Dude you are amazing. I thought I would need to skip out on this event with being too scared to lose my progress. This worked exactly as you described, as I was already on Steam. Resolved my issue within minutes and I'm now able to claim the Freyna Vault info. Thanks champ!
I didnt have a lost progress issue but was scared as hell that I would lose all of my progress if I did anything wrong, so I watched your video to make sure I did it right first try. Just made my Nexon account, linked it to Google, launched TFD and hit Link Account and everything worked like a charm. Had a nervous few seconds when it sent me back to the start screen after following the in-game link process ... was waiting for a level 1 Viessa to be sitting there, but nope, my 40 Ult Bunny was still there. Very helpful, straight to the point video - thank you!
So just to be sure because i am scared too , i created a new account with email/password and in Social i linked google, now in the profile bottom screen says Linked Account / Google - Linked. Is it ok to proceed to link my PS5 now? I got the email from nexon with topic "Your NEXON ID has been linked to a Google account." Thank you !
@@zartius Yep that should be fine. Sounds like you're doing exactly what I did and I had no trouble. I made a Nexon account. Linked that Nexon account to Google and it said on the Nexon account Google Linked. Then in game under Account I hit the Link Account button and it said something like 'you are currently logged into a Nexon account - do you want to link to that account' and I clicked yes and everything worked just fine. This was on PC in my case, and I play on Steam, and my email address is the same for Nexon, Steam and Google - that might be important, I dont know. I was scared but tbh it was flawless and worked without an issue. I think where it has gone wrong is when peoiple dont make a Nexon account first and link it to Google first. Or when they link a cross-platform they have no progress on first and then try to link their platform with all the progress on it last. Sounds to me like you're doing everything the right way - good luck!

Did not work for me all my stuff is gone, I link my steam account to a brand new nexon account I loaded on my Xbox and did the QR code and link that account but none of my progress is there it wants me to start from level 1
@@Ganjiang_Moye so you need to unlink in-game from your steam account since that’s your main platform where all your progress was saved. Then re-do those steps in the details or video.

@@zartius you got it! Yes you go to your main platform you play on. Link in-game it will pull up a scan code you will use your smartphone to scan. It will open up a new link. Insert your google email that’s linked to Nexon. You will get a email confirmation showing the PlayStation is linked. Text me a 🤙🏾 when it’s all good.

Just a note, if you do it like i did create the account and go after hours to do the link better first login to the nexon account on your phone and then try the link account in game it will do it with no issues the verification process. I was logged out and the web link was to create a new account so i cancleled it in PS5 and logged in to nexon on my phone and then tryed again with success. After the link i got the email with topic "Your NEXON ID has been linked to a Playstation Network account." Now if i link my Xbox Or my pc/steam account in the future i can continue to another platform and vice versa if i understand correctly right? Subbed and greatful for your help Thank you !
@@zartius yes 🙌🏾 all you have to do now is log into that desired platform i.e. steam or Xbox log in game and link in your email info that is linked to your Nexon account and boom cross save and cross play done between all desired platforms. Just make sure those platforms are unlinked before you go through this process again, so you don’t overwrite the progress you made on the PS5 account, Good stuff.
So with this new event, I’m on Xbox and in order to link your Xbox with nexon you have to use your email you created for Xbox. I didn’t do that. I created a random one. When i unlink the random one all my progress is gone. My question is can I go to nexon and unlink my random email then create a nexon account with my correct Xbox email and link it that way. Will my progress carry over to my Xbox email? When I go to nexon and delink the random email it says “The XBOX account is linked to a Nexon account. You can use any email (gmail, outlook, yahoo etc) to link to Nexon first, through their website (not in-game yet.)Then you link what platform you have all your saved progress from the default guest account, scan the code when you link in-game and use the email you linked to your Nexon account.

