- Bits and Bops is a brand new Rhythm game that's currently trying to get funded on Kickstarter. Really, it's a spiritual successor to Rhythm Heaven, and I LOVE it. The game is adorable, and with games like Friday Night Funkin' and Scratchin' Melodii doing well on my channel, I had to try it out!

Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "Ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r.

I didn't realize until the end of the hammer segment the zoom-ins were also part of the game. I thought he edited it that way to emphasize when he'd mess up an easy pattern and then successfully do a hard pattern.
Just played all 3 demo songs and they are AMAZING!!!! So much charm, so much personality, I WILL be buying this game when it goes on steam officially. If only I could support the kickstarter.

I love the little bits of story in minigames like the cat picture one
Honestly never even heard of this rhythm game before until now,
but I definitely might want to check it out for sure since it looks pretty promising esspically with graphics, gameplay, and ect.
Assuming we won't get a Rhythm Heaven game on the switch this is a good replacment
It's awesome seeing a group of people keep the rhythm heaven style of rhythm game alive. Maybe they've been compared to rhythm heaven a lot, but this is definitely a strong enough demo to feel like a stand alone franchise, there's so much unique character in the art and music
oh wait i think i might've seen the hammer demo before, i remember something about the cat covering the manual... but yeah this looks very interesting, anything rhythm I'm always in

I hope this game gets lots of new fans! This genre of rhythm game is seriously underrated and under-utilized
one song in and i already love this game, the only thing this game needs to be perfect are the remix stages with vocals
granted that would just make it even mores similar to Rhytm Heaven which could be seen as a downside to some but they're just to much fun too not include IMO

Yo,you should play the Undertale Bits and Pieces mod,its a remaster of the original game with a few quality original stuff added there(also the ost Unnecesarry Tension might sound a little similiar)

i heard about it through the rhythm doctor collab level!! i'm so glad that there was one, tbh.
but, yeah! pretty excited by it!! it's odd, though, i never was into rhythm heaven much (but into warioware?); lmao. it's so cool to see other rhythm games in the same vein (like rhythm doctor, and now this!).
all in all, great demo! :D
excited for the switch port, too! to my knowledge, i don't think i really've found another rhythm game like rhythm heaven on switch. i've heard about talk w/ how rhythm doctor might have a console port? but, anyways, this is so neat-o. lovin' the people!

I do hope he does try rhythm heaven after this, they are great games, though there are only 4 games, first GBA game (Japan only, with fan translation), DS, Wii, and 3DS download only for US, so the one he should try is either the GBA one with the fan translation, or the Wii one, so wish RH gets a switch game at some point, but idk if it would happen
