If you farm the ult unlock can you still get the ult skins?
The main appeal besides the minor stat boost are the red skill modules that the ultimates have access to. Main problem with that is some of them seems bad and not worthwhile making the ult version less worthwhile
Base models get access to the red mods too. I've got the one that modifies his expulsion ability on my base Ajax
@@michaelschueler6990 there is red modules for base yes. Though there are exclusive reds to ults (ex. ult ajax gets access to red mods life barrier and void barrier, and ult bunny gets electric charge and voltage.) Unfortunately some of the exclusives red just suck like electric charge powering up the bunny double jump slam sounds terrible to me.

Spending $100 on 1 character is not smart spending. Its just a video game.
1 of the grindiest games I've played in a long time and the over charging for next to nothing in Stat difference is pure greed.
Big bruh moment that the ultimate pack either the 3 or heck the 5k doesn't come installed "orokin catalyst" to the descendant but separated (I thought you get 2, installed and not installed but nope)
If you had them both built out then what do the stats look like then. That would be a better comparison.
I pay cause i dont have the time to play so much. I bought ajax ultimate 3k, basically you get a finished Descendant when it comes to the mod slots. So hopefully that curbs some of the grinding time so i can play with the bois more often.
Tbh tho i spend like 70 here and i got one ultimate with 950 primo currency left over and i put about 70 on warframe and ive already traded for a ton of maxed mods and quite a few frames and prime(ultimate equivalent) frames and gun blueprints. And a year later i still have over 2k premium currency from that same purchase. The value i have off Warframe was insane compared to TFD. I hope they get a free market.

There are 2 Transcendent mods that are only for Ultimate Ajax, base Ajax cannot use these.
Oh. So on Basic view the Ultimates are like Primed Warframes. Like Rhino = Prime Rhino Excalibur = Prime Excalibur. Neat. Nice Motivation to look Forward. Stopped after a few years of warframe. To much Stuff to get and unattainable due to Vaulting of Primes and other Frames etc.
think ill get a 3-4 pack or chars ........but at the same time every ''standard'' is a sub par ulti.. and if you plan on swapping to ulti from farming it you Lose all the time and resources you put in to the normal one.

The whole purpose of ultimate characters is that they can equipe trancended modules which can only be equiped by the ultimate version....
Ehmm no, u can use every module on normal chars, the only thing the ultimate version give is litte bit of starts and 2 half mod places
@@Zer0xLegendZ go to the access info section and educate yourself. There are in fact mods only equipable by ultimate versions. Bunny has one

dam, seeing the stats comparison with that huge amount of grind and how expensive it is with how little of a difference the characters have is a real big turn off. im well into hard bosses and now seeing this. i think im already done with the game. almost 100 canadian for this? just makes me want to go back to warframe even more. much more value there. thanks for the video

@@noden1739 "warframe at launch" is not an excuse. Also First decendant is not made by some indie studio with 5 people. Nexon is by no means a small company. They obviously took things from warframe but left out all the consumer friendly things behind. Also a kindly reminder that Nexon got fined 9 MILLION dollars 5 months ago because they lied about their lootbox drop chances. Some items literally had ZERO chance to drop for like a year and they got caught. So think twice before defending a corpo like a fucking drone.

@noden1739 I did play at launch, that's how I got half my frames, the community was much better, we all helped eachother grind, everyone was friendly I thought it was great. If TFD devs lower their prices and actually boost the stat differences that would help. But apparently they have a horrible track record with such things.

You said in the video you have the same external components on due to not being able to remove them. You actually can unequip them to see what the base stats are. The ONLY thing you can't unequip is the reactor
is the ultimate already maxed cap on modules? like the energy activated?

Ok so the same as primes in warfrframe. Thanks for this man i was wondering what the difference betwen the 2 was. And just like rhino and frost prime ajax might be the only decedent whos ultimate version is worth it.
Except the shop and prices are in the Asian market which is WAY more used to paying for free to play things. The US impact by not buying the ultimate things likely will be a tiny portion of the purchases. Sure, I personally won't be paying for 'power items', maybe just some cosmetics if I play the game enough, but really, I'd be surprised if the entire US market made up for more than 20% of their total sales.
So I'm basically better off purchasing Kyle then?
Main Kyle here. As I have both of them, Kyle deffinetly excels in more "into the fray" type of play, but there are many options where solo you will be overwhelmed and Ajax excels there.
From personal experience with both - Ajax is kyle, but does everything better type of hero.

@@mattantXD Ajax, simply better performing in all scenarios, Kyle lacklusts. However I still have two bosses left on hard mode, but from my experience with both for almost 100h I preferred Ajax, even when Kyle seems to be more fun to be played, in some scenarios I get overwhelmed, especially defending, both have barriers but with one you can keep shooting(Ajax) and he is better team wise.

Absolutely not worth it, you’re paying to basically have immensely more defense with 2 extra mod sockets and a beefed up skin? Hellll to the naw naw
Yeah dont buy the ultimate bundles if anything figure its up yo you if 50 bucks is worth the skin they get. I plan on getting ult ajax skin but its not for everyone just a preference 😊

@eliezerrosado1577 I don't know if it's best or faster, it took me 4 days to grind out Ultimate Ajax, but what I did: There's 4 pieces, track all 4 in your access menu. Then you have 4 ways to get each piece. I just chose the way that I found the least tedious or others were there grinding the same pattern. Once I got 5 patterns, I would open them. Once I got one of the 4 pieces, I would take it off of my Access Tracking Menu.
That's what I did at least. The grind is real no? :p

On hard more, the amorf farm for ultimate is easier

Sorry man but there is a huge difference in stats in the end game. The module and equipment % modifiers amplify the base stats drastically.
Bigger base stats = bigger multiplicative gains
@ProdigaliNKGaming I think that's understood. We aren't talking about your equipment and mod effects. We are talking about what you are base paying for; 2 polarization slots, 1200-1500 DEF modifier and a skin. You can add polarity to Base Ajax so you are only getting an acceleration on those, so the only difference at max 40 without mods and equip effects to stats is the 1200-1500 DEF. Endgame everyones will look different.
You do not have bigger base stats on skills or your descendant other than the DEF stat.

Well the studio (Nexon) fined to pay 9 million dollars just recently for lying and fixing drop rates of lootboxes in MapleStory. They were doing it since the start and Korean fucking goverment had to step in. They literally hold several patents for actively fucking around with drop rates (like longer you play, smaller the drop chances). No idea how anyone can trust these scum.
Not a scam because nobody puts a gun on your head that you have to buy anything to play
