real.
Apparently I thought I had a dream inside a dream which is something I think would make more sense cause im a calmer person and I dont think I would freak out so quickly and the dream ends just like that, but it also was my very first lucid dream where I had been actively trying to get lucid dreams for about 2-3 weeks.
    What do you think?

if dreams reproduce our wake state, and by default we have no lucid dreams, this means that while awake we also lack lucidity. We just think we have it.
Therefore, the fact that we think we are conscious, creates this illusion of awareness. That occurs in dreams, that is, we dream that we are "conscious", as if the switch of consciousness is turned on the moment we think "I am lucid".
Another paradoxical point is: You cannot claim that you are lucid in a dream! Because you may not be really lucid, just having a normal dream in which you "dream that you are lucid". You can only claim that you were lucid in a dream after you wake up from that dream. The same goes for the waking state! We, as beings, cannot claim to be conscious. Although we may think we are.
Trying to understand lucid dreams i tend to think that maybe consciousness is not something in itself, just an illusion caused by a thought, or a "reflexive" cognition of the state itself. As a thought, a belief, a feeling. But nothing extraordinary as we are led to believe.
science will still discover that the decartian rationality, the decisions we make, what we call conscience, are actually affective extensions, they are nothing more than feelings that we do not control. And that we don't have that supposed freedom granted by conscience.
I say, behind every decision we make and every act we do there is an "instinct" that we don't control. And we attribute this to a supposed outcome for a "self" subject. This is the illusion.
Or I may be mistaken. perhaps consciousness is not really a mere illusion of our cognition and is in fact something extraordinary.
But the paradox is that we, in our current condition, cannot really know!

Best way to check yourself when lucid dreaming is to have something you know you will do when you feel that way. The trick is to tell yourself this info in the waking life as much as you can that way the subconscious will automatically remember. The more it's defined the more you'll know.

Storytime: Here's a lucid dream I had. I was going into a basement, and in a dark niche I found these large books, illustrated in full color. I opened one book and there was a two-page picture of Viking ships with dragon heads in an intense sea battle, all broken masts and flames. Then I turned the page and there was a children's book illustration of the Left Bank of Paris at night, with the buildings slightly leaning and crooked. Down on the street, under a gaslight, was a circle of luminous dancing ghosts. Just at that moment, the phone rang in my room and woke me up. It was such a drag. I told the person I couldn't talk and went straight back to bed. I was able to visualize the door to the basement, not quite asleep, and then I replicated all my actions in the earlier dream. But when I got to the pile of books, I picked up another one. It had an illustrated essay on the history of angels in different cultures. I could actually read the text, which seemed sober and informative, if not exactly inspired. Anyway, that's all I remember because I must have fallen asleep after that.

Tbh Idk how to lucid dream it just happens randomly with me but my god I have to keep moving and switching scenes in my lucid dreams because they will either A weird me out or bore me, B I become aware I’m dreaming during a non threatening moment and I’ll wake up, or C it turns into a F__ked up nightmare. Recent dream was in my childhood home and there was a party but it ended loudly with the sound of a commercial jet crashing in my backyard, we all went outside running up to the plane which was split in half and on fire. The fire seemed invisible but I couldn’t go near it, I guess I was trying to check for survivors? Idk. But then it got fucked up because some dude was running from the wreckage throwing pipe bombs at our guests and my family. We were all chasing him and trying to stop him from blowing up our neighborhood. That’s all I really remember but it was a very loud and eccentric dream...
P.S. never EVER look in a mirror if you’re in a dream. You might see nothing but sometimes if you see yourself the dream will become disturbing, well mine did, idk about everyone else. That’s another one I’m saving because it’s too much for me to add.

