I forgot all about "I come from a long line of wives and mothers"
The, “most do” retort kills me every time
in that documentary redux episode the dean was crying and said he broke the machine, good example of keeping continuity in this show.
I know I’m 3 years late but that’s also a reference to the opening monologue of heart of darkness, which is the novella apocalypse now is based on
when pierce said "let me invest in you" my heart melted. they really did a bunch of character development in season 3
That’s the only thing that sticks out to me as a flaw in the series, Britta and Pierce have poor character development in the following seasons. I understand Dan Harmon had a specific beef with Chevy and Chevy was difficult with the whole team but I don’t get why they wrote Britta to be more 1D than most of the other cast members. I don’t hate the show, it got me through aome really negative times in my life but I do sometimes wonder how it would be different with those characters written with better character arcs.
@@kylemerryman2074 Yeah, honestly it felt like the show was just punching down at Britta, it could be straight up mean-spirited. She could have just been a misguided but well-meaning activist, a lot of the actual good jokes around her would have still worked, but then the show just made her the butt of the joke, and now she's actually dumb too, on a level that's not really that believable.
@@kylemerryman2074 It was the other Showrunners, Season 4 pissed off Chevy Chase the most since his character was largely taken away from, outside of a few specific instances. It's kind of sad in that sense. Seasons 5 & 6 do have Britta stepping up a bit more, but Pierce leaves the show, and the Troy-Britta relationship gets squashed in S4. I still blame the sudden change in creators for that, since the rest of S4 & 5 are genuinely gold.
Apart from scotch, redheads, his mom, dog and a house, Annie is in his heart 9 times. 9!!
Oh man.. that last Pierce bit was some classic Chevy Chase humor. Like Clark W. Griswold grade.
Chevy Chase is awesome at physical comedy and they use it so very well.
Indeed. He gets flack for being a dick but really thats a lowkey compliment for nailing the role of Pierce.
@@quick2bud Wonder if it's acting or just who Chevy is lmao
@@forr35t That is interesting. I've noticed he did a lot of physical comedy in his earlier movies from the 1980s: Seems Like Old Times, Fletch, and the classic Caddyshack.
Marketa means American Psycho, not Psycho. Pierce also looks like basically anyone from the movie Wall Street
I like hearing Pat's point of view, we need Chris as a regular, and I miss Mickey and Suraj.
When he's actually talking Pat can say some pretty perceptive stuff.
That was some classic Chevy Chase shtick at the end there with the ice cream machine.
So many phenomenal quotes from this episodes
Suraj is gone for like a second and already they're all out of focus.
It doesn't feel like a Community reaction without Suraj & Mickey
You gotta at least have one if you can't get both.
Same :(((((((
Micky😟
This was a boring episode anyway.
Pierce wasn’t dressed as character from Wolf of Wall Street or American Psycho, he was dressed as Gordon Gekko from the Oliver Stone classic Wall Street.
One of the best lines
"You're anti-wedding now?"
"She's pro-anti"
Pierce's look is definitely a copy of Gordon Gekko
"I come from a long line of wives and mothers"
“Many do”
In retrospect the joke to have Andre (Theo) wear Cosby sweaters in every appearance did not age very well.
yeah, saw a roseanne joke in 30 rock that hasn't aged well
5:56, freeze frame is hilarious.
You guys should react to the bloopers from the first three seasons once you're done with this one
imma die by werewolf
You guys forgot the real season 3 episode 11. It's called contemporary impressionists.
Man Suraj's reaction to Troy and Abed being normal would've been priceless
pierce is dressed as gordon gecko, michael douglas' character in Wall Street
The fact that not a single one of these four people got the Wall Street reference made it so clear this group is the wrong group to watch this series. I like Raina, and I will not be disrespectful to someone simply because I don’t care for her reactions to this particular show, but her reference points and sense of humor just do not fit this show, and the couple in the middle have already seen it before so it takes the wind out of the sails a bit that it’s not a first time reaction from them. Pat, Mickey, Siraj and the girl who was in town reviewing the show for part of season 2 are the 4 best in my opinion, tonally. But I just appreciate anyone who chooses to review this jem. Thank you all.
The episodes were played out of order. This is the second episode after the Christmas one.
The same is true for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to last episodes of this season.
HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE
I can’t believe you guys missed annie’s face being in Jeff’s heart like 3 times. We love the endgame couple
Actually she is in his heart 9 freaking times! 9!! Just run the original video on YT at .25 speed and it's clear.
Nalin Nawani that’s including shots of her boob tho right? But her actual face is 3 times (sorry if im wrong)
@@valentinafangirling No no...just play clip at .25 speed and you will see. Pictures repeat themselves but faces are actually more than 3 times...
Heads up, guys: this reaction is not added to your Community Group Reaction playlist... you added 3x10 twice instead.
I knew Suraj wouldn't be in this reaction as soon as I saw that the video had fewer than 1k likes...
you guys shld do a GLOW reaction!
Nahhh
Halle Berry in 1999 : Bulworth. Who wouldn't want to be with Halle Berry in 1999 ?
I’m fine with Suraj not in this specific video since this episode is a weaker episode of the series.
Did you see Jeff dance?
If Suraj can't be there I'd rather wait until he comes back than get a reaction without him.
@Mateo Sid If Rana couldn't be there for whatever reason, I'd rather wait until she comes back too, this is not about Suraj specifically, I just want to have the full crew always.
Subway.
Pierce looking like Larry King
I finished in 1 month. Is there a movie?
No
why?
WHERE IS SURAJ?
Aww the proposal was so cute but man this marriage is so not gonna work out... again!
Anyone know what the "Halle Berry in 1999" joke is about?
Muad'dib2288 just what the women on the poster looked like I guess
Micky😭
Gravity Falls?
where is gravity falls!!!! >:v
Are Suraj and Rana related? Because they have a very similar laugh.
Hi! Please react to The Haunting of Hill House
This just looks flat out awkward for real.
totally different reaction from her, without her fling
:')
Seriously, they have to stop bringing Rana to the Community reactions... She brings nothing to the table, she takes any opportunity to hate on Jeff and her favorite character is Pierce?!?! GTFOH
I miss Mickey and Suraj, I bet they would've noticed Annie's face in Jeff's heart appear multiple times (not just her boobs) He cares a lot about her, I hope they end up together.
For real. She has some weird hate boner for Jeff
It's great to see a Community reaction without Suraj yapping through dialogue. I hope we stick with these reactors
A pretty cool episode in a pretty disappointing season overall. And great reaction, as always. Although... 0:21 why even watch ?
so does brown girl with the black guy? and the thicc white girl with the white ginger guy who never says anything?
Great, characterize them by color.
Chris is married to Marketa.
The other 2 are just friends.
@@shortstuff780 If he doesnt know their names then yes..wasnt a big deal then or now. Also he referred to their body bodyfat & reactive output ^
