Out of Aeons, SLs, 5th Elements, 909s, and Blanks....the 5th Elements were by far the best for grinder blading. The souls are sooooo fast.

Skating these out of the box after skating Aeons was INSANE. Lightening fast was the only way to describe it. Skating that p rail at Daily Shredd required absolute focus - luckily never ate sh*t

I was so close to pulling the trigger on these last week. I skated Roces quads in the 90s. Settled on some Sway's in the end. First time skating inline, its... different in a good way. Love your videos.
The og fifth element was the first skate that I saved up and bought on my own being a 15-16 year old working at a movie theater. I loved them so much. I remember wearing them through the entire soul and h block. I never wanted to get rid of them.
Just got a delivery notification on some fifths i had ordered, stuck in work waiting to get home and give em a go, hopeful that i finally have a skate that doesnt hurt my wide feet.
Can't for the life of me figure out what the difference is but the SOUND is so pleasant. And agree w/ everything about measuring your exact foot size - having recently gotten back into skating I realize I pretty much always skated in skates that were too big and having some that fit properly is a HUGE game changer

Oh, I agree with a few of the folks on the thread, that skate color looks good on you. The skates look nice; and comfy if they are the right size.
Always wanted to try the 5th’s since they brought them back. My friend has these and she loves them, colour looks great in person. Awesome skating Ben, as usual haha ✌🏼

Bro 275 is a 9 and a half, these skate companies are being slick with sizing because they too cheap to do individual sizing like rollerblade. And its really made buying new skates the biggest headache if its not a skate you're already familiar with.

I am biased as I have fifths atm and also skated them in the late 90's/early 00's, but great all round skate and really can't go wrong. Having skated most popular skates on the market today you can't go wrong with Roces, they just feel like quality and for a wide aggressive boot they are probably the best around that price point.

I was like "oh no..." as soon as that Roces sizing page came up. It's outright criminal they still have that decieving thing online. Something about the 5th souls and roces frames that make the setup sound satisfying on landings, curious what it would sound like with the Phlebos.
Fifths with Intuition premium is the best combination for my damn hobbit feet!

Great video and skating as always Ben! We have similar Mondopoint size but I know for sure you could skate the size US 9 5th Elements since those fit me great. That is both with the stock Roces liner and US 9-9.5 Intuition Premiums. If you ever try the M12s, the size US 10 would be perfect for you.

I just ordered the M12 in my size as a ladies size is 9; would they fit too big, too?? They coming from Italy, so when they come will tell everyone. It’s my first time. 😬
@@JasmineJina_JJ Sorry, that I am not too sure. I really only know that the shell size for the US 8-9 is bundled for men's size and that US 10 is a unique shell size and then it goes US 11-12.

You should be fine. I wear size 10-10.5 Nike. 280mm mondo with wide feet. Size 10 shell M12 fits me. Size 8-9 shell 5th fits me, BUT need a size 10 liner.@@JasmineJina_JJ

I've just seen you look at the roces size chart and it's awful and so wrong. I'm a 275er and I use the us8/9 shell. I assume I will see later in the video these things felt big! Curious to hear your thoughts.

they are very quiet.
I’m a woman if it makes a difference, and I find them to be a bit too heavy. Love jumping on shit with them though. They are sooo solid and great for learning grinds. I love them in every other way. My first pair of inlines. I’ll just have to train my leg strength.
good afternoon! my foot is 255mm what would be the ideal size of the skate with the standard line on the 5th element
I'm only 1 month late with my comment, but here we go. 275 mondo is more like UE 42 which should be 9.5 so you went pretty big with the shell. I'm mondo 280 (EU 43, us 10) and this shell fits me perfectly as this is a 43/44 shell. The Liner I did not like, I'm using a myfit spc instead, but used some stock myfits before I had lying around.

Those skates look so good. Unfortunately they don't make them larger than 10.5.
You've probably already seen, but if not the newer models (the last 2 releases at least) go up a few more sizes.

fun fact the savosin pro is the only stock liner that comes with that foot bed its weird maybe he requested it??? all the other liners still have the corkskrew foot bed lol

Roces hands down, has the worst sizing chart in the industry but they make some fine ass skates.

I be having the same problem with my knees when skating with 5th elements how can I fix that problem.
Make your knees stronger, watch knees over toes guy on RUclips.
Are these narrow like the other roces boots?
DEFINITELY not. These are good for wide feet.

Ah yes, the 5th element. The only skates that'll fit my wide ass feet.
Your skating is amazing and you can make just about any skate look good. But the 5th Elements were hideous, goofy looking skates when they came out probably 25 years ago. They always looked too big. I remember because I was in my skating prime at that time.
This is one skate I never thought I'd see come back. The Majestic 12s on the other hand, are classics.

have you seen the 5th element or the valo soul on a pair of Mesmers yet i dont know why but it looks so good to me. i think it might be because it give the mesmer a wider side profile where they normally look so skinny. this is soul says the fit with if you Dremel out the soul a bit.
