We were lucky to get parking at Rainy Lake as we got there early. The trail was a super easy and paved .9 miles to a beautiful alpine lake. We also hiked to Blue lake which is super popular and finding parking was hard; we had to park on the sides of the main scenic byways. Then lastly we did the Diablo Overlook, was a beautiful turquoise lake, so mesmerizing.

How cool that there are so many glaciers! The views are all so beautiful. The rocks in the creak look so pretty! Diablo lake is a gorgeous colour. It looks like the Glacier fed lakes in Banff xx
You are getting pretty far North. Looked like a beautiful area to visit. That is a beautiful highway for a scenic drive. I would definitely be carrying bear spray on any of those trails. Huge trees! Awesome to see the waterfalls and the unique color of the glacier water lakes. Awesome tour of the area. So fun. Have a great day.
I feel like I might want to visit this park. This might be our destination if we ever make it to Washington state. It's just so pretty! Love the falls. And the overlook from the visitor center is amazing! Maybe we'll get there one day.
North Cascades is a beautiful place. Oh wow, that's a lot of glaciers! that water is super clear, bet it was super cold too LoL 🥶So many amazing overlooks 🤩

Yes, chasing waterfalls! I was surprised by the pristine water 3:59 it is just like FL springs. The color of the lake is remarkable I don't see here in NC..wow 6: 47 I wish I had enough time to kayak 6:55 Thank you for this gorgeous road trip. Did you have enough time visited places you planned ? It seems you were fortunate to have had pretty weather. Have you made a plan for this summer?
