This happened to me. Spend 300 euro on the game because i like it and finished the story and mastery rank 14 already and everything lost. Now im logging in and the game want me to chose a descendant. Im alt-F4-ed the game, waiting for ticket response. The joke is, on my steam, i see the achievements, the played hours and everything.
@@julianfranco8187 The problem is, im unlinked my account and got a new guest account, not the account i had. Different member code even. I wonder to write to steam and ask them what happened. I think the guest account is provided by steam, and my steam application still showing my progress and i have the purchase recipients in my email too.

Can't believe up until this day Nexon hasn't acknowledged or posted any statement regarding this account linking issue. There are so many people in their official Discord server affected by this issue.Their customer support are probably overwhelmed by now of the tickets sent and yet Nexon hasn't made any statement or announcement regarding this. They are more focused on nerfing the Valby fortress farm than people losing their account progress.
So all the descendants I unlocked and got outfits for ect is gone?…I just loaded up the game went through the tutorial again and everything I did is gone. I had my account linked

I just helped my friend get to my level for over 20 hours so we can grind the game together, now he is not home and tried playing on his xbox and EVERYTHING IS GONE. He won't be home for 3 weeks and I am really worried the progress from his steam is gone

I linked my account, the only issue is its kinda buggy when i try to make a shop caliber purchase. doesn't seem to work every time or even at all. about 30 attempts and only 1 purchase went through.
ATTENTION PLAYSTATION PLAYERS! I was about to cry like a BABY after getting a week’s worth of progress. Level 40 Viessa, Level 31 Bunny, Level 20 Freyna ETC. I linked my account and lost it all.. AND NOW I HAVE IT BACK. I signed into the account that my “guest” account was linked to. Then I went into the settings of the linking and unlinked my PlayStation from that account. It’s actually really simple and I’m still surprised that it worked and it worked instantly. So login to the “new” account. Check the link tab, see what your “new” account is linked to and UNLIK that sh*t. Please let me know if these instructions were clear or if it helped because I was literally about to have a panic attack.

what worked for me is: i started the game on pc wich is my furthest game progress, then ingame i go to link account and a webbrowser opens to enter an email adress for a new account. after this you will get your steam progress transferd to your nexon account. then i started my game on ps5 and linked it with the qr code and i get my progress to my ps5
I lost my progress on my xbox. I had finished the main story and had just bought a skin for bunny. I decided to try to make sure my stuff was all linked together and when i signed in my progress was all gone. It made me a new in-game tag my original one said #6782 and the new one says #9233 when i unlink it puts me back to the #6782 one but my account is still reset and starts me at the tutorial. Does anyone have any idea how to help? Ive tried doing a support ticket and haven’t gotten a response yet.

You can link it. I tested it on an alt account to see if any progress loss. The answer is no. I recently linked my main account on my 200 hours of playtime. I still have all my things and everything, you should be good once you link 👍
I just did the same thing hoping to continue on my progress from my steam account on my PS4. I linked my PS4 account first went upstairs to link my steam account saw the message so came downstairs and unlinked my PS4 account exited out of the game then went up restarted the game on steam linked it clicked okay and my progress is gone. People are saying just to unlink it and it will come back well I restarted the game on steam went to the link page my progress is gone and it says my account isn't linked so now everything is severely fucked.
@@Oborrok Yeah ridiculous. They should pop up a heads up right at the start telling you to create a NEXON account to sync your character across multiple platforms or at least allow your saved character to sync to your NEXON account once created, allowing that save to coexist from Steam, XBOX, or PS. It's not that hard.

I was able to get it resolved. A nexon rep was able to recover my account and just had to relink to retrieve all my info. I was lucky and your video will for sure save many Descendants from making the mistake i did!
WTF. should be no rocket science to transfer the savegame to whereever it needs to be or nexon just get it from steam cloud. why tf are they making it so complicated. the game should give u and advice to create a nexon account first and then start the game to prevent all that issues.

I lost my ultimate bunny progress and rare module package that they have. I am on PS5, I linked my ps5 progress to nexon, and after logging back in, my progress was gone. Tried unlinking the account, didn't work. Hopefully I get to hear from them soon, I already have a ticket.

I started playing on Xbox first, installed on Steam and started the game and saw I didn't had my character. So I went back to Xbox in the game I linked my account there, went back to Steam linked the account, and there was my character same that I had on Xbox.
Nope :( if it did, I'd have a level 40 Ajax, level 22 Blair, another level 20 something Ajax and then ANOTHER level 20 Ajax.. everything got wiped for launch
@@Oborrok They will eventually fix it I hope. I haven't heard anything from them about it yet but I'm sure people have brought it up. Plus I see a ton of people have said they put in a ticket, maybe if they get enough of those said tickets, they will eventually notice.

Just a FYI, if you UNLINK IT IN THE GAME, your progress DOES COME BACK. At least atm it does. Idk if later it will change.

I contacted steam with a ticket. it got fixed within about 6-8hrs. Other than that moment, I'm having no issues.
