People don't sleep on the Samsung A20.. I did my research on this phone before it came out and I knew it would easily take the place or upgrade from the Stylo 5...
I totally agree! I like the LG stylo 5 but the cameras sucks......and I hate that I cant move apps and games now! That's ridiculous because you could with the stylo 4 and the cameras weren't as bad as the stylo 5 so WTF LG🙄🙄🙄

Samsung hands down. LGs are notorious for breaking, the Stylo is no exception. Metro has a very hard case for these two phones. dropped my a20 a few times no issue, LG is not so forgiving. Immediate fracture from the shock of the impact. Samsungs screen distributes the force differently.

I finally got my Samsung Galaxy A20 and this phone is freaky awesome! I can't believe that the screen is just 720p but in a way still looks like 1080p good job Samsung and the sound of the speaker is loud too good buy.🤙👍💪

I literally had to choose between the a20 phone or the stylo 5. And i would've picked the 5 considering i have i have the stylo 4. Now i know i would've made the wrong choice.
Those Antutu scores don't really mean a whole lot with budget phones. I have a J7 Refine that scored 98,000 on Antutu while my Moto E5 plus only scored 52K. The moto smokes the J7 when it comes to everyday basic use. The J7 seems a little better for 3D games but other than that, it lags a lot otherwise. My Moto is Fast AF, especially after installing a custom Android Pie rom onto it recently.
I would love to see an Alcatel 7 durability test. If you don't plan on keeping the phone and not destroying it, I want to see you press down with all your force in the middle of the screen to see if it will start glitching out and restart pretty much every time it turns back on. I think that was the reason mine stopped working.
I purchased the Stylo 5 from Boost, Dec 23,2019. for $129. It meets my needs of talking, texting, Marco Polo with my kids and active and retired military buddies. I stream movies, tv programs using kodi. Depending on the room I'm in, the phone can be used to cast through Chromecast and Fire tvs. I don't get excited about sound quality from any cell phones, in general. because more often than not, I'm using headphones or a portable blutooth speaker to listen to programs or talk on the phone. My children tell me that the picture and video quality is an improvement over my previous.phone. The pictures I sent as attachments and video with Marco Polo were taken at sunset and night time pictures, of the neighborhood just using the street lights. The 5 may not have the resolution and low light quality of an iPhone or iPad or other better phones, but my kids and grand kids can verify it is an improvement over my old phone. This phone does have a FM radio. That is an unexpected plus, but a wired headphone has to be plugged into the phone so that it can act as antenna. So no blutooth radio reception What I haven't tried yet is to use an extension speaker cord from the phone's headphone jack to an external speaker to see if that will work. My previous phone, an LG Tribute HD, quit working, because the antenna was broken from too many drops lol,. I got this phone because I needed something more for a replacement rather than an upgrade. For my needs and usage, I didn't have a need to spend over $200 for a phone.

Blessedpoet15 so far I absolutely love it, the screen size is amazing for RUclips and videos, I’m not a big gamer so I haven’t tested games, everything runs very smoothly so far.

@@mollies13 I seen them both in front of me and the AMOLED looks way better even at 720p! I have a Galaxy S9 and never realized how much better an AMOLED looks compared to a LCD phone display until I got one! The blacks are really black and the colors look amazing!

My Stylo 4 is dying. Headphone jack dead and to charge I have to put pressure on core or lean it against something to get it to charge. A few things. 1. Is LG known for bad ports or anything. 2. I need a new phone, I don't think I can get another Stylo 4 at Metro so should I just go A20 or stick with Stylo. Only games I play now really are Darkness Rises and Alliance vs Empire. Both played fine on the stylo 4. Neither phone may be a tremendous perf improvement as far as gaming goes. I watch a lot of HD video and have lots of gif animations not sure which screen will be better overall
@J I should probably get the A20, even if a lower resolution. 6 inches is too small to tell diff between 720p and 1080p anyways. It's more like a "mine's bigger" contest. Unless you have falcon or hawk eyes. Benefit to nicer screen and longer batt due to lower res may be way to go. Games may run smoother since it won't be set to 1080 puxels

KingCP08 / Chanjoo Park The panel on the A20 would have been great had Samsung not cheapened out with a low resolution screen. LCD can get away with 720p. Amoled screens pixelate worse with low resolutions. It doesn’t help that OneUi has oversized icons either.
The Stylo 5 honestly is so much better than the a20.. it's an all around better phone camera, better screen and much faster .. my dad bought the a20 when I got my Stylo 5 so I've played around with Galaxy phone ill definitely keep my Stylo 5
Here's the thing the a20 is faster on calculator and camera but not RUclips or anything else the reason is because of the carrier you use and how far away you are and the connection of your speed. I say the winner would be the a20 on this one check out my RUclips Im going to be making videos of things other RUclipsrs did wrong
Your hand-eye coordination is really off. From the pressure, you put to start the phones to which hand you tapped with first are a bias. Are you right-handed? From the start, you discredited your whole test.
@@arie.ackerman I'm sorry to hear that. That's a downer. I previously had a smaller Lg Tribute HD and could get maybe 8 hours of use before recharging the battery. With my Stylo 5 , 15 hours later I still have 74% power. Possibly my internet and streaming usage is less demanding on this phone's battery, than my previousTribute.
The only thing you are showing in this video is that you are right handed so the Samsung Galaxy A20 selections are a half second or second behind in starting.

It's still pretty new so we'll see if it stands the test of time. All of my cheaper samsungs in the past started gettin real laggy after just a short while. even after factory resets. still laggy af. Even my Samsung Note 5 turned to shit in less than a year.

LG Stylo 5 has only SD450, while Galaxy A20 has E7884 SoC... So there is a huge diffence in antutu scores...

Not all of the stylo 5's have NFC there's only one carrier that as the NFC enabled one and i think it's Metro, either way it's a great phone to have.

What I dislike about the A20 is the 720p screen, the Plastic Back and the RAM. Other than that it’s an awesome phone for it’s budget

too bad the a20 has an adams family notch on the top, the stylo 5 looks so good in person without the notch, it just cant hang with the a20 though
