Great content, i love your channel! How many hours average to complete the expedition? 7 days left and i'd like to know if i have the time.. I love the minotaur! Should I begin the expedition on my main save or start a fresh game? What's the difference? Can i claim the minotaur techs on my main save after if i start a new game to do the expedition?
I agree regarding the flame thrower, I thought it would be better than it is... not that it's useless, but the cannon is a much better weapon. I would suggest making one change. The AI Pilot module isn't needed since the Liquidator and Hardframe body upgrades both have it built in, so there's no need to install the AI Pilot unit if you're using either of those body upgrades. In it's place I would put the Hardframe legs. I think the stats for them will stack alongside the Liquidator legs because there is also an adjacency bonus given when they're placed next to each other. Well, they have the same border colour anyway so it kind of suggests it. More of a personal preference change for me is to switch the positioning of the laser and the engine, with the best engine upgrade supercharged. Since the laser is predominantly for mining, which I never do in the Minotaur, I didn't see the need to supercharge it. Like you, I didn't install the terrain manipulator.
Didnt know the ai was buildt in with the hardframe and liquidator bodies and your right about the legs together they give i believe a 65% boost in fuel and jumprange the hardframe body as far as i can see gives no bonus at al so you could remove that and also the ai and place two s class flame thrower upgrades in their place still not enough room for 3 tho
@@hero2u1 on what discord are you i want to share pictures and show you because the line around the bodies is dark but the adjacency bonus is there might be for extra armor but since you dont see armor stats its hard to say

It's a shame you can't choose the skin used if you have both installed - the Blue skin from the hardframe parts looks so much cooler than the Liquidator parts imo

Unless someone can disprove this with testing, both the Liquidator and Hardframe legs have stats on them, so they both apply, but he Liquidator cosmetic is the one shown, so I'm running both of them. Since the Hardframe and Liquidator torsos are basically the same mod with different cosmetics, that's a user preference choice. Onto what I did differently... I don't play with the stun mechanic (I found the mechanic utterly pointless because the cannon will just kill it rather than stunning it and then killing it with the laser), so I'm not running either of the stun arms. For the Minotaur Canon, I've got that rotated but using the same SC slot you're using. Besides that is the block of six laser mods arranged in a 2x3 rectangle on it's side, with the Flamethrower as a tetris T beneath that on the SC slot. Beside that is the block off 7 engine techs with an S Rank mod in the SC slot with 3 adjacency. AI parts on the the far right side of the grid. That leaves the other tech to be scattered in the holes. IMO HG needs to designate some of the weapon systems as primary and secondary on the Minotaur so that we can use them concurrently like how MT weapon systems work.
@@danielstokkerflamethrower does less damage, even up close, which is the only range it can even hit. does about a third of the damage. it’s better for hitting multiple enemies at once, sun sequently flying right at them. then you can just keep raining damage on them with the flamethrower, or fly back away after hitting them, and then rain fire with the cannon whilst they are receiving fire damage.
I love the minotaur but for soem reason the camera position makes it to where i cant see what im aiming at with the cannon. Its vlocked by the minotaur itself mine looks nothing like your gameplay. Is there a way to make the 3rd person camera more to the side like you have?
Best setup for weapons yes best for effciency no listen both the hardframe sentinal legs and the liquidator legs give it a significant boost to both fuel use and jump range altogether i believe the legs give 65% better jumprange so the hardframe parts can not just be thrown out if you want the benefit of bigger jumps and i checked the rest of the parts only the hardframe body doesnt give any adjacency bonusses as all other parts are outlined and do indicate they give a bonus in all you might be able to remove just the hardframe body as it seem to have no adjacency bonusses going at all so yes we really do need more inventory on the minotaur to get the best out of it as i do use this the most of all my exocraft i really want to maintain that jumprange and had to choose between the cannon with 1 s class upgrade or the flamethrower with 1 s class upgrade in that case your way better off using the cannon as it is a pain in the ass to use the flamethrower its close range and doesnt do a lot more damage then the cannon wich has far more range offcourse so i really like your setup but wont be using it as i use my minotaur often to get around and jump over hills and mountains that arent to steep
@@hero2u1 i also was watching the damage you do with the flame thrower its many times less then the cannon wich in numbers is about 5 times as powerfull and it just does a bit more damage then the mining laser but since its not as usefull as the cannon ill put on both bodies and put in s class for the flamethrower it will do about half the damage that it truly can but i think its better to have both body parts
Supercharging the cannon module gives a much bigger damage boost than supercharging a module. Also the 400% damage from the Hardframe Left Arm seems to just not work. I only get like 6-8 more damage from procs. Does it just give +% damage to the actual base damage of the laser and nothing else?
Surprised that you didn't put the hardframe laser arm on the SC slot? It has a huge boost to damage vs stunned (which the Mino will make use of - firing the stun cannon a few rounds at something and then switching to laser). And yeah, we could use some more tech slots! I was wondering about equipping both the liquidator and hardframe bodies, plus the AI pilot module, to see if that offered some redundancy to combat damage. I've had my Mino shut down in combat because the AI module got taken out (and in expedition, the body module).
Is the liquidator module that can be purchased with quicksilver better performance than the Sentinel skin? I think each skin has its own armament, can this be changed to just a taste for looks or weapons?

I would argue that you could just drop some or all of the mining techs and have all those slots to double up all the hardframe with the liquidator stuff. IMHO there's really no point in using the minotaur for mining, if you're going to mine with an exocraft the nomad is way better.
still after the patch 5.05 i cant get access to the Minotaurus new Modules. I finalised the exp and closed it up. I get all other stuff from the exp but not the Minotauruso Parts. Ticket to Hello games still dont fixed it ! Any idea to solve this problem ? 🤷♂️
i did notice anyone can get the parts from quicksilver without expedition actually. i think they want to do that from now on so people come to the game in future can still get good stuff from quicksilver shop like star runner ship
Dont throw the hardframe parts out he is overlooking a couple of things in this video and hasnt realized the bonusses you get from some ofvthe hardframe parts most powerfull for weapons but weaker in general because he threw the hardframe parts out

Los exocraft es una asignatura pendiente de Hello Games; necesitan una rewiew porque prácticamente solo sirven para guardar/almacenar recursos. No son muy manejables, se conducen mal y no invita a utilizarlos más allá del uso de su radar de señal para encontrar ubicaciones.

The flamethrower is disappointing, instead of installing that I have tried to make adjacencies with the 2 bodies, arms and feet of both models

You don't need the old AI Pilot because both Bodys have one build in. So there is one free Slot I personally used for the other arm too. 😊

I really think nms should add stats on screen for it and more invetory. Because you are right. It's really hard to know exact stats.
Test the flamethrower on the little green monsters or the mini boss beetles. Maybe that's what it's meant for?

@Darkwulk78 The flamethrower is meant for close range crowd control. cannon is for mid - long range single target. that’s it’s it specialty.
The flamethrower sound effects is broken matter fact the flamethrower is trash

yes. you can change it and install 2. you can always remove the mining ones if you don't use it
