@@zloungeact really? oh man. well back then me and my friends used to drink cough syrup before Nirvana and Melvins shows. This night one of our friends took three times our normal dosage. He was experimenting a bit. We were at the show and Mudhoney had just finished and Thor was gacked out of his mind and in another realm. He couldn't speak and was just staring around. Other people were tripping out saying he wasn't OK but we were laughing. We told them to relax and wait for the music to start. It started and Thor felt every nuance of that show. He was crowd surfing and loving everything. I just remember, for me, all the loudness and heaviness of the music, the banter of Christ Novaselic, Dave's drums and all his flams. Singing along, moshing with my brothers. Half way through the show I knew this was pretty epic and I decided for some reason I should go up and take a seat in the balcony and watch the show. When you're in the pit you don't see the show sometimes but you do experience and hear it. You remember the things that happened in the pit more than what went on, on stage. So I split from my friends and went upstairs and stood in the front row of the balcony and rocked out, watching the rest of the show. I did this at a lot of shows. I'd mosh, then watch. I like to see the bands play. I loved that they had that boy and girl on either side of the stage dancing the whole time. It was a pretty typical Nirvana show, just turned out to be something that was etched in history and I happened to be there :)

this sounds so good, so full and rich and almost magical. the sound they got at the paramount show is just perfect. there's something special about this song and specifically this performance of it. it doesn't even seem real. its too good to be real. its like this little bubble in space and time where its always 1991 and Kurt lives forever.

This live song always blows me away ever single tone I hear it unbelievable quality from 1992 !!
I've never heard this particular version of the song before, and I have to say, it's the best! I've heard the one from their Unplugged album, and the one from the box set, but this one matches the sound I most closely associate with Nirvana. Love it! It's almost like hearing a new Nirvana song, except I know it by heart already.
The paramount tone was definitely my most favorite tone of nirvana I especially liked the clean tones of the vandalism stratocaster and the distorted tones of the jaguar

I just wish I could of got to see them play. Just once. Im 34 and I have been a fan since I was six. At that age I used to have to sneak to be able to watch mtv. Music has always been essential in my life. I don't know what I would do without it. It heals a part of me that talking or medication just doesn't work on. It strikes me at my very core. I can't really explain it but if you know what Im talking about you know the feeling you get listening to music.