I had a dream where I was in a post apocalyptic world where everyone is fighting for survival. I was walking around the city and I met this African american we became friends but later he betrayed me but I don't remember what he did. So but I remember there was a group of people trying to attack me I fought back and I realized that I had a ability I can slow down time. I started to slow down the bad guys and punch them and they went flying backwards in slow motion. Then there was a cut scene where it shows me sleeping on a bed but there was a cord connecting to my head to a device. I woke up in the dream on the bed realizing that world i was in was a simulation I got up and the nurse came to me and said something. There was another cut scene where a guy said he disconnected from the simulation like there watching me through a camera. I walked around the building afterwards. I realized that there was people in the building everything in the building seemed like the world is normal. I left the building and I saw everything outside realizing that the simulation I was in was base off the real world. The reality of the world is the same as the simulation. Then a group of armored men dressed like soldiers came. The guy from the cutscene came out and said we need to put you back in the simulation and I refuse and fought them. I realized that I couldn't win then this group of people came to save me and they had super powers and they fought the soldiers off then we left the area and went to the gas station. Then we decided to make a plan to attack back the soldiers and take down the boss. Before we left we made a speech and said we will stand and fight I know it was ridiculous. Then the dream fast forward we made it to the area where the soldiers were. There was a mountain I realized that the boss is on top of the mountain but there was soldiers are on the ground. So my team decided that they will fight the soldiers on the ground while I climb the mountain. I made it to the edge of the top where the boss was waiting for me he was about to shoot me then my African American friend who betrayed me who I thought I only met in the simulation came to save me shot the boss. Then I pull myself up to the top of the mountain and slide down on a sled then the dream ended. I realized that the group of soldiers were using me to spy on a city through a simulation kinda like a camera in my head in a dream.

ooh okay so I am a naturally really good lucid dreamer. for the longest time I had no idea I was lucid dreaming and I only became aware a few months ago that what I do is lucid dream. It's weird because I've been lucid dreaming my entire life and I've never done it with the intention of lucid dreaming. in fact when I do try to lucid dream it doesn't work. lucid dreaming just happens and my dreams are INSANE and/or really strange or sometimes even really beautiful.
So my favorite lucid dream I titled "From the Ocean" (I give them titles when I write them)
I was about 19 when I had the dream and for context, I am Black and Japanese with brown skin, dark brown curly hair, and brown eyes.
In the dream I was a twelve year old Filipino girl with light skin and dark straight hair and "china bangs". I wore a yellow sweater and blue shorts and I was at the beach playing in the sand when out of the corner of my eye I noticed movement. coming out of the water was a boy about my age. he had warm brown skin with amber colored eyes and pure white hair. I asked who he was and what he wanted but he never spoke, he just came to me and we began playing. We quickly became friends and he'd even come to my house, a big hundred year old white home on a cliff above the ocean water, and eat lunch and sometimes dinner. I played violin in the dream and when I showed him he was taken by the music so I taught him how to play and he became a pro in just moments. I had a father in the dream and he too, befriended the boy. This is how life was for six months until one day after dinner, in the evening the boy told me, telepathically, that he had to go and I knew that this meant it was a forever goodbye so I told my father who then realized that he didn't know where this boy was from or who his parents were. When he asked, me and the boy just looked at each other and laughed knowing he was from the ocean.
I walked him to the water while holding the violin and we got in and swam to an island about two miles from shore. The island was just big enough for me to sit on with my legs crossed. I remember the warm evening air and the colors of the sunset; orange, purple, pink, yellow, and blue. I placed the violin on the island and we just stayed there not wanting to say farewell but knowing we had to. After a while he said, "It's getting dark. You should swim back before the waters get too dark. You never know what lurks beneath." and I swam back to shore not looking back.
The dream then skipped seven years later, I was 19 and coming home from college. I was standing on the beach looking out at the sea during the evening and after a while I swam out to the island. I was hoping he'd be there even though I knew for sure he wouldn't be there. I did sense that he knew I was there though and in my mind I could sense him smiling at that knowledge.
on the island laid the violin with only the g and d string still attached. the other side of it was eroding away. I curled up into a ball and just laid there as the sun continued to set. I remember seeing the sky then and the colors being orange, yellow, purple, pink, and blue and I felt incredible amounts of nostalgia, even more so than when I was standing on the beach.
I noticed that in the sand was written a letter from him from all those years ago. it had somehow remained intact. I tried to remember the letter when I woke up to write it down but I couldn't. I just remember feeling love, nostalgia, and wanting to cry because I missed him.
Then a thought emerged in my head saying, "It's almost getting dark. You should swim back before the waters get too dark. You never know what lurks beneath." and I swam back.
For days after that dream I felt as if I had lost someone.
I also give the people in my dreams names and I couldn't remember his name. He had a cultural name and I know he was Moroccan. I don't know any Moroccan names so I named him Thierry. The girl, even though I was her in the dream, I named Wren.
I have other weirder dreams like when Lucifer saved me, a witch was turning humans into soap, a man played a tree as an instrument, shadow people lured me to them (this was a recurring dream I had as a kid), demons coming out of tornadoes to befriend me, etc.

