Fun fact : This song was written before red album released way back 2012. This song is the first song written in 1989 album and it is actually a poem .

Basically main vocals are double take panned really wide. Pretty much the same as the older version. What is different is definitely the reverb and delay, specially towards the end. And obviously her voice is more mature. This is my most favorite album ever!!!! I have been waiting for it forever!!!!! Not just because I am born in 1989 but also I heard this album for the first time as I was venturing into new sounds in music production. ❤🌺🌸😭🤗

It was a great reaction! I can't describe my excitement for This Love TV, it sounds so close to the original I can barely tell them apart! I was quite nervous that it would be too difficult to mix this song in the exact same way. The panning is meant to sound like ebb and flow, which mirrors the lyrics (clear blue water, high tide, currents, sinking ships). I can hear that the new mix is slightly different but the effect remains the same which is the most important thing to me.

The production is genius level brilliant. It literally sounds like the sea. Big crashes moving closer and farther away with the waves, echos like seashells and gently cresting waves, so much vast space that can suddenly go still and quiet only to writhe up again, swell, crash back down, build back up and then set you down gently when it could just as easily could have claimed your life. Unpredictable, lonely and at the same time primal in the way we need it to survive, just like love. The most underrated song I think of this century, I can't stress it enough.
