How to Make a Paper Flick Football (Origami) - Rob's World

This is the same Paper Football game that Nebula and Tony Stark (Iron Man) were playing in Avengers: End Game!
In this video, I will teach you how to make a Paper Flick Football out of a regular sheet of printer or loose leaf paper. I find that the loose leaf is a lot easier to fold since it is thinner, however, both types of paper will make a good football.
FAQ:
Q:Why is this called a "football" if it's not round?
A: Even though it is shaped like a triangle, it is called a "football" because it uses similar rules to US Football during gameplay. You need to score touchdowns and flick the football to a friend's "Field Goal" post made from their two hands I_I (Field Goal post made from thumb and pointer). More on the game below.
Q: I know an easier way to make this.
A: So do I, however, I prefer to make it this way. I find it's sturdier and won't ever come undone.

Tip:
If you lightly mark the corners of the football with pencil or something, you can unfold it and draw designs within that triangle shape you marked easily and fold it back.

We use to make these in school in the late 60's the field was between 2 white lines used for parking. You had to get the football in the middle of the white line for a touchdown. You had 4 downs either flick it or slide it to the white line. Memories of grade school.

I just walked in on my boy trying learn this and he said that this video is to complicated so I showed him how we made the paper football back in the late 80's and early 90's. I absolutely do not mean any disrespect but it took me all of 45 seconds to make my paper football and my technique is completely different, quicker and easier.
Over all dude, your video is awesome and I never thought in a million yrs there's a video on how to make the paper football so I respect you very much to take the time to show kids a cool trend that I thought died decades ago!!! I tip my hat to you sir and don't stop showing videos like this!!!!

+DJay Coughlin Yes, I know the method you are referring to where you just repeatedly fold a triangle over and over again and then tuck in the end. Though it’s easier, I find it’s a bit more flimsy and doesn’t get the distance these can get. But as long as he has one now and enjoys it, good job Dad! :-)