Awesome! What’s your BEST lucid dream story? I’ll share it on my channel and mention it in a future video if it's really interesting!

@@HowtolucidOfficial I think that one that I explained is my best but I have others. Another one I really like is the Lucifer one.
I was in my elementary school’s cafetorium (I was about 18 at the time), and I was surrounded by a large crowd of people. Everyone was talking and enjoying each other’s company until we heard gun shots in the distance. In my head I was able to see the shooters entering the school so I knew they were coming but I wasn’t able to see them from where I stood. I quickly urged everyone into rooms on the side of the cafetorium but there were so many people that I didn’t fit. I ran across the cafetorium to another room and locked myself inside. There were washing machines and dryers so I hid behind one and turned the lights off. I soon heard the screaming of the others and gun shots. The shooters had found them and I was shaking, terrified. Even more so when they began pull on the door handle of the room I was in. I knew that they knew that one person was left but they didn’t know where I was. They looked through the small door in the window but were unable to see me. The dream then changed to me in a ballroom with a black and red checkered floor. The walls had tall arched windows overlooking a city at night and the city lights were really beautiful. The room was dark in the corners and lit up in the middle of the floor in red light. I was training in sword fighting with LUCIFER! He was giving me tips on what to do and what not to do and how to better attack my opponent etc etc. We were actually having fun but then the shooters burst through the doors and demanded Lucifer hand me over. When he refused they threatened to shoot him by raising their guns and he laughed, telling them to try it. They shot him man times and of course nothing happened but they continued shooting him. When he got tired of it he just took their guns away with ease and knocked them out then called the police and handed them over to the police. He then turned to me, smiling, (he was VERY gorgeous) and told me, “you know where to find me should you ever need me”. I woke up feeling very strange. During the dream I knew I was with Lucifer and part of me felt wary because he is Lucifer but most of me felt safe and I woke up feeling safe and protected.
Here’s another lucid dream I had!
I was walking down my street and I in a tree barely strong enough to hold a squirrel, I saw a man. He was very tall and thin with skin white as snow. His hair was so blonde it was white and his eyes were deep ocean blue. I asked his name and what he wanted but he didn’t answer. I noticed the leaves on this tree were actually the leaves from the tree across from it (in real life). He then picked up his hands and began to play the leaves on the tree like a piano but it sounded like a flute and the song was so beautiful. I was in a trance and felt at peace. I named this man Enzo!
I have so many more I could tell haha

I had a dream one time a long time ago probably when I was in my 20's where I was in my old group home. This was a group home for kids. I was an adult in this dream. I was walking down the hall trying to get away from hands. Like the adams family hand. They were on both sides of the hall ways. It was dark except for the light in the entrance area. They started coming closer and I was trying to get out of that building. They grabbed me and I was on my back. They grabbed my ankles and wrists and there was one hand crawling onto my leg went up my leg onto my stomach then onto my chest. I was trying to scream out but couldn't scream. Then woke up sweating. This dream was 25 years ago.

@@HowtolucidOfficial cool!! One of my lucid dreaming stories was I talking to a boy I made from a tree, and we decided to go to hotel and right when I started walking down the road I started becoming lucid, I realized this straight away and started spawning dream characters, I spawned two other boys and a girl. We talked all the way to the hotel and we climbed the roof and got into a room. The room looked classy and was full of gold made objects. And I went downstairs and there was a cute cafe with a bunch of different aesthetics, I bought food and as I was leaving I realized that I could change my hair too, so I started wishing for it to turn brown. Suddenly the place started fading away and I woke up