@@bitterblossom19 you should be able to use the steam email. The bigger thing is to insure you link that account in the Nexon website, and get the confirmation for the account being linked. Then you load up TFD on steam and link TFD steam platform in-game. So all your progress is saved on the steam platform. Remember you have to unlink in the game first so your progress is returned to the default guest account, then you follow the guide video or details. Let me know with a 🤙🏾 that it worked out for you.
i have been trying to get crosssave to work sice it was introduced for this game and it has never worked, i dont have access to my console i sold it to afford my gaming pc, so i cant do anythimng with a console
If you had your progress saved on the Xbox and got rid of your Xbox to switch to PC. Yea, you going to have to take that L and start from scratch. Unless you have a friend or family member that has a Xbox to do this process. That’s the only solution I can think of for you.

So you should have linked your steam account in-game first following those steps, then you log in TFD with your PS5 go to account and link the PS5 using the email you linked to Nexon, and boom you can cross play between steam and PS5. What do you mean by donate? For the second question, yes you can cross save and cross play between platforms as long as you link your email to Nexon, then link in-game the platform you have all your progress saved on using that email you used to link into Nexon.
So, I followed the steps as you stated, but for some reason when I restart the game after the “unlinking of accounts”, it’s starts the campaign over and nothing went back to prior to the data wipe(like yours)…I have to replay the game?
@@manbat6996 no at the main menu you have to go into the options tab then account after you link whatever email you are going to use to link to Nexon. After confirmation that your linked to Nexon, then you go to your main platform you use in-game into the options menu located in the main menu, then go to accounts to avoid having to play the tutorial over again.

@@iLLicitWARFARE PS5. I got it to work. I logged into the new Nexon account I created with my g-mail on my computer. I then reconnected my PSN account there and it worked. Im also able to get the new Freyna missions now. I’m still trying to figure out how to get my Twitch Drops because I seemed to have missed them with all this account linking stuff.

I already had a nexon account from playing a game in the past, but now it just doesn't let me do anything for 7 days. I can't make a new account without changing my darn email and waiting a week. I wanted to play on pc but these nexon f****** can't do anything right. Been having issues with them since I started playing one of their game's years back.
My recommendation if you have a TFD saved progress, I would unlink with whatever platform you are playing on. And create a new email with either outlook, X, gmail, etc. Then redo the process in the video or details. As long as you unlink and your progress is on that default guest account and you link in with the new email you should be fine. Let me know how it goes, I know that sick feeling when you get stuck.

After that re-create a new Nexon account, from the link provided. Once your Nexon account is set up go log into Nexon and click your profile in the top corner and then go to account settings and hit link account. From here what email are you going to link Nexon with?
@@iLLicitWARFARE So, I created an account with Google cuz that's just easy. Then, I log in and go to link it through the website to my Xbox account and head to my console. Once I load up the game, it automatically registers that it's linked (I don't have the option to link it like you were describing) and I lose the progress from my Microsoft account. I also tried unlinking from the console and just linking it back up to the created Nexon account and it says in the warning when you try to link it up again something like "linking will cause your Microsoft account progress to be deactivated". I'm really just at a loss here and they make it pretty hard to contact them about this game lol but if you got advice, I'm gonna look at it later
@@teknokrazed9630 the developers said you will at one point need to link your account with Nexon to save your progress in regards to cross saving and enabling cross play with all your progress still intact. You don’t need to link your account if you are only dedicated to one platform.
Ok, start from scratch if your account was already linked then unlinking it you should be able to relink with your email that was linked to Nexon. Once your personal email is linked to Nexon log in to TFD and link in-game using that personal email.

But you must first link Nexon to a email account whether that is gmail, yahoo, X etc. In my details it has all the information to do it. If you hit a wall or get confused message me.
@@eugeniuszmalinowski7156 if you started your first game on Steam you have to follow the instructions and link your steam account toNexon and whatever email you link Nexon with. After that then you can link your PS5 account but it first must be done with your steam account since that is where all your progress in-game was saved. Let me know if that resolved your issue.
@@dloc5994 unlink the account again in-game and use an alternative or your same email when you create a new Nexon account. Try that route. The same thing happened to me and I just ignored that customer service nonsense. When you unlink the account log back in the game and make sure you have all your stuff back before you do this process again.
