I really enjoyed this season. It's a shame about the cast though. Dan did everything he possibly could. He did say on a few occasions that once donald glover left the show kind of died. He kind of saw him as the heart of the show. And has openly talked about how dissapointed he was that donald left.
I think a lot of people actually watched, but they didn't monetize it properly. I believe it was free to watch with some ads, or something similar. I could be remembering wrong altogether though.

I remember what I liked least about this season was the lighting and that the backgrounds really looked like sets. So I understand and agree with what Suraj said right after the reaction; yes, you can totally see the lighting and it's distracting. That said, this episode in particular was pretty fun!

I always like the beginning of this episode with the outdoor shots and original music. Very reminiscent of Season 1. The montages too make me think of season 1 episode 2 (Spanish 101) with Jeff and Pierce. Classic Community.
They got both him and Giancarlo Esposito to appear cause everyone loved Breaking Bad but they are both soooo out of place on a comedy show. Hickey was awful.
I still remember watching this and thinking : "Jesus, that show STILL works. How can it still be working ?". The first half of season 5 was an surprisingly awesome return to form, but the back half was pretty weak. Then this. Plus, they managed to make us accept that new Frankie character so easily ! "My favorite episode of all seasons, I think" ---> Let's not get carried away, though. :D
I love season 6, considering they lost Shirley as well I think they did a damn good job with the new characters and I enjoyed the 10 minutes extra each episode.

For some reason this has always been one of my least 2 favorite episodes of season 6, but you made me see the humor in it a lot more. I love this season, but the flat moments just fall really flat for me and I feel like the humor changes a bit and some people love it and some people hate it, and im definitely more on the loving it side. They had to shoot this in a basement set that had columns, which is why they did the whole frisbee thing as an excuse for why columns were all of a sudden in the cafeteria. Otherwise, the study room was lit to look more natural, using the light that would come from outside in. It's a change for sure but you get used to it.

There's a deleted scene from this episode for the "Annie/ladder accident" after scene, in which Jeff goes to see her and she's already in a bed, not being taken away by paramedics.
I for one think the long running times harmed this season a lot. Edited 21 min episodes would have been much sharper and funnier and would have done away with a lot of unnecessary fat these episodes carry. Looking forward to the last 4 though. All 10/10 in my book, but a long way to get there.

Or not current enough to contact someone at. When I worked for the same company back in 2014 I was GIVEN two compuserve e-mail addresses, so they may still exist.

Shirley isn't in season 6 because Yvette Nicole Brown left to care for her sick dad. They released her from her contract and everything. Very classy.

Honestly season 5 was fantastic because of how great hickey and duncan fit with the rest of the cast, i wish they had come back for the final season.
I think season 5 and 6 are great, but obviously would have been a lot better with the original cast.
